Real Title: Hyakka Ryouran (A Sea of Lanterns) ❈ Although it’s my intention to refer this song to the one astounding festival in Nara (picture below), actually according to the fan assumption (Source / Translation); looks like this song has an implication to the artist’s hometown, Fukushima, which also hosts the “Tōrō Nagashi” where people will light and float the lanterns down the river or the ocean in order to commemorate for their lost ones. Meanwhile, both of these festivals are the ceremonies held around the days of Obon —The traditional Buddhist holidays dedicated to honor ancestral spirits and pay respect to the dead. ❈ Also to people who follow paralive, are you perhaps familiar with this voice?
