So i got re-tagged by @unseelie-robynx to talk more about one of our other homebrew'd lmk next gen but several centuries later' characters (also i'm not re-tagging cuz there should be SOME surprises in this AU sequel lmao)

So as promised here's our currently unnamed Bestie Character of the Lost Princess AU

Now her story is much less complicated in describing how she got here, very simply, there are forms of magical conception available to Yaoguai, and long and short of it- she's a Cyberhunt kid.

So basically after Huntsman had gotten his brain back after being the Rebellion Martyr when his sting in mind-jail was abruptly ended by Syntax going 'nah fuck this' and saving him maybe before what would have been considered a safe time to do so, the two grew closer until ultimately getting together.

And since for magical 'a fertility goddess decided she likes them' reasons she basically said 'so spiders have REALLY HIGH infancy mortality rates for some sort of glitch in biology, but i'm a fertility goddess so fuck that y'all can have as many kids as you want'

so they had a BUNCH

And Ya Girl Here is one of the younger ones (the spider brood are many in number but for the most part mature at a rate relative to humans and then just clip to spider aging once they hit their prime so it's p. easy to sort of just, make it a steady clip) and is very much her fathers' daughter. Quite adept at magitech as it's developed over the years, she's the resident know-how in the group.

her weapon of choice is a sort of 'kinda a kusarigama' type thing where she'll take bladed weapons and then attach them to lines of spider silk to turn into ranged weapons. it's fun.

She met Zhenjun in college when they both ended up in the Cheer Team (yes the hero group is a bunch of cheerleaders) and is the single braincell of the group

Lmfao Jonas really said this about big John they literally didn’t know if they would make him permanently dead or bring him back and how they took a risk giving him a huge role in season 3 because they didn’t think he could do it??? And now the whole audience is saying they hated how he had such a big role and he was boring but Jonas said the risk paid off because he was excellent??? Like that makes me worried for the writers perception of things “Jonas Pate: No. We met Charles and we just really liked him. He’d only been in two scenes when he’s in the Season 2 finale. We knew he would have a huge, huge role in Season 3. His performance for the season was just amazing. He brought so much to it and we would’ve been screwed [if the risk didn’t pay off]. We kind of took a chance on him because we didn’t really know if he could do the whole thing, and then he just delivered. But meeting him and talking with him, we just realized, “Holy... we should use him.”

I saw him saying this and I am choosing to ignore it lmao!! As a fan of Jonas I’m happy he’s proud of what they made, but I also think there’s no way he won’t realize no one liked the big john plotline. I hope… like it seems like he took note of how badly we received the gator etc because that type of stuff wasn’t in S3 every episode. And my problem wasn’t the plotline itself but the AMOUNT of it. I actually like the idea for the sake of John B’s character. We just got WAY too much of it.

The only thing I’ve seen people overwhelming like was Rafe, Jiara, and Cleope. And everyone wants more pogues, even people who don’t have the same ships.

SMH I SOMEHOW MISSED THIS ONE THANKS TUMBLR ah but yes he 100000% has a type and it is. unfortunately. pretty toxic :,) he likes people who are smarter than him, regal and well-spoken, sarcastic or acerbic or otherwise just assholes. if someone insults his speech, he’s already smitten. someone who can talk circles around him, or holds themselves with a certain air of pompousness and pride, or in general thinks themselves better than creighton in any way, he falls very easily for. it’s all kind of a trauma response, since over time all the people who claimed to love him, whether romantically or otherwise, treated him horridly and belittled him in some way or another, so he just kinda. y’know. learned to associate those things with love and affection. it’s pretty sad but hhh such is the way of things. at least things worked out with pate, who is 100% his type, so i mean hey

For Creighton; what would you say are some of his biggest regrets over the span of his life? Is there anything that he had ever wished to undo or do all over again if he could somehow do it?

ah hell what the fuck does creighton NOT regret… he’s the type of person who will do or say something and then a split second later go “ohhh i shouldn’t have done that😬” so like. if u were to pick a random decision he’s made out of a hat, most likely what you pull out is gonna be something he wishes he could do over again or take back

specific examples, biggest offenders, i mean trying to kill pate for one LMAO. you could also say, before that moment, getting involved with him at all was one of his biggest regrets he had wished to undo. worked out in the end, but at what fkin psychological cost y’know. the massacre that got him outcasted, the one that got him executed, all big regrets he wishes he could undo. listening to the bullshit his parents and mentors had drilled into his head as a child. spending so much time wandering rather than settling down and enjoying people and their company. it’s funny (not in the ha-ha way) to think that every decision he’s made that defines what he is, whether internally or externally, is something he looks back on with regret. he regrets becoming who he is. most of the time he wishes, though in a cowardly way, that he could just do everything over again and just be someone else entirely

but i mean u kno butterfly effect and all. if someone gave him the actual opportunity to start life over while keeping the knowledge he’d gained from This Lifetime he’d nope the fuck out. all the good things he’s got also came from the bad decisions he’s made, too, after all. pain and anguish and hatred and regret and bad bad bad not good is also what introduced him to his friends, his spouse, got him a home and pets and covenant and overall security and comfort and LOTS of good things. so it’s a candle without a wick, really. he regrets everything, but is too equal-parts-terrified-and-content to do anything about it, metaphorically or otherwise
