ABOUT
Skoll was named after the giant wolf that chased the sun. The one who mocks. And from an early age, he embodied the typical sneering and mocking personality that is seen across his host of brothers. The Jansen name has always carried a proud reputation for the warriors it produces. The Visser wolf pack in White River had been their home for generations, and nothing but warriors have emerged from their name. It was cosnidered something of a blood-gift in their lineage, to be crazed and unpredictable in the battlefield. But, beyond life as a warrior, it was not uncommon to find the Jansen name dragged through mud. Like his brothers, Skoll became a heart that was full of intensity. While he might not be loud and boastful, there is an obvious air of confidence that follows him and laces through his dry, cold and sarcastic words.
His arrogance has often been his biggest downfall, but Skoll sees the trait as a blessing rather than a curse. He went through his life with his brothers at his side, all of them chaotic and unyielding in their own way. On some days he offers guidance and on others, he offers troubl. It has been this way since they were boys, all six of them either fighting shoulder to shoulder or battling against one another in erupting sibling rivalry. But, their bond has always been unbreakable, forged during the grueling training that the Jansen traditions begin long before their wolves turn thirteen years and shift for the first time.
Alongside learning how to be a warrior, Skoll showed heightened skills at extracting information from enemies. He became known as Skoll the Mindbreaker. His excruciating methods always seemed to leave their prisoners brains a muddled mess, desperate to speak their secrets in hope for a survival that was promised but never came. It became difficult for others to trust Skoll when this became his fate, some wolves and witches avoided him in a bid to keep their own sanity intact. But, there was one wolf that seemed to be more intrigued than intimidated.
Lilja Visser captured Skoll's attention from the moment he noticed her ears, caught within the shift of human to wolf, delicately peeping from beneath her hair. Her adventurous and sometimes mischievous spirit was equally as endearing to him, and the two of them were suddenly inseparable. At least, until it became obvious that their differing personalities were sometimes too vast to ever meet in the middle. Just as stubborn as she, Lilja and Skoll were entranced in a back and forth cycle. He was forever chasing the sun, just as his name always suggested his fate would be.
When the war began in 2020, Skoll fought for the two days until he finally needed to retreat. He managed to escape with some of his brothers, Hati, Vidar and their youngest brother Egil. Together they have remained fighting across the lands in order to search for their other missing brothers Thorin and Loki. It has been a wild journey, with many mishaps and typical Jansen chaos along the way. Skoll has also been determined to find any trace of Lilja's survival, sometimes convincing his brothers into precarious situations because he's convinced it leads them to her.

Name: Lilja Visser
Age & Birthday: 24 years old, October 1st 1999
Gender/Pronouns: cis woman she/her
Birthplace: White River, Colorado
Time in Hollow Cove: tbd
Species: Werewolf - Visser Pack
Role: Runner / Soldier
Positive personality traits: Driven, Optimistic, Passionate, Sincere
Negative personality traits: Forceful, Impatient, Inflexible, Defensive
ABOUT
Lilja has nothing but pride for her name. A profound respect for her lineage, the leaders and warriors that all came before her and who's memories she honors with every step she takes. Born just minutes after her twin brother, Lilja and Aric's arrival into the world marked the tragic departure of their mother. Their father Roan was left to raise them, Lilja aware of the potential of one day stepping into the role of Alpha or Beta. She accepted this responsibility dutifully and she, with her brother and father, forged an unbreakable bond rooted in respect, strength, and the unwavering pride of their pack and name.
From her earliest days, Lilja's spirit brimmed with adventure and sometimes even mischief. But this was not the only thing that Lilja heard as a comparison to her mother. A cherished link to her mother's legacy sits behind tresses of dark hair, sometimes pointing through. Lilja was born with her ears caught in the subtle transformation between wolf and human. A constant reminder of her lost mother and the memories she hopes can live on through her.
Bound by Visser tradition, Lilja embraced her role as a fighter and embarked on rigorous training as soon as she reached thirteen. The crucible of training sculpted her character further and it became apparent that she also embodies the determination and forcefulness of her father. Unyielding and passionate, Lilja distinguished herself as the impulsive counterpart to her brother's strategic mind.
Years later, when her father's union with a new wolf, Tofa, reshaped their family dynamic, Lilja made it perfectly clear she would never respect the new woman as an authority figure in her life. Resolute in her stance, Lilja barely made an attempt to form a connection with Tofa and often times was cruel with the way she navigated conversations purely to memories of her mother. A constant reminder that Tofa would forever be in her shadow.
Lilja's life soon became entwined with Skoll Jansen, a warrior who ignited both conflict and attraction within her. The Jansen wolves were notorious for how they fought, but their reputation was never positive beyond the battlefield. Skoll and Lilja's obvious differences became their own fight, setting the stage for a tumultuous journey. Just days before the war reached them, Lilja declared how she never wished to see him again.
As the chaos of war engulfed their homes, Lilja fought but was eventually separated from her family. With nobody but Tofa by her side, the two of them needed to flee in order to survive. They later agreed to travel back on themselves with hopes of meeting other survivors but when they reached their homes, there was nothing but destruction and the aftermath of death. Proving that the two of them needed to stay together while they traveled war-torn land and searched for their family.
Lilja doesn't remember there being much conversation before or after that night, but she remembers the blood and the screams of Tofa's agony. How both of them knew that a soul had been lost before it even had the chance to breathe. A crucial and desperate thread of respect was woven from Lilja towards Tofa, then. And slowly, it grew. Over the passing years it has threaded deeper and deeper between the two of them, Tofa saving Lilja from her own impulsiveness and many close-brushes with death. There was even a semblance of an apology muttered from Lilja one night while Tofa was sleeping. Heartfelt but quiet words that showed remorse for how she treated her before. Because now, Lilja knows she would never have survived the change of their world without her.

BASICS.
Name: Vidar Jansen
Age & Birthday: 36, August 17, 1987
Gender/Pronouns: cis man he/him
Birthplace: White River, Colorado
Time in Hollow Cove: tbd
Species: Werewolf / Visser Pack
Role in Hollow Cove: Runner / Soldier
Positive personality traits: innovative, passionate, spontaneous
Negative personality traits: arrogant, irreverent, sly, vengeful
ABOUT.
Vidar was born third of the Jansen sons and named after one of the gods of vengeance. A warning to any who’d cross the Jansens or the Visser pack that there’d be hell to pay. Thoroughly the middle son, Vidar grew up with mischief in his bones, a sly smile at the ready, he was always coming up with ways to get into, and out of, trouble.
Training was second nature to him and his brothers, an accepted part of life that never went away. Still, he always preferred to make a game of the fight. With an irreverent attitude towards most things, Vidar can be easily mistaken as not caring about anything. But anyone who knows him knows that if he’s passionate about something, or if he believes he’s been slighted, he’ll take what he wants by force, whether that’s victory or vengeance.
When the war came to their doorstep, it lit another fire in Vidar, once again pursuing his namesake. He was captured with his three brothers, Hati, Skoll and Egil at the beginning of the war and when they escaped from a transport in 2021, he continued on with them. They’ve spent the better part of two years searching for members of their pack, and Skoll’s wife in particular. So long as he can wet his blade with the blood of their enemies, Vidar is content with their journey

Name: Hati Jansen
Age & Birthday: 40 years old, June 5th 1989
Gender/Pronouns: Cis Man He/Him
Birthplace: White River, Colorado
Time in Hollow Cove: 1 week (Jan 2024)
Species: Werewolf - Visser Pack
Role: Soldier
Positive personality traits: humorous, brave, gallant
Negative personality traits: cocky, intense, spiteful
ABOUT
The second born Jansen son was named after the giant wolf that chased after the moon. The one who hates. Hati, however, exceeded expectations of his name when he grew into a gregarious and sociable man who was often found laughing. However, his name still showed its influence in his interactions, as Hati can easily lose his temper. His cockiness and gallant nature was often a recipe for disaster, pleasant evenings turned into chaos within the blink of an eye. Hati, still, is an amusing friend but one to watch closely in case he erupts.
Like the Jansen name dictates, they were raised to be intense and unpredictable fighters in the Visser pack. Alongside already brutal warriors, Jansen wolves were destined to be the wild-card with petrifying energy to their enemies. And the unbalanced way their minds were molded wasn't only for when they fought. Hati is proud of his brothers, remaining often by their side while they were growing and constantly wishing to see them master their abilities. And the blessed madness that was given to them by birth. He encourages each of them, even their flaws. But, he is also a younger brother himself and admires Skoll's deviousness.
There is nothing Hati loves more than a fight, and his cockiness and abrasiveness saw him running head first into the attack when the human military discovered their homes. He was captured with two of his brothers, Skoll and Egil, and has remained with them since. When they escaped from transport in 2021 with other wolves with them, Hati has seen how Skoll descended into further madness while searching for Nanna. He's had no choice but to follow, searching aimlessly now through Canada for a witch he thinks is dead.

CHAPTER 4 - MUSINGS
A condensed version of what's happening with each of my muses.
Ryan Cross: After the supply runs fail to return, Ryan will be quite a loud voice urging that the 3 day grace period is revised. He will be difficult and volatile about this opinion and also demanding that he is on the first search party. Wolf takes his name off the list, prompting fallout between the two of them. However, Ryan does join later searches that continue through the month. He tries to join any that he can. He also throws himself into the work happening through the town when he isn't on one. Key Points: He's easily agitated, prone to being argumentative and back to his impulsive and brash ways.
Mackenzie Vaisman: She's currently in Thunder River. She will be trying to join fights in order to obtain supplies but she doesn't do very well. When she catches on that people are slowly formulating a plan of escape, she joins in to help and will be part of the escape group with Alana. Key Points: Trying to keep her head above water but eager to pull her weight to get them out of there, possibly leading to some sticky situations.
Rineike Visser: With Thorin and Egil gone, Rineike will be eager to find them but cautious of how many numbers they risk in order to do so. Could potentially cause angst if more Jansen wolves wish to join searches but Rineike is very precise about who she thinks should go, and she constantly evades discussions about it. She will be focused on the task at hand with her role as a council member. Key Points: Rineike will mostly be thinking about expanding of Hollow Cove, and continuing her and Roan's vision of hiding away supplies for their own use and slowly moving things into place for Hollow Cove to be under their control.
Charlie Prescott: A mess. No one is sure if Teddy joined the Sun Peak supply run, but Charlie thinks she did. She tries to get herself on any search party she can go on, lots of potential angst if she can't go on some. She also is passionate about revising the 3 day grace period when a run doesn't return and will be difficult about her opinion. Key Points: Most of the time she will be purely focusing on finding her daughter and absolutely nothing else matters to her.
Sebastian Belcourt: With everything happening, Seb is focusing on becoming a shift-manager for the town so he can aid the Belcourt coven to earn more spaces on runs. He's focused on trying to decipher if Felix is a threat to the coven, and come up with ideas on how they could move forward if Felix was behind the soldier's escape. Key Points: Still doing his thing, he will be easy to interact with but as always is focused on what he considers to matter most.
Asher Anderson: Has previously been helping the Belcourt witches with what he knows about the previous camp he was held in with Pri, but his knowledge is limited on where she could have been taken to. He becomes torn on where to spend most of his time, either helping the Belcourts or his own pack. He's busy during this time period because he tries to spread himself thinly, very stressed but internalizing it. Key Points: Probably will be rushed and intense in any interactions, possibly an opening for difficult situations where his mind just isn't with it because he's trying to do so much at once.
Hazel Jones: Trying to remain positive in the aftermath of Teddy missing and Sophia leaving, along with the failed supply run AND the return of her mother. She's probably a bit louder than usual as a way to conceal what she's really feeling, which is simply stressed. She's focusing on being a mother, while battling with a whole bunch of emotions. Key Points: Will probably be over the top enthusiastic in most interactions and refusing to talk about the genuine issues at hands.
Skoll Jansen: With Thorin and Egil missing, Skoll will be joining search parties where he can to look for them, along with trying to combine any searches for Lilja in the process. He'll still be annoying and cool as a cucumber during this whole time period, but probably more prone to trying to get under other people's skin to make them snap. Key Points: Still doing his thing but with slightly more tension than usual.
Jen Zhou: Currently in Thunder River. As she's been there for a while, Jen has a steady routine going. She'd be willing to join in with the plan to escape and would be willing to help. She doesn't get herself in any sticky situations if she can help it, but they tend to happen, so lots of potential for her to annoy, get into an accidental fight whatsoever. Key Points: I think she's just vibing the best someone can in the camp tbh LOL my muse isn't the strongest for her.
Tryggr Aarle: Is more focused on finding his sister than anything else. He is also spending time helping the Visser's slow moving plan, and he's helping Skadi and Torben with making new weapons and armory for their pack and coven. Key Points: Still chill, nothing bothers him. Every thread would be easy as Hell.
Suna Varland: In Thunder River. She's more or less accepted the situation she's in but is willing to join what it takes to escape, as long as it doesn't mean the wolves with her are risked. She will be against Runa joining the escape plan but ultimately has no choice but to let her do what she wishes as she's a Visser. Key Points: Would be interesting to see her working with people, as she isn't a compliant or easy personality.
Astrid Alfsson: Will be quite clearly on edge because of Egil missing, and will be willing to go on searches to help find him. She has potential of being quite difficult if she can't get on the searches, or viewing the work she has to do around the town as pointless, and unable to see the bigger picture. Key Points: Still easy to interact with and a burst of energy so anything goes.
Imogen Ashford: Will be keeping her head down with the Belcourts, as always remaining completely impartial to the happenings around her. As she's a messenger there's potential of her getting involved in a lot too, but she probably won't voice opinions about the 3 day grace period, or the work needed around the town. She'll be focused on what's happening in her coven, but really is reluctant to make any precise thought known about the situation with Felix. Key Points: Not written her yet so she's just vibing but this might change LOL
Marcellus Hart: Will be working with the Vaismans to search for Kenzie and Allie and other missing members. He will have voiced opinions against the 3 day grace period, but he's a nice guy, it'd be a nice conversation. Other than that, he'll be working around the town and helping wherever he can. Key Points: Not written him yet so things may change but also see him just vibing.
Trick, Oskar, Lexi and Dexter have more closed plot specific things happening in this Chapter so not included.

Name: Egil Jansen
Age & Birthday: 27 years old, September 29th 1994
Gender/Pronouns: cis man he/him
Birthplace: White River, Colorado
Time in Hollow Cove: 1 week (January 2024)
Species: Werewolf - Visser Pack
Role: Runner / Soldier
Positive personality traits: Reserved, Courageous, Observant
Negative personality traits: Impulsive, Weak-Willed, Fickle
ABOUT
As the youngest Jansen brother, Egil was destined to be the Jansen pup and with it, to always strive to prove otherwise. He endured the same harsh and cruel training as every Jansen wolf, and he unleashed the same savagery when in combat. Some might see him as a hidden threat, as he is usually the most silent away from the battlefield. Egil is a reserved and keen observer of the world and the people around him, always tagging along with his brothers. But he is no less mischievous than them, often times proving why it was foolish to ever underestimate him or even to think of him as a friend.
Egil's desire to prove himself is exactly what makes him dangerous, more so than any training for how he fights. There have been many moments throughout his life that he has been untrustworthy, willing to throw anybody into the firing line in order to save himself. Apart from his brothers, of course. He follows all of them willingly, eager to learn from them and eager to embody their traits. Egil can be something of a mimic too, choosing which brother's personality to wear when the moment needs it. This has caused many to claim it's hard to read Egil, he has no sense of self and no sense of soul. He's weak-willed and can be easily influenced one way or another, but then the Jansen wolf shines through and shows that he was only following along until he could be victorious.
When the war was brought to Visser pack territory, Egil didn't hesitate to fight in an attempt to protect their homes. During the two days of the invasion, he was injured and captured alongside his oldest brother and other wolves and he has remained with them since escaping in 2021.
Egil has had no issues following his brother Skoll while they search for Nanna, keeping other wolves in check that question choices. But, he is also growing tired of them. Tensions have risen on a few occasions between the brothers, with Egil more determined to widen searches to other members of the pack. But he has stood beside Skoll, unblinking when they've marched into dangerous situations and often times seen other wolves with them captured again or killed.
