finding it frustrating how certain queer soap couple fans constantly repeat that any and all queer relationships on other soaps are just attempts to pander to their fanbase when like, newsflash, but queer soap couples (and very popular ones at that) existed before your personal favourites came along and they will (thankfully) continue to exist whether your fandom likes them or not

#like im just tired #i've seen several people now claim lucas and dillon were written to cater to ex fans of other couples when like #ho has a very long and varied history of successful queer relationships on their show #and literally none of those had anything to do with the large modern era queer pairings #who i have nothing against by the way!!!
