Happy birthday, Shiki! Initially I was planning to continue with tsukihana kagura, but since I saw Shiki’s bday was approaching and I had this translation already at hand, I said I could post this instead. Many thanks to Ryota for helping me proof this. Please don’t repost/retranslate/reuse my translations.
Track 1: It’s time for a coffee break.
Track 2: Could you take my order?
Track 3: On the eighth day, God created coffee.
Track 1: It’s time for a coffee break.
Shiki: -closes door and drops bag- Hm. I got off early. I was actually expecting to pass out after what I went through today, but well.
Dai: -knocks on the door- Shiki, are you free for a bit?
Shiki: Dai, huh. -walks towards the door and opens it- What is it?
Dai: Welcome back. Now that I think about it, you’re back earlier than expected.
Shiki: Yeah, I’m back. The meeting went unusually smoothly. 
Dai: But as expected, you’re still very busy.
Shiki: Obviously, there’s always something to work on if I put my mind to it. Though, judging by your tone, I guess there’s something you want to talk to me about. 
Dai: Uhm,  I’m looking for a shop with good coffee…
Shiki: Coffee? Ah. Is it by chance because of that canned coffee?
Dai: Yeah. My image character’s job. There are some things I have to do for an event this campaign and I was told one of them would be making drip coffee in front of people. They said it'd be an image boost if it looked as genuine as possible. ...Though, I don’t know much about coffee to begin with. 
Shiki: I see. So your plan is to start from zero and learn about coffee, huh. Quite the diligent guy. 
Dai: That’s because between studying and trying to make the perfect impression in a domain you know nothing about, the second option is harder.
Shiki: Hm. That aspect is one of your good points. I see where you’re coming from. If you're fine with me, I can demonstrate how to make drip coffee.
Dai: Actually, about that… I checked in the kitchen earlier and we’re out of coffee beans.
Shiki: Now that you mention it, I emptied the canister yesterday evening. Sorry.
Dai: It’s fine, I don’t mind it. Since I have some free time right now, I was thinking of going to buy beans and maybe stopping somewhere for a cup of good coffee. 
Shiki: Hm… If that’s the case, how about having some coffee together?
Dai: … Eh? Is that okay? 
Shiki: I got two free hours in my schedule, so I was wondering what to do anyway. Plus, it’s rare for you to come to me directly and ask for advice about work. It’s not a bad thing to take my role as senior seriously once in a while.

Track 2 and 3 have been lying in my drafts for a few weeks already, and now that I’m done with Tsukihana Kagura, I can finally post them. I’m also done with exams and started my second term, so I’ll try to work on the SolidS drama CDs, probably one track per weekend.

Shiki: Even so, making drip coffee in front of people? You must be rather nervous. 
Dai: -sigh- You say that, but you passed this on to me.
Shiki: Hmm?
Dai: Don’t play dumb. I heard from Haiduki-san that this offer was originally meant for you. 
Shiki: That blabbermouth…
Dai: But still, why did I end up being casted? You’re more than capable of making drip coffee, Shiki.
Shiki: You may say that, but at this point I think everyone knows I have a thing for coffee. Casting me wouldn’t have been much of a surprise.
Dai: Ah, indeed.
Shiki: And personally, I thought a garçon apron would suit you. I wanted to see you wearing one.
Dai: That’s a sketchy reason…. Plus, if that’s all you wanted, Rikka would have been better for the job. 
Shiki: The concept of the product is ‘authentic coffee’. Their target audience is half women and half men. If the concept were, let’s say, a gorgeous Parisian terrace for young ladies, Rikka would have been indeed more than qualified. But what they want this time is the ‘authentic coffee’ image, someone who is taciturn and unrefined. Knowing that, you were the first to come to my mind, Dai. Are you dissatisfied with my answer?
Dai: No… well, I’m happy if that’s the case, though…
Shiki: And also, the coffee you make is not bad at all, Dai. I remember you preparing some for us as refreshments. Your coffee is somehow unique.
Dai: Smooth words make smooth ways. You put a lot of effort into our music, so I thought of giving you support in my own way, despite being awkward at showing it.
Shiki: That’s definitely something Tsubasa would say. 
Dai: Was it that obvious? But I still meant it when I said I wanted to show you my appreciation.
Shiki: Hm, is that so?
Dai: That’s why I think there are also some things I want to learn properly now that I have this kind of opportunity. If I manage to improve my skills, I’ll be able to prepare you better coffee for those times when you’re busy.
Shiki: That makes me happy. I’m already looking forward to your future refreshments. Then let’s start by getting used to the taste of coffee. Do you want to try drinking it without milk and sugar first?
Dai: Sure, but... it'll probably be bitter, right...?
Shiki: Hmpf. Coffee is not only bitter, it’s also surprisingly subtle. Nobody’s going to force you to drink an exact amount, but how about giving it a try? There are beans out there that smell fragrant like citrus and some that taste so sweet you wouldn’t think they came from plums.
Dai: Can you tell them apart, Shiki? That um… citrus and stuff…?
Shiki: If you keep drinking more frequently, you’ll be able to tell the fragrance and the taste that it leaves in your mouth. ...I guess?
Dai: Only a guess is all you can give me?
Shiki: You know that already, don’t you? I may like coffee, but I’m not obsessed with it. There's no doubt that carefully made hand-dripped coffee is delicious, but when I don’t have time I can live with simply just canned coffee. My tolerance level is high. 
Dai: So in those moments, rather than saying you want coffee, it’s more like you don’t have enough caffeine?
Shiki: Harsh.
Dai: See? You can’t deny that.
Shiki: I guess. Though lately the canned coffee’s been pretty good actually. The flavor profile is not overbearing and being simple is their strong point.
Dai: Ah, I see. The one who’s supposed to convey that is my role, right? 
Shiki: Yeah.
Dai: I think I... can feel the scent of coffee.
Shiki: You’re not wrong. The shop we’ve been looking for is in the back of this alley. This way.

Dai: I didn’t know there was a shop in such a place. 
Shiki: That’s because you need to walk a few steps away from the main street to reach this alley. Only connoisseurs know about this specialty shop and the coffee beans they sell.
Dai: Everything lined up on these shelves is coffee? That’s amazing.  
Shiki: Well then, which should we get today?
Dai: Do you have a favourite kind?
Shiki: I drink what I feel like drinking from time to time, and like I said a while ago, my tolerance level is pretty high, so I have an array to choose from. Well, if I were to pick favorites, I prefer the more bitter ones. I love those that are deeply roasted, too.
Shiki: Okay, I’ve decided. Dai, wait for me on that counter seat for a bit. -walks away-
Dai: Roasting… he said. -pulls out phone and types- Roast... … He was talking about roasting the coffee beans. It's what determines the flavour's lightness and darkness degree. Light-roasted ones are more acidic. If they're dark-roasted ones they’re more bitter. I see.
-Shiki walks to him-
Dai: Ah, welcome back. Hm? What’s with that coffee?
Shiki: If you buy beans they give you one cup of coffee for free. It’s delicious. First of all, try sniffing the scent. 
Dai: -inhales- Oh… it smells kind of sweet. Despite being black. 
Shiki: I see you get what I mean. You may have a feel for this.
Dai: You don’t have to praise me for something this small. Though it’s kinda strange for coffee to have this kind of scent. 
Shiki: The flavour and the aroma change depending on the type of beans and how they are roasted. Interesting, right? 
Dai: Aren’t you too enthusiastic for someone who’s not obsessed with coffee?
Shiki: I’m just looking over what seems interesting to me. For now I’m trying to enjoy this as lightly as possible. At one point, I tried to roast them by myself at home though… do you see that? That big machine in the back is a roasting machine. I seriously thought of buying one in the past. 
Dai: You can’t really bring something like that inside the dorm.
Shiki: ...When they told me there would be other people in the dorm, I gave up. I can do it in a frying pan if anything. Though, considering that beans tend to split open with force, the stove gets dirty and cleaning it afterwards is a pain. The smoke filling the room is even more of a problem. 
Dai: You really tried that… didn’t you?
Shiki: Yeah. I tried it without much thought before and they thought it would start a fire so it turned into a huge issue. So taking into account the result, the time and the risks, I came to the conclusion that watching the process was a better alternative. Well, we’ll talk more about that issue later. Take a sip from this. 
Dai: Okay. -blows steam and sips- Eh? Now that I think more, it’s not bitter. It’s kind of smooth. Something similar to black tea. 
Shiki: If that feels light, you can easily drink black coffee.
Dai: Yeah. Also, it’s not really hot.
Shiki: You do need to pour boiling water over black tea, but for coffee it’s different. If the temperature is too high, too much coffee will be released and the taste will be unpleasant.
Dai: Eh? Hot water can also change the taste?
Shiki: It’s a lot of work measuring and keeping an eye out on the temperature, but being conscious of it can help make delicious coffee. Though, it’s probably different from person to person.
Dai: -sips again- Having something like this every day at the dorms would be nice. It would be refreshing for the palate and also a good match for sweet things. 
Shiki: Making attempts with different roasting methods and beans through trial and error can get rather addicting. -sips- It’s good. Want to try mine?
Dai: Yeah. Let’s see. -sips and spits it back- Bitter...!! Aren’t these the beans you always buy? Those that taste like they’re horrible for your body.
Shiki: It’s a flavour meant for adults. 
Dai: Preference aside, I don’t think pouring this into your body all night long seems like a good thing. -sits up- I’ll go buy the beans they used for preparing my cup and then we can go back. Tell me which one it was.
Shiki: Alright. I got it. Let’s do that.

Here’s the last track from this drama CD. Thanks to this my youtube timeline will be filled with drip coffee tutorials... probably for a long time. Many thanks to Ryota for proofing this for me.
As for the SolidS drama CDs, I’ll try to work on them. Honestly it’s rather difficult handling both university and translations at the same time right now, this term having some complicated subjects prepared for me. I was thinking of going into hiatus for the rest of the term after I’m done with those two CDs.

Track 1: It’s time for a coffee break.

Dai: The water is boiling.
Shiki: Alright. Then, shall we start? First, pour hot water through the dripper into the server. Pour it as gently as possible. 
Dai: What about the coffee beans?
Shiki: Before that, we’ll be pre-heating the machine. That way we’re making sure the coffee’s temperature won’t drop after being poured.
-water is being poured-
Shiki: Next, take the filter and set it on the dripper. We can now take the coffee you bought earlier and put… yeah, I think around 20g is enough for the two of us. Make sure to measure it properly. 
Dai: Okay
-puts coffee over the filter-
Shiki: After being roasted, beans must be left alone for 2 to 3 days. They start releasing gas right after the process.
Dai: Eeh?
Shiki: That’s why if you want to drink coffee as soon as you buy it, it’s better to buy a pre-roasted package from the shop. Put some pressure on the corners so they're as flat as possible on the dripper.
-Dai flattens the ground coffee-
Shiki: Yeah, like that. When you’re done, throw away the hot water from the server.
Dai: Many of the steps are done in so much detail. I have to remember them until the event.
Shiki: Well, you can always have a look at your notes during your performance.
Dai: That could work. Though it'd be obvious from the way my hands are shaking that I’m not too familiar with these, so I’ll just say that you taught me.
Shiki: You can simply tell them honestly that your job happened to pick my interest. That sounds more like something you’d say. I’ll show you how to do the drip this time.
-picks kettle-
Shiki: You begin by pouring water over the ground coffee, and then you let it moisturize for around 30 seconds.
-Shiki pours water-
Dai: Oh, it expanded. Is this what you meant earlier when you said gas would be released?
Shiki: Yeah. The gas prevents the water from passing through, so it needs to be released before the actual process. After you’re done with the dripping, you should repeat pouring hot water for about three more times. Make sure that you do it in circles so that it won’t affect one part of the filter only.

Shiki: After you pour it the first time, it’s a good idea to start decreasing the amount of water you pour on the second and then third time.
Dai: When I watch you doing this it seems easy, but when I actually get the chance to do this myself, I have the feeling it would turn out to be difficult.
Shiki: You could say that. It may look difficult, but there are also some interesting parts to it. The way you pour water can sometimes change the taste.
Dai: Too many complicated things affect the taste...
Shiki: Hmpf. That’s what makes it interesting. Lastly, remove the dripper before all the hot water is drained. This is also so the taste doesn’t get too affected. That’s all.
Dai: It smells nice.

Dai: You’re treating me like I’m a brat.
Shiki: You’re still the youngest among us.
Dai: Shiki. You’re definitely having fun right now.
Shiki: That’s not a bad thing, right? Now’s the time to treat ourselves. Let’s taste the coffee before it gets cold.
Dai: Ah, wait a sec. Where did I put my phone?
Shiki: What’s up all of a sudden?
Dai: This. I thought of taking a picture of the coffee.
Shiki: That’s a strange thing for you to do.
Dai: I want to send this to Tsubasa and tell him you’re giving me a treat.
