A good friend recently asked me what I saw as iconic Dutch music and what I would play a foreigner to make them understand.. my knowledge of Dutch music doesn’t go that far, but we’ve had some iconic genres over the years from Dutch electronics to Nederhop (Dutch hiphop) to the Dutch chansons. There is so much, but our language probably just sounds shit to an outsider making it impossible to listen to. Anyway, here some classic Dutch 90’s songs I grew up with.
