The HoboKitty 1996- February 10th, 2020 A giant eared, gangly legged, big footed long tailed, yellow skeletal kitten 🐈 was discovered hitching a ride behind a head light assembly of an El Camino. My best friends husband was at a bank & heard a tiny weak mew sound at the drive thru. Couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. He drove home, he heard the mewing sound when he got out. He rescued this little hitchhiker and named him The HoboKitty. He was covered with engine grease & creosote. My best friend called me at work & I went over to help bathe and ATTMEPT to cut the creosote out from between his pink toe beans. Don’t happen. Had to wear off. He grew and grew and grew til he became a gentle giant 20 lbs. They were his 1st mom & dad, my ex & I were his 2nd. He had another surrogate dad for 2 years til he came to live our rest of his life at my home from 2016-2020. He developed an aggressive quick growing massive sinus cavity tumor that encompasses his right eye, outside nose, inside both nasal cavities. He started having seizures, labored breathing, and this past weekend, horrific pouring nosebleeds when he sneezed. I had to do the last kind act of love I could. I let him go at 2:30pm Monday afternoon. @malockhart13 went with me & @jacqueofay dug his grave and we all three buried him in my backyard. He will never have another uncomfortable day or night again. Everyone loved this big rabbit soft fur big footed love bug. He never met a stranger. Georgie and I love u so much Hobo. Georgie really is a butthole. He makes me cry every time he tries to hurt Bebe. All she wants to do is love him and be in the house with him and The HoboKitty. He won’t give her a chance. @iambronson has lost 10lbs since being adopted and having a controlled weight plan. The HoboKitty is skinnier than he was, but has not dropped 10 pounds. Lol 😂 He is just getting older and has lost weight, I think. I wanted to share their pix side by side because I think they favor a little bit. Don’t tell The Hobo, but Bronson is my secret crush. Wow. Today in 2012-> This is the day feral baby Georgie came back after being gone and presumed dead. He was gone 14 or more days. I decided right then and there we were keeping him. (He originally was thrown out of a car in the country w his sister. They were nursed & kept alive by a surrogate friendly feral mama cat that had 5 kittens of her own. His sister got ran over by a logging truck) Called Louie at work and told him I captured him and slung him in our enclosed porch. He ate TWO bowls of cat food in one sitting. His belly was full as a tick. He got into The HoboKitty cat bed like he lived there already. He was now home. Happy Gotcha Day, my Georgie. I Love you 😘 to pieces.
