the next bokumono game to get a remake is probably going to be hmds/cute based on evidence of it's part of a semi trilogy with the other two that got remakes and it has music in the picross game and there's a not-so-hidden record in the wonderful life remake of its title music and when it does i will be intolerable bc ive wanted a remake of that specific game for over a decade but anyway the point im trying to get to is i wonder if they'll get rid of the poker game

i went to japan a couple months ago, and got to stay inn the country side, absolutely beautiful and really helped solidify the harvest moon games in my head.

but, growing up in rural america really affected my perception of ds cute and forget-me-not valley, because like all of the skye interactions i pictured happening while he was being held at gun point.

some of my fav hmds ships, expect daryl and leia they're just there, and me being a hardcore fan of rock since age 10

which was rough, guys. until the remake everyone hated rock so i had to prepare myself mentally every time i posted art of him to get really gross comments. glad his favorability switched but it's dizzying at times

Maybe the real biggest thing getting in the way of a Harvest Moon DS remake is that they'd have to name it from scratch. The Harvest Moon name is unavailable, and it wouldn't be for the DS, so... what's left? (Maybe they could squeeze the word Cute in somewhere?)

And it really sucks, because I'd really like to play a version of the game that actually functions. I tried, once. My save corrupted the second week of spring. Please give me a game where I can go mining and trust the villagers will still be there when I come out.

Maybe I'm doing the math wrong, but it seems like in hmds/cute, planting two bags of seeds on top of each other so you get lvl 2 crops is worth it even without the seedmaker, since those crops are worth more than 2x the regular lvl 1 crops. Would love to hear from others, im just going from the ushi no tane x6 site
