giggling and shitting at this response. recently found out that wayne felt kind of weird/uncomfortable with shipping and i was gonna take back my statement just on account of that but this is clearly not what this was about.

Like ok, let me look at the ship itself and for a moment let's put aside wayne's averseness to shipping: is gordon not... an adult? is gordon freeman not... a grown ass man? a grown ass man with a job at black mesa who has made grown ass man decisions like kill innocent people? Is dating an old man truly the worst that gordon freeman could do with the free will of being a Grown Ass Man given the hypothetical they both consent? Does the age gap negate him being a grown ass man, for now he is an infant incapable of consenting to that????? Because quite frankly the vibe I got from HLVRAI is that if anyone's nonsensical and pretty immature it's probably every member of the science team except for gordon (ofc gordon has his moments but to be fair the science team is extremely infuriating at Many Times)

Am i missing something, like in HLVRAI gordon freeman is fresh out of highschool or he freshly turned 18?
