3. Favorite TV show you discovered this year?

HBO’S CHERNOBYL WHICH I HAVE WATCHED APPROX 97 TIMES also i literally got HBO specifically so I could watch that series bc it’s one of my obsessions

1. Favorite book you discovered this year?

Not so much discovered as re-discovered, but I re-read David Sedaris’s entire bibliography (my family has been listening to Santaland Diaries LITERALLY since I was 6 months old, when it first aired, and I grew up with his audiobooks) and this year I read his diary collection Theft By Finding for the first time and it genuinely helped me make a few major mental health breakthroughs. I love that dude!

4. Favorite artist you discovered this year?

Again, not so much discovered as re-discovered, but I’ve had a few projects this year that happened to involve looking at a lot of Kehinde Wiley’s art so I’ve been thinking about him a lot this year, which makes me happy lol If this ask was supposed to be about musical artists, I re-discovered Man Man this year, and they’re prolly my favorite band atm

15. Favorite concert you´ve been to this year?

I don’t go to many concerts but I see a TON of ballet (maybe 10-12 shows a year?) and definitely my favorite of 2019 was Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal

92. Hobbiey you stared during this decade?

WALKING. I go on old lady walks around west Philly and take creepy photos of strangers’ houses bc I’m an architecture nerd

Not really

7. Favorite memory of this year? All of the backstage shenanigans during Cabaret and Pride and Prejudice. Love them theatre kids.

8. Favorite song this year? Okay it didn’t come out this year, but I’ve been hooked on LA Devotee by P!ATD

27. Which was your happiest month? Why? Probably September, cuz we’d started dating, it was my birthday month, I went to see Beetlejuice the Musical and met Alex Brightman!

41. Which goals that you had for this year did you reach? I’ve gained more confidence in my art, which is something I’d been struggling with for years
