He seems friendly enough. I’m sure this will end well. Fake screenshot of Hoaxy-Coaxy/モーソーもんもん from Yo-Kai Watch 3 because I watched some Don Bluth films tonight with pretty orange/purple color palettes and got inspired. Been meaning to draw him for *months*. I mean, look at him. He’s a big scary nightmare monster beast that both eats people...and is also a giant dork that wears thick glasses and gets his feelings hurt.

"Eehehehehe~ Go on~ Say it." "....what's updog." Ringing in the new year with these two. Hoaxy-Coaxy annoying his more movie-inclined offspring because he’s a dork like that. @jinmenkennel did the very rough sketch of this a couple months back and I liked it so much I tightened it up and colored it.

Some explanation to these doodles: I headcanon that Moso Monmon is Mr. Movien’s father and that his wife is the Mushroom Lady NPC in YKW3 that practices mushroom hypnotism. Because what a better way to explain why Mr. Movien is so strange and powerful than by saying he was created from a Twin Peaks reference and a reality warping dream creature. It’s a very strange yet lovable family where it’s hard to say which one of them is the weirdest. And every member of said family has a funny cloud-shaped afro.
