oh I can definitely go for this, the absolute vagueness of what the apocalypse actually *is* is definitely a tack i took because of you; I'd never really considered that approach before tbh but it's so FUN to dance around the topic, it gives it a sense of constant dread or wondering and maybe more weight than it would have if the events were actually described.

and Dany would absolutely find herself in a place like that taken-over mall/complex or whatever like where... Layla, I want to say? ended up. tbh I think Dany would probably get along with your Layla actually bc they do have somewhat similar vibes, except for where Layla took a pretty dark turn for a while, Dany's take on that is a lot more of an act.

idk I just like the idea that your apocalypse-verse, which is a MAJOR inspiration for me in general bc the vibes and the stories and the way you write it all... hnngbdjsndsj it's my FAVORITE... are all just SO amazing and so important to me, like rent hecking free in my head at all times, is in the same universe as my story shdjdndkssk. like...I'm grinning so huge rn I'm honored that you think of it like this ☺

See in my mind my apocalypse-verse and @swinging-stars-from-satellites 's crosscountry apocalypse are the same apocalypse she's just dealing with how it went down in North America and all of mine are set in the UK
