I actually like this one, it's a little long but I made the reader badass asf.

It's not the most realistic, but which fic ever is?

You stood at the entrance of the bigdeal streets. According to your calculations, he should be here soon. You were in charge of all the money statistics in the crew and you knew the amount was falling short. You knew he would visit sooner or later.

His entrance was right on cue, as if you summoned the devil himself. It wouldn't be beneath him to be the incarnation of the devil either. So the aim wasn't far off.

"We need to talk." If gun had as much as seen your face before he would've thought you both knew eachother. "And who are you?" He stopped right in front of you, holding his umbrella, shielding him from the rain. You couldn't say the same with your wet clothes and hair matting up, falling flat in its place.

"that doesn't matter. But I can't let you meet jake. Not when I know what the conversation is going to be about."

"so you know." He said, dropping his cigarette and putting it out with his foot. "I wondered who was in charge of all the finances after Samuel left. Guess that's you."

You bit the inside of your cheek, so much for being a secret. "I'm not here to beat him up, you should've known that too." His dark eyes stared straight into your soul.

"I do. But it's not a good time to have that conversation either." You knew jake was under too much pressure, especially after whatever happened with sinu. This topic would only put more on his plate than there needs to be. Jake was like an older brother to you, and you tried your best to repay whatever kindness he paid you.

"unfortunately, I don't take orders from you." He took a step to the right, dismissing your presence. You move in front of him again, blocking his way. "Are you planning on fighting me? Even you should know that's a losing bet for you." He raised an eyebrow.

He was not phased by your determined stance. "Alright let's make this interesting. Land a hit on me and I'll leave. You have a minute." His voice had a daring tone.

"I'm extremely good at taekwondo, are you sure a hit is all I need?" Pretending to be tough doesn't always pan out, but it's still worth a try.

You took his silence as a yes. You knew your skills weren't nearly enough to even touch him, so you had to work around it. You needed more than simply brawns.

"predictable." His voice was bored when he blocked your kick. "Pathetic." It rang out again. He didn't even have to keep his umbrella down, the power gap was just that much.

He held your ankle right before it could hit his face. Using it to your advantage, you try to twist your way out of it. "You know it's no use-" He fell silent as a small *tak* sound was made.

His left his grip on your foot and brought his hand to his eye. "Was that a stone?" His voice grew louder. "Mh-hm. My aim is impeccable." You shrugged, a grin breaking out but it dropped just as quickly.

You ducked as his fist reached out to you. "Hey now. A deal is a deal. You said you'd leave if I land a hit. And I did. You didn't mention it had to be physical contact" You could tell he wasn't happy to hear that. "Joongoo would've approved of you" he mumbles. Before turning back.

He stops half way, "Next time we meet, I won't go easy." He says without looking back.

"Next time we meet, I'll bring a gun." (I mean like a pistol. Lol)

--- (few months in the future)---

You take a deep breath, preparing yourself to open the door. Knowing the devil is on the other side really made you not want to. Big deals monetary status hadn't improved much since the last time. And you knew the next visit by him wouldn't be just a warning.

So you thought of the only way this would play out in your favour was if you went to him before he came to you.

Finally opening the door to his office and making your entrance. "Missed me?" You grin, putting on your tough facade again.

He took a few seconds to register the scene before he spoke. "Not in the slightest." His tilted his head to look behind you, seeing a body laying unconscious. "So the taekwondo wasn't just a ruse?" He asked. "Maybe not" you shrugged.

"I kept our promise, you know." You dug into your pocket, bringing out a gun (a pistol) and lazily twirling it around your fingers. It didn't do much to change his expression. Rather it seems you intrigued him more.

"There's one bullet in this. And you know I won't miss. So hear me out." You demanded, a smirk laying on your face and you leaned forward against his table. "Give big deal some more time."

He leaned back on his chair. "And why would I?"

"Or I'm the only one walking out of this room alive."

He smirks, "what do you have up your sleeve this time? You couldn't have just walked into the lions den without a plan?" Gun was more interested in your guts to stand against him rather than worry if it would be his last. He knew it wouldn't be.

"Of course." You smile. "If a big deal member takes out the infamous 'gun'. Big deal would make too many enemies. Stronger ones even. So you see, I left big deal three days ago." His eyebrow arched in surprise. But his silence urged you to continue.

"I left a note and everything." Your hand flailed in the air. "In these three days, I met with your precious leaders of the other crews."

"If you die today. The entire workers affiliate would come to aid bid deal if your acquaintances still manage to pin the blame on big deal. That little nerd with specs? He seemed too enthused to get rid of you." You twirled the pistol in your hand again.

Gun smirked, it gave off creepy vibes which almost made you lose your confidence. "God dog? He didn't seem too inclined to make a deal. He's got that lone wolf drama going on. But I know he wants to get rid of you too and he doesn't like being in-debt to anyone. He'd come to the rescue if the problem ever rises."

"Olly." You sighed. "He was a little tough to convince. But the second i mentioned Eli Jang, he was on board." Gun's expression turned serious at the mention of Eli's name. "And guess what?" You smiled wider. "I have a lead on his whereabouts."

"You're lying." Gun straightened himself. "Or am I?" You challenge him with a grin.

"So, what's your decision. The balls in your court now." You stood up straight, aim the gun(pistol) where his stone cold heart should be.

"You won't pull the trigger." He laughs.

"why not?"

"I see your hand trembling. You don't have the guts."

"or was it all an act." As if on the cue of your words, your hand steadies itself, moving to aim at his head now. "Oh, and if you think you fight i won't be able to shoot you." You throw a decorative piece from his table up in the air and shoot a bullet hitting it perfectly causing it to disintegrate in the air. "My aim? Impeccable. Even on moving objects."

"Didn't you say the gun had only one bullet?" He raised an eyebrow. "Or was that a lie?" You say, bringing back the gun and aiming it at this head. "So, your answer?"

"I shouldn't have called you Samuels replacement. You're better." He grins creepily again. "How do I know you're not lying about making deals with the other crews?"

"you don't." You smile. "It's up to you to risk it."

He laughs, "You've impressed me. I'll give big deal 2 months."

"Make it four and I might let you in on the lead about Eli Jang."

"Alright."

---(few weeks in the future)---

"How did you know you'd find me here?" You said lighting a cigarette. "Where else would you be other than the big deal streets. It had to be a lie that you left the crew." He said, stepping out of the dark.

"it was." You smile, the cigarette hanging between your lips. Taking it out and passing it to him, you blew out smoke.

He accepted the cigarette, leaning against the alley wall beside you. It was silent for a while "What brings you here?" You looked at him from the corner of your eye. He dropped the cigarette and put out the butt. "You." He said and pushed himself off the wall.

"wha- before you could complete your sentence, he brought his lips against yours. His hand traveled under your ear bringing you closer. It was hard not to kiss back when it felt so intoxicating. You were convinced he was the devil, no one else could be this tempting.

You pulled away to breathe, but he pulled you back to him. Pushing you into the wall with rough hands. He tasted like cigarettes, the addictive kind.

You took him up to your room that night after he snaked his hand under your shirt and you had no will to stop him. That gave rise to a 'no strings attached' agreement between the two. You made a deal with the devil.

---(three months in the future)---

"This ends the second you hurt jake." You said in between breaths. "Why." He shoved you against the wall harder, his hands pressed against your waist. "Are you talking about someone else when I'm right here." He bit down on your lower lip until you voiced out a moan. And he smirked in satisfaction.

Gun had come to grow accustomed to you, to your body. He knew what would make you moan or even scream. And he got accustomed to hearing your sounds more than he'd like to accept.

It had been a while since someone had impressed him like you did. He liked the danger, the thrill. He liked the sensation, he liked yo-

No, no he didn't. It is a 'foes with benefits' situation. That's it, nothing more nothing less. That's what gun told himself.

---(one month in the future)---

Gun stood in the rain. He just took care of jake and disqualified big deal.

For some reason, it felt heavy. Everything did. But mostly, it was his chest.

*tak* a small pebble hit him on the back of his head. He knew exactly who it was.

Another pebble followed, and then another.

He finally turned around and looked at you. Your eyes red, but no tears escaped them. You flicked another stone at him. Your last one. "Fuck you." You seethed

"That's exactly what you've been doing all this while." He smirks

"Go to hell." You hissed, turning your back to him. You couldn't stay there a second longer.

"That's exactly where I'll be going." He mumbled loud enough for you to hear. He looked at you, as your figure got smaller and smaller and finally merged with the horizon.

He clicked his tongue and himself left the place. But not before he bent down and picked a pebble you threw at him and shoving it into his pocket.

You should've known a deal with the deal would never end well.

I'd like to give thanks for episode 8x05. Oliver said it was his favorite and I can see why. It checks almost all the boxes of what I expect from the show. There are funny moments but also heartwrenching drama, not to mention exceptional costumes, make ups, and decorations. All in a single episode. Moreover, an episode usually highlights the abilities of one or two actors, but 8x05 showcased the skills of Aisha Hinds, Tracie Thoms, Oliver Stark, Lou Ferrigno Jr., and Ryan Guzman, all at once. This is quite a rare treat.

Aisha showed-off her acting skills in two back-to-back episodes. I was amazed by her monologue in 8x04, and once again by her acting while saving Denny's life in 8x05. I'd been sure there was no way Denny would be killed in 8x05, but the Hen and Karen's panic expressions, and Hen's trembling voice, made me worried for a good while. I think it doesn't matter if viewers have already known how the story will end. The way it's delivered is what matters the most. That's why we watch our favorite shows/episodes repeatedly.

The trio of Oliver, Lou, and Ryan worked wonderfully in sync. The timing of their banter is impeccable. I love the way Ryan delivered his lines when Eddie was treating Buck's boils. His intonation and punctuation was impeccable, including when he emphasized that the boils might be caused by stress. And his facial expression when Eddie couldn't see Buck in the face on the next day is a comedy gold.

All eyes have been on Lou since Tommy kissed Buck back in 7x04. And because this episode cemented Tommy's position as Buck's boyfriend (and hopefully, as end game romantic partner), his performance was dissected more than ever. We wanted to know whether he deserved the coveted place in Buck's life or not. There are clips, gifs, slow-motioned gifs, zoomed gifs, pictures, and zoomed pictures of Tommy taken from episode 8x05 circulated on Tumblr. Probably, even microbes are not scrutinized under microscopes as much as he was. And boy, how he delivered! His facial expressions and gestures showed a lot of what his lines didn't. Fans love the fond look he threw at Buck, the amused and disbelief look at Eddie, how he touched Buck's leg a little in the hospital, how he rolled his eyes when Buck told him he knew how to break the curse, his sleepy voice while he was waiting for Buck to close his laptop, and so on. If this was a test to be Buck's other half, Tommy has passed with flying colors.

Oliver is always a bit of enigma to me. Like Angela Bassett, I've never yet watched a scene where I thought he needed improvements. And 8x05 is no exception. It's delightful to watch him telling the lore of Billy Boils with such concerns. And the way he portrayed Buck's stubborness about the curse, makes viewers fond of Buck instead of being annoyed by him. It is also fun to notice little details in Oliver's acting. Fans have watched with delight in previous episodes how Buck's shoulders slumped after he took care of the bees, and how Buck waved to the phone when Chimney was taking Maddie's call about Athena's plane emergency. In this episode, we caught the detail of how Buck winced in pain while he was trying to sit when Tommy visited him in the hospital. I always wonder, which ones of those details were directional, which ones were planned ahead by Oliver, and which ones were improvised on the spot. Oliver always acts which such ease, as if every scene is natural. Sometimes I just realized that his acting must be not that easy, when I watched other actors stumbled while acted on similar scenes or deliver similar lines. It is clear that Oliver Stark is extremely talented. I often wonder where's the talent ends and the hard work begins.

I also want to thank the people who have worked on the decorations, backgrounds, wardrobes, and make-ups on 8x05. Details on the Firehouse Haunt Fest decorations are amazing, so are the costumes of the casts. I bet the team had a blast while working on this episode. Also, hats off to whoever made Billy Boils. That prop reminded me once again why I didn't choose medical program at the university.

We notice that the festivities were not only shown in the Halloween costumes. The outfits of the casts also reflected the autumn vibes. Special shout out to the team who dressed Maddie, Buck, Eddie, and Tommy, and who decorated Buck's loft. Those beautiful outfits and decorations are really pleasing in the eyes. Especially in the cemetery scenes, where Buck and Tommy looked very sharp in their suits. Some fans have used a screen shot of Tommy in the scene, with green leafs and bright sky in the background, as their wallpaper.

A special thank to Taylor Wong, the writer of 8x05. She briliantly wrote the different treatments Buck received from his boyfriend (Tommy) vs. his bestfriend (Eddie), without painting Eddie as the bad guy. Making Tommy and Eddie ganged up to roast Buck is also a smart move to show that Tommy and Eddie are best friends, and not secretly compete for Buck's love like some people imagine. And

Lastly, a bunch of thanks to Christine Khalafian and Tim Minear, who have made this brilliant episode come to live. I cannot wait to watch the next one.

Marching Band au, what instrument does everyone play? (Main cast, but can include alphabets as well if you want)

Whenever Band AU comes up I admit that I always tend to lean towards Homra as brass and S4 as woodwinds. Homra definitely gives me brass section vibes, like imagine most of them with trombones and trumpets and such. Kamamoto definitely has a huge tuba or even a euphonium that he carries around while Yata has a trumpet that he thinks is the coolest thing. Kusanagi I could see having a French Horn, while the rest of the Homra alphabet handle the trombones and the rest of the brass. Mikoto it’s hard to see in a marching band anyway — too much movement, not enough napping — but maybe he has a trumpet also, and particularly enjoys playing it loudly near Munakata. Totsuka wanted to be in marching band but maybe can’t handle an instrument so he’s just color guard (or he’s the guy who plans out all their choreography and doesn’t march).

S4 can handle all the reed instruments (well, unless Fushimi gets to use his precious triangle). Munakata I am somehow imagining with a saxophone, like everyone expects him to have some sort of elegant instrument but here he is being a total nerd with his sax. He is very skilled though and can do improv if needed, he’s also probably one of the most central members of the band due to his impeccable memorization skills. Maybe Fushimi plays saxophone as well, tenor to Munakata’s alto, while Awashima leads the clarinets (she would have liked to play saxophone but it’s easier to keep the clarinet steady between her boobs). 

Meanwhile Hakumaitou can be the flutes, Kuroh with the flute and Shiro with a piccolo (Neko joins Totsuka in the color guard). Jungle can be the percussion, Hisui can use his wheelchair with a drum on his lap to play. Yukari has beautiful cymbals which he uses to make lovely music while Sukuna just likes playing any drum he can get his hands on as loudly and wildly as possible. Jungle are the ones who keep refusing to follow the sheet music and try to make their own sounds, they would be the problem children of the band if the brass and woodwinds weren’t constantly fighting with each other.

He had come for you again.

Though your coworkers totally warned you when you first started. And they all called the boss Dunken for a reason.

He had grabbed you right as you walked out the door at the end of your 11 hour shift. He had picked you up effortlessly, and you were too tired to even try to sass him.

He had remarked on that rather quickly as he tied your hands (loosely) in front of you and placed you in the back seat of his car.

“Really Reni?! Not even a quick quip for little old me? I’d even take a stupid pun.”

I made muffled sounds in response, an old inside joke to when he use to gag me, the first 20 or so times he had kidnapped me, as he started the car and speed off. I could see his smile through the rear view mirror. So big it reached the edges of the cartoonish villain mask he had dawned today.

I smiled softly in response, “It’s been a loooong day David. Do we have a ways to go? Before you tie me up over the piranhas, or whatever dastardly plan you have for me today?” I flipped my hair dramatically as I said dastardly and attempted to roll my eyes (though truthfully I’ve never really been able to do it).

He smirked at me through the rearview mirror, “Trying to unfold my plot this early? Wow, someone really had a bad day at work. We have a few hours before we get where we’re going, but your feminine charm won’t work to get me to reveal our destination.”

“Good. In that case, this feminine charm is going to take a nap.”

“Aww, but that means I won’t get to enjoy the pleasure of your company Reni. Guess I’ll just have to listen to heavy metal music instead.” He plugged in his phone and turned on indie pop music. The soft sounds were a favorite of yours, and you figured his, since he had playlists full of it (you knew because you had managed to steal his phone one time when he had left it unlocked on the desk right by where you were “securely” tied up).

He had left a few blankets conveniently in the backseat (he had insisted on previous trips like this that they were for covering dead bodies), and your hands were tied loose enough that you managed to maneuver a blanket to act as a pillow and to drag one around you.

David whistled along softly to the song playing through the speakers as you let yourself drift into blissful sleep.

You woke up some 3ish hours later, having slept rather well. You only woke up once or twice when David cursed out a driver or took too fast a turn. He was honestly driving more within the legal bounds than normal. He probably didn’t want Wilk to catch onto him this early.

Not that it would likely matter this time.

“Good morning Reni!” David was quite excited that you were up. “Did you have a nice nap?”

“I did indeed. Though your driving could use some improvement. I’m shocked I don’t have a concussion from slamming my head with how quick you take turns.” I sassed.

“My driving?! My driving is impeccable. Clearly it is you who needs to learn better balance.” He scoffed backed. Though you noticed that he took the next few turns with more care.

You leaned forward between the two front seats, resting your chin on his chair, your lips nearly touching his shoulder. “So are you going to tell me where we are going now that you’ve almost killed me with your poor driving skills, or do I have to wait in agony? Also are we going to be there soon? Because I really need to pee. That’s probably contributing more to my agony than your driving.”

“We’ll be there soon. 45 more minutes. You think you can wait that long?” He asked, concern hinting in his tone.

“I guess.” You sighed as you sat back into your seat. You looked out the window for the first time in hours. “Wait?! We’re on the coast? Did you build a new lair on the coast? I’ve always wanted to visit the ocean, but it just seemed so far, and I was always too busy…”

You were rambling at this point, but he didn’t seem to mind. He just nodded his head as you talked, about your favorite sea creatures (mantis shrimps), how coral reefs were your favorite ecosystem, how you wanted to study marine biology in college. You never made it that far in school. You dropped out in high school. When your best friend got pregnant and her family disowned her. You both got a full time job until she couldn’t work any more. You’re the proud godmother of the sweetest 3 year old girl. You’d make the same choice again if it came to it. But you’re trying to finish your GED now. Hopefully you’ll be accepted to community college within a year.

He listened intently to it all, which was new.

Not for him, but for you. You were used to being constantly interrupted, interjected, or completely ignored.

Honestly, you had been looking forward to being kidnapped soon. Because he always listened.

Yes he was a little quirky. And absolutely dramatic. A little too over the top. And technically he was a villain. But really, was it so bad that he only targeted the worst corporations? Those polluting the environment and scrapping their workers for every last bit of cash. He had always treated you well (once you had convinced him to stop using the gag). And you were the “hero’s” girlfriend.

Extra emphasis on were.

Wilk was a decent enough guy, when you first met him at the coffee shop. You were still 16. Had just dropped out of school and were working full time there. And Wilk. Well, Wilk was in college. He played football. He was popular. He was everything you thought you wanted.
