a shy and frankly, rather pathetic young man. he attends school on Oxford Street, but is hardly ever seen running about since he's always hiding from the next big fish. he lives in a mansion on Danube Street with a single parent. they have been robbed multiple times, since either of them are rarely ever home.

axel is terrified of almost anything that moves. he's known to be clumsy and meek, and is a crybaby with low pain tolerance. in spite of this, he likes to garden, cook, and take walks and can be most frequently found out and about. he takes on just about any part time job he can get, and has a warped view of money. any part time job. he's smart enough to try and hide his identity when he does the less savory sort of things. he is needy to a degree, but mostly likes to service others and take care or them. when he does finally step out of his shell with abundant coaxing, he may start to seem a little... off.

though he tries to hide it, axel is an unashamed masochist who will do almost anything for attention. he has disturbingly high sex stats for someone who seems like such a prude... it takes a lot of work to get him out of his shell, but he is deeply affectionate and quite fond of physical touch. he is very clingy and is often seen with hickeys or bruises that he doesn't bother to hide. people tend to assume it's because he's clumsy anyways, which is technically true! his desperate need for attention often clouds his mind and makes him make irrational or poor decisions, but he tries to get along with people who will bail him out / have an escape plan. he only really likes getting bullied when he can at least determine if he's actually safe. he feels a lot of gratification from getting others what they want, which is in part why his love languages are acts of service and gift giving rather than physical touch (not to say that he minds that tho lawl).

relationships :

Robin - a cherished classmate. axel thinks they're very kind and not much else. he doesn't really think of them romantically, but he does enjoy their company and likes to gift them food or flowers. he does like to take care of them and cheer them up if they're down.

Whitney - he basically follows them around like a puppy. he tries to keep it on the low, since the other attention Whitney brings is usually bad and he doesn't actually like being caught out for his masochistic streak, but he really does like being bullied by them. he's a little bit of a freak about it if im gonna be real like he probably frequently thinks about going down on them

Kylar - he's honestly kind of scared of them? he helped them out since he's known for being nice, and he doesn't like to leave other people alone, but feeling eyes on his back makes him jumpy. he can't really predict kylar and often ends up spending time to appease him and his budding obsession. that being said, he does like the attention. he'd just rather sleep with both eyes closed

Sydney - he really likes them! axel isn't really the type to initiate their corruption, but he might be a little distraught if he did anyways. he likes to talk to them in the library and frequently buys them coffee and snacks. he secretly really really really likes when they write on him at lunch, he's just kind of fascinated with the idea of having something to wear around. if sydney is corrupt, axel both likes them more and wants to be around them less. they're a little too similar, except corrupt sydney brings up all of the traits that axel tries to push down which is a little overwhelming. he does think they're hot though.

Alex - he also likes them! sometimes he drops by to help, but gets the hell out of dodge faaaast. like reaaallly fast. he kind of wishes he could help them out more, because he does like farmwork, but. there's the remy problem.

Bailey - in a perfect world they've never met. axel is probably genuinely scared of them.

Avery - he really likes the attention but they stress him out so much. they remind him of home and his parent's perfectionism in a way that makes him kind of dizzy. hides from their car because he doesn't want to upset them

Charlie - he is too clumsy so he rarely ever goes to the dance studio. thinks they hate him

Sam - pretty neutral. they work at the cafe sometimes. make cash make cash money

Leighton - also stresses him out but for a different reason. he doesn't like to get in trouble at school but getting trouble with Leighton specifically causes him Many Problems for Many Reasons

Sirris - he likes them! mostly because he likes sydney. yeah that's it.

River - his best grade is in housekeeping, so they're pretty chill. he's a good student in general, so he gets along with most of his teachers. sometimes he helps at the soup kitchen even though it makes him feel a little stuffy and awkward

Niki - he thought about going into modeling and then remembered that he has to balance the attention he gets very specifically so he doesn't end up tumbling down the slippery slope of being noticed. though they were kind of cool though sort of.

Remy - genuinely scared shitless by them. he's up for a lot of things because he's definitely mildly addicted to what his attention balancing brings. he's not up for any of that. he is genuinely fragile and they would definitely take advantage of that in a way axel can't really prevent properly.

anyone unlisted axel either doesn't know, doesn't engage with much, or just wouldn't be interesting to talk about!
