I got huge inspiration to write about my MC’s parents and I wanted to visualize how they’d look like - I’m kinda proud of how they turned out!! 

In my head, my MC’s father was born a Squib and disowned by his pureblood family. He managed to build a successful life and married a muggle woman. Kind of debating whether or not to make the dad part of a known wizard family or leave it as unknown. He took his wife’s family name to finally distance himself from his past, but as his daughter began showing the signs of magic, he didn’t know how to take it.

How does your mc and Sebastian get together?

Well, to be honest, I haven't thought about it that much, really :'DD But I like to imagine it'd go somehow like this;

They'd be in their 6th or 7th school year. It's quite obvious that Sebastian likes MC in more ways than a friend, but MC is stalling even though she's been absolutely smitten with him since the 5th year. (her friends are getting annoyed with her cause sometimes MC says 'yeah imma go and just say it that I 'like' like him' but then she always chickens out, making her friends want to shake her and shout 'SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT'.)

Also Sebastian's probably feeling really confused with the way MC's acting, like. He hasn’t been subtle about himself that he's interested?? And when he flirts with her, MC does flirt back at him??? But when he makes the move of asking her to go anywhere that is OBVIOUSLY a date, she goes all flustered and "HAHA YOU MEAN AS FRIENDS RIGHT??? HAHAHA" It’s very infuriating for him, to say the least.

Eventually, Sebastian would pull MC aside and go like "Listen, I don’t like this game anymore. It's annoying. I want you to just be honest with me; do you like me or not? Because if you don't, I'll quit chasing you." Which makes MC panic and go all "I do like you!" And after that Sebastian's even more confused why she'd be so adamant of not going on a real date with him, and after that MC would just confess that she's worried that if their relationship doesn't work out, they'd no longer be able to be friends.

After some persuasion, they agree to give it a try, with an attitude of as long as they're having a good time with each other, then that's enough.

Then they kiss, to seal the deal :3c

Then they kiss again, for good measure

Luckily nothing happened because Ominis accidentally walked in on them.

━ When she got in contact with a Dementor for the first time in one of her adventures, she was frozen in fear. The air around her went freezing cold, and everything good and happy in the world seemed to vanish. Looking straight at the dark creature in front of her, it felt like she was surrounded by terror and death. Her chest tightened and she felt like she couldn’t breathe. Terror filled her, and she didn’t want to guess what would have happened, if a villager didn’t cast a Patronus at it, driving the creature away. After this encounter, she was terrified of Dementors, and hoped she’d never have to come in contact with such foul creatures in her life.

I really wanted to make my MC fear Dementors, but the way she’d encounter one of them is a big question mark for me. I thought of maybe a rogue dementor???? But then again, when I tried to research do they even roam individually alone, I couldn’t find much. But I still wanted to draw her encountering a dementor, lol.

Nope! She asked Sebastian to cast it on her - but she did ask to learn the curse first. It was pointless for her to learn it though since she never used it after the Scriptorium.

Basically when Sebastian gave her the opportunity to learn the first Unforgivable, at first she was like "... Okay, well, maybe it won't hurt to know the curse, y'know, for the future. How bad can it even be? :)" then afterwards she was just "... Yeah it's bad, wtf. Hell no do I wanna use this in the future."

My MC's name is Susan Blair and she's a half-blood witch - her father's a squib and her mother's a muggle, and prior to starting at Hogwarts, she had no idea about a Wizarding World.

Small Trivia:

Susan was raised in middle-class family and she doesn't have the best relationship with her dad and she often butts heads with him, call it daddy issues if you want 🤣

her father comes from the Crouch family and they cut him off when they found out he was a Squib. Due to this, Susan doesn't know her paternal side of her family, and they don't know about her.

her birthday is 28th of November.

Susan has a strong moral code and has a tendency to be quick-tempered and cold if you hurt her feelings.

she has never travelled outside of United Kingdom and her aspiration is to travel around the world.

she doesn't have any siblings but she has a lot of cousins from her mother's side.

she also has an older cousin from her father's side who was at Hogwarts the same time as her, but they were never aware of each other's existence.

she's closest to Natty since they were able to bond over being new students starting out in a new school, and Susan chose her to go to Hogsmeade with.

lil’ headcanon that Sebastian knows how to do braids - Anne force-taught him  when they were younger so she could have him braid her hair. 

And a lil’ drabble under the cut.

Susan’s (MC) hair was static-y and she was visibly annoyed as the trio was hanging out. Sebastian noticed this, got up from his seat and started to braid her hair, while he kept explaining his stuff. Susan at first was more like ‘HUH???’ but then started to absolutely RELISH at the feeling of someone playing with her hair. (anything that Sebastian was talking went right over her head at that moment.)

How does your mc react to Sebastian killing his uncle? Would love to hear your take on it

This also accidentally turned out to be like a deep-dive into their relationship, so sorry anon.

I guess I should say first that my MC lived in Muggle world, with no touch of Wizarding world before Hogwarts, so she was quite clueless with all the different 'forbidden' spells and stuff. So, when she met Sebastian and he was like 'yeah some people think these spells are dangerous, but I think they are neither good or evil, they're just tools', my MC was like '... ok I trust ur judgement, ur the one who's been living in this world longer than me anyways.'

As the story progressed, she was uncomfortable with some of the spells Sebastian used, and chose to never learn the Unforgivables, but still wanted to help him find a cure for Anne. She did occasionally mentioned Sebastian that 'ok y'know some of these spells are kinda fucked up, maybe we shouldn't get used to using them??' but, as we know, those warnings went into deaf ears. (she kind of sided with Ominis, but still understood Sebastian's stance on saving his sister.)

When Sebastian killed his uncle, my MC was really distraught of what happened. She kind of even felt guilty of enabling Sebastian chase that relic, and she was feeling a mix of emotions - anger, disappointment, shame, etc. But when she saw how Sebastian was truly regretful of his actions, she felt torn. Sebastian was still her friend and while he definitely deserved a punishment for his actions, she didn't want to ruin his life.

When they had a talk with Ominis of whether or not they'd turn Sebastian in or not, I'd say they thought about it for a long time - before settling with not to send him to Azkaban. Azkaban was permanent, irreversible punishment for a tragedy that shouldn't have happened. "An accident," she wanted to believe it was. Then again, she also remembered that 'to perform an unforgivable, you really have to mean it.'

So, after what happened in the catacomb, she wanted to kind of... distance herself from Sebastian at first. In my mind, the questline happened before the main storyline's ending, so she was quite distant, wanting to clear her head and her mental turmoil at first before she could talk with Sebastian again. Also, she had those trials to deal with so they kept her busy and were a good reason not to talk with him, even if Sebastian asked.

After Professor Fig's death, they kind of had a heart-to-heart. I don't think it was that easy for either of them, both were hurt about what happened in the school year, but they managed to get into an understanding of some sort. It was a long talk, and there were definitely tears from both ends. It kind of made their bond a bit stronger.

TLDR; In the beginning, my MC was mad and upset, and wanted to distance herself from Sebastian, but after Fig's death, they had a talk and kind of??? became friends again??? but with both of them having a bit of a healing to do y'know. Taking things slow in a sense of a friendship continuing.
