Nano Puppy

This one got off to an interesting start. I had received my Puppy about a month ago off of ebay from a seller who had mailed it to me with fresh batteries. I took it out of the pack, and sure enough, there was a puppy waving at me with his hobosack in arm, bidding me farewell. (apparently they can take 5 whole days of abuse before leaving? wow.) At the time, I just took the batteries out and put it with the rest. (I had forgotten these guys have three screws in the back!) When I started it up again, I noticed that it wasn't.. starting up. I checked the batteries and the positioning, but couldn't get it going. After some fiddling, I figured out that I had put the batteries in completely wrong. For future reference: it's Positive, Negative (face up).

I love the heart animation instead of an egg (or.. anything else), and it only takes a minute to.. be born! Note: circle is the cancel/clock button, left arrow scrolls left through icons, right arrow scrolls right through icons, and square is the confirm button.

These are the Status screens. In order of appearance, you have: age/weight, discipline, hunger, and happiness. Although there are three hearts shown, there is a hidden fourth small heart you can fill as well.

After taking care of hunger and happiness (I wonder if I can feed my real puppy lemonade? haha) I took care of the leftover discipline hearts. All you have to do is discipline, even if they've done nothing wrong. Kind sad ): though played more games to make up for it.

I had forgotten what the sleeping picture looks like-- it's so cute! Note: you can wake up your puppy while it's sleeping! I had left it alone for two hours, so it's hunger hearts were empty. I woke it up using the discipline icon and fed him. After about 2 minutes of inactivity, he goes back to sleep again. Very handy!

Here's a prototype for a Rainblade combo I'm thinking of having at Cons and listing on Etsy. This would be a way for people to snag everything all at once.
