M asked me to figure out something for us to do on Sunday and/or Monday while we were in Hollywood, and that ended up being a visit to Hollywood’s Yellow Green Farmers Market. Open only on the weekends, this is a pretty large market containing a number of stalls with food/drink, clothing, spices, and some meat and produce vendors. We went to get some food for lunch, and landed on first getting some brisket at Wholly Cow BBQ (along with some slaw and mac and cheese, with the latter being some of the best I’ve had in a long time), and then we had classic, Incan-style shrimp ceviche from Ceviche Express.co, which ended up being just what I wanted.  We enjoyed the ceviche at Happytizer Bar across the way from them with a couple of beers, and it was such a lovely way to spend the early afternoon. 12/10, would recommend for anyone who is in the area on the weekend.
