who do you think Peters favourite ler is and why

Oh, that's a very interesting question! I hope you don't mind me going deep for this one. 

If we include people outside the Avengers, my first choice would be Ned.

Now, one could argue that with the potential of Peter accidentally hurting Ned if the latter tried tickling him, the whole thing could be stressful and not fun.

That's the part where it gets interesting.

The thing about Ned tickling Peter is that he knows exactly what drives his friend up the wall. He can predict his reaction pretty well, knowing that it's safer to dig into Peter's underarms when the latter has his back turned to him or lies under him, pinned on the couch or a bed. He is aware of the flailing of arms that follows if you go from Peter's stomach to his ribs without a pause, as Peter cannot hold in his flight reaction when two of his worst spots get attacked one after another, so he goes for his knees instead.

It's a technique he had mastered before the spider bite. It's a well-practiced method to keep his friend's occasional sass at bay but Ned never takes it too far, mindful of Peter's asthma. Imagine his surprise that the same technique would be the safest way to mess with Peter after he became strong enough to catch a school bus with bare hands. Ned had mastered the way of wrecking the heck out of his friend by keeping a balance with the intensity, knowing to read his friend's reactions. 

Peter, on the other hand, loves and hates Ned for the way he tickles him. He sometimes feels like an idiot at how quickly his friend sent him to the floor into a giggly heap, squirming from side to side. At the same time, he can't deny he's having fun, and he would never admit it out loud, but it kinda relaxes him.

He doesn't have to hold back his reaction, doesn't have to muffle his crazy giggling in a pillow, or hide his reddened face behind his hands because this is Ned. The other teen has seen him during some of his dumbest and most embarrassing moments, laughing his head off in front of him barely counts as embarrassing anymore. That, paired with the knowledge that Ned wouldn't turn the tickling too far, adds to it being fun and relaxing as Peter can trust his best friend to avoid overwhelming him and drive him into accidentally hurting him.

Now, with the Avengers it's a little different. They know him well but not as well as Ned, so sometimes Peter's afraid to hurt one of them, especially the non-enhanced people on the team. Clint can be pretty ruthless at times, same as Sam and sometimes Natasha when provoked. At those times, Peter simply flees the scene.

Mr. Stark is better at reading him, but his mentor keeps it to some light tickles, which Peter is grateful for because the last thing he wants is to hurt Mr. Stark. That leaves Peter with the other enhanced individuals, and while they are having movie nights and team bonding and all that stuff, Peter sometimes cannot help but feel silly showing this side in front of Steve. With Bucky, it's easier and pretty fun but Peter's favorite whom he will never tell anybody about cause the teasing would be endless and Mr. Stark would for some weird reason feel jealous, is Thor. 

Yes, Thor. God of Thunder, brother of Loki, former King of Asgard. That Thor.

After his hero worship and general worship (cause, hello, his teammate is a literal god, how flipping awesome is that??) died down, Peter caught on quickly that Thor is rather playful. The god often acts confused, but there is that mischievous twinkle in his eyes when he hears his teammate groan, telling him the god isn't as oblivious as he pretends to be. Thor also very much likes to use this act of his to tease Peter when tickling him, and it's the silliness and playfulness of the god, as well as the fact that Peter can try fighting him off without hurting him, that makes it so enjoyable to fool around with the man. 

"This strange reaction is very amusing to watch. Does this also happen when I do this?" Thor glances down at him, one of Peter's arms pinned over his head as the god tilts his head in curiosity, free hand hovering over Peter's ribs. 

Peter playfully glares up at the blond, pushing against his chest to shove him off, but a smile tugging on his lips. "Loki told me you know what tickling is. You don't fool me, Thor."

He receives a grin, full teeth, and twinkling eyes.

"Alright. I don't have to hold back while playing pretend then."

The fact that Thor can overpower him and keep up when he chases him around, plus the playful teasing, leaves Peter in such a weird stage of excitement as his spidey-sense keeps completely quiet while his adrenaline spikes and his flight instinct kicks into full gear.

Peter sometimes wonders if this is what it feels like to have an older brother who messes with you for fun because that's what playing around with Thor feels like. It's genuine silliness and fun without holding back, and if Thor had caught on that Peter secretly enjoys getting thrown on couches like a ragdoll or picked up and carried over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, if his giggling is any indication of it, he doesn't comment on it but only grins at the teen's reaction.

Welp, this took ages. Sorry about that ^^;;;;. Some of the asks I answered elsewhere so here’s Tiffany, Deborah, and AJ

Jenny

First impression:I found her kind of boring, honestly. ^^;; Her stats weren’t ones that reallygrabbed me, she wasn’t skilled in repair or speed, and hiding just reallywasn’t my thing.

Impression now: Evenif she’s not my fave, I really do like Jenny, and not just for the chances I’vehad to write her outside of the game. She’s got probably one of my favoriteoutfits (the fairy princess one :3), she’s surprisingly good as a mediccharacter, and tossing a decent Marathon perk on her compensates for her lowstamina. She may not be very fast or smart, but when played well she can be areal pain in the butt for Jason. XD

Favorite moment:For Jenny, it’s probably another moment from when I was primarily doingquickplay games with random people. I spawned in on Packanack Lodge down at thebottom of the map, all alone with a boat escape. While the rest of the team ranaround fighting over the car and the cops, I managed to hunt down the parts forthe boat and repair it completely (and I think it may have been perfectrepairs) and got out on my own while Jason was distracted chasing people at thepolice exit. That was basically the moment I realized I could repair as Jennyand do a good job with it, provided Jason gave me enough time to work. XD

Idea for a story:I’m toying with the idea of a side story for Legacy, involving what exactly washappening with Jenny during the majority of the story… but again, I don’t wantto go into a lot of details because A: spoilers and B: I don’t know if I’ll getto it at any point. XD

Unpopular opinion:Um… her voice is obnoxious? Not really an unpopular opinion I think, but it’sthe best I got. Love ‘ya, Jen, but you need to stop shrieking.

Favorite relationship:Jenny and Chad, obviously. I’m really not entirely sure how I ended up shippingit, but gosh it’s just so cute somehow. Platonically, I see her being reallygood friends with pretty much all the counselors, since Jenny’s just that kind of person who’s basicallyeverybody’s mom friend.

Favorite headcanon:Jenny the Mom Friend, basically. XD She’s the one who’s always ready withsnacks or hot drinks or a shoulder to cry on, or even just ready to storm outthere and give a stern talking to whomever started picking on her friends.

Kenny

First impression:Honesty I thought he was boring. ^^;;;; Largely due to the whole “five in allstats” thing. Since he wasn’t really good at anything, I couldn’t really pinhim down and so just wrote him off as boring.

Impression now:Gosh Kenny’s a cutie. XD His average stats make him easy to tweak into whateverbuild you want to try, and he can actually be a really good addition to theteam! (At least before Jason got his heelies and became super-speedy-jason-6000and ruined the ability to play as anything other than a high-speed characterbecause only Chad, Tiffany and Vanessa can run fast enough to not dieimmediately.) He just feels like an all-around great guy and I’ve reallyenjoyed playing him.

Favorite moment:Hm, again I’m having a hard time pinning down a specific time. I think therewas one round where we had a massive battle at the phone box on the main Lodgeat Higgins Haven, and if I remember right I spent most of my time as Kenny body-blockingthe box or stunning Jason when he tried to break it, but it’s been a while.

Idea for a story:Wellll….. not to give anything away, but I do have a short story I’m working on….>.> featuring Kenny pretty heavily….

Unpopular opinion:I honestly don’t see him as gay? I really don’t mean to offend anyone with this and I don’t have an issue with anyone headcanoning it,I promise. I just… don’t. He reminds me wayyyy too much of a character from my previousfandom who had the fandom treat him the exactsame way because he wore plaid and did engineering stuff as well as being atalented pianist and artist so y’know, let’sstereotype the character that canonically flirts with more women than any ofhis brothers. It’s a super sore spot for me because the whole situation waskinda rough for one of my friends who had a really strong muse for thecharacter, and the fact that it’s happening to ANOTHER character the exact same waykind of frustrates me. Like, headcanon what y’all want but for me at least, I just don’t see it.

Favorite relationship:I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for him and Tiffany at this point. I don’t knowif I’d call their relationship exactly healthy,much like with Chad and Jenny, but at the same time I’m a bit of a sucker forthe “ladykiller in love” trope (or whatever you’d call it if the girl’s the onewho’s a lot more flirtatious than the guy. XD) I also really love the idea ofKenny, Adam and AJ being a really tight-knit group of friends, and Kennyprobably gets along really well with Jenny too.

Favorite headcanon:He’s a bit uptight. Super charming and everything when he’s in “Head CounselorMode” and being friendly with parents and/or kids, but actually running thecamp can make him come across as somewhat neurotic. But on the other side, he’ssuper sweet and kind of a dorky romantic guy who probably serenades Tiffany withhis guitar when he has the chance. X3

Adam

First impression:The whole “edgy,” “biker-y” thing wasn’t really the type of character I’m drawnto, but I didn’t hate him. Like a lot of the characters, I was kind of “meh” onhim in general. Also the lack of stealth really wasn’t my thing for a long time.

Impression now: Ilike him a lot, even if I don’t get to play him much. And honestly,mechanically, he’s not really my best character to play as, especially since he’ssuper noisy and now can’t even run away from Jason at a full sprint. Butcharacter-wise? He’s pretty fun to work with. X3

Favorite moment:Again, really not sure I have one; I barely play him since the random selectiondoesn’t give him to me often, and I rarely pick him since there’s othercharacters I’m better at playing.

Idea for a story:Wellllll, he’s in the short story I’ve been picking at lately… though I don’treally have any stories in mind for Adam specifically. Again, he’s one of thosecharacters I like using as a best friend/side character.

Unpopular opinion:I dunno, I don’t see him as being quite the “tough, rough, bad-boy” some peopledo? Like, yeah he’s got the hair and the leather and stuff, but I feel like he’sa lot more “tough on the outside (especially to bullies) and sweet on theinside” than anything else.

Also I actually like him and AJ being a couple, which seemsto be a somewhat unpopular opinion.

Favorite relationship:Well, AJ mostly, since it’s canon. XD And cute. I do like him and Kennybeing really good friends, and probably the voices of reason in the camp, Adamespecially. (Kenny can be a bit intense as I write him, while Adam’s a lotmellower.)

Favorite headcanon: Iguess since he doesn’t have any confirmed backstory, I kind of really like Adambeing Italian (specifically Sicilian) since his last name is. Also that Adam’sthe cool, laid-back counselor that all the kids think is the Absolute Coolest.

Eric

Y’all had to do it tome, didn’t you?

First impression:I didn’t like him. Out of the entire cast, Eric’s the only one who hasn’tspoken to me at all. Like, at all. He’skind of the epitome of the kind of character I end up feeling very “thank youbut no” about.

Impression now:Nothing has changed. I don’t like him really at all. I don’t like playing ashim because even with a slightly higher strength, he’s still a much worse formof Deborah who can’t run worth anything. And he literally doesn’t speak to mecreatively at all.

Favorite moment:I don’t know, maybe the one time I was in a group and managed to stay away fromJason for like, 5 minutes? The Jason admitted to toying with us, but it was oneof the few times I felt like I wasn’t a huge useless burden as Eric.

Idea for a story:Literally none, he doesn’t speak to me at all.

Unpopular opinion: Idon’t get the meme-ness of him, or understand why people like him at all. Ijust frustrated with people acting like he’s some kind of awesome characterwhen he’s just… really, really not.

Favorite relationship:I don’t have one. I don’t even have friendshipones for him. I think he might have a crush on Deborah but yeah, that ain’tgoing anywhere in my stories.

Favorite headcanon:Uh, that he’s in charge of the radio? Look, I got nothing. I gave him the jobof introducing the radio to Deborah in my story to give him something to do, I literallydon’t have any feeling other than complete apathy at best when it comes to Eric.

YeaaaahhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHWhy I like themOh man let me count the ways... So Buu Saga Goten is the cutest little button in the world. Most kids that age are, I guess, but he’s such a sweetie. 

During the Gotenks vs Buu fight, Gotenks has a list of attack names that includes a lot of sweets... I have a suspect on which part of Gotenks’ brain had a hand in that. He’s up for a mischief and we know from Super he has a good social sense (advising his Dad on gifts for Whis). He seems like a “dive in headfirst” kinda person (from trying to get at the Dragon Balls Bingo prize at the start of Super without thinking things through) which can both cause problems but sometimes people like that are natural lateral-thinking geniuses. From EoZ and GT (I know I know GT’s not canon my HCs diverge from it too) Goten seems really chill and laid back to the point of possible detriment (lazy butt EoZ), interested in dating/likes people/very sociable. There’s so much potential there and my imagination goes wild on what to do with him in the group!

Why I don’t::shakes:: who are you? Why do we not know more about you? Am I correct? WHY ARE YOU SO TINY IN SUPERRRRRRR (I know why but whhyyyyyyyyy you’re thirteeeeeen) (loooots more under cut)

Favorite episode (scene if movie)I’m holding out for this Goten/Trunks/Marron filler in Super tbqh. That and the Goten vs Trunks fight for things like “KAMEKAMEHA” and that smartypants move of using a ki blast to change direction to pursue Trunks. Trunks may outwardly have a strategic mind but Goten has a more “gut-feeling” approach to things. 

Favorite season/movieBuu I guess! I watched one of the Broly’s recently and the Goten/Trunks bants had me rolling. Hoping to have more of him in future.Favorite lineIt’s a dub line and isn’t in Kai sadly, but it’s in one of the “Videl learns to fly” episodes. Goten’s chasing after a frog and says “Come back, you villain!” The delivery is great and I quote it every time I drop something. Outside of dub in Super, Gohan trying to get Goten to wear the Great Saiyaman outfit and he just... 

kiddo’s growing up!Favorite outfitI love the long sleeves on him in Buu saga, but I really like the lack of sleeves on his gi in Super. I hope he keeps it as he gets older, with the black rather than blue undershirt. And the wee slippers instead of boots! OTP...............Yeaaah I’m Goten x Marron endgame still at the mo. HC as it being a rather ‘late’ development, Goten 30, Marron 26, so they’ve had time to develop into Responsible Adults (lol, Goten). I do see him as a solid user of DB-world’s version of Tinder/Grindr (matching GT a bit), but I see him legit just as happy to Netflix and Chill as... “Netflix and Chill��, seeing it as the exact same kind of fun rather than getting hung up on things.Had a few short relationships, but having to add “oh btw I have a friend [Gotenks, and by extension Trunks] I have to tell everything to is that okay?” is going to cut down on who’s going to spend a lot of time with him. The “yeah I have superpowers and my best mate is the richest guy in the world so how’s your day been?” conversation isn’t really something he can do that early on and people get pissed at his secrecy (he doesn’t care as it’s complicated to lie, but he’s protecting everyone else). And the one or two who did find out fixated on the powers thing, poor lad. Marron doesn’t though, they’ve always whinged at each other about life as they got older (Marron more relying on Goten than Trunks as they’re in the same city, even though Trunks is a good ear, too), and from Goten’s PoV it just happens. It’s convenient and comfortable that he gets to date a best friend this-is-the-best-idea-and-it’s-working-oh-my-god. In that way I see him approaching relationships like his Dad, really, the wider-world approach. BrotpGoten and Pila- OF COURSE IT’S TRUNKS. And Gotenks. Best boys. I see G and T like JD and Turk tbh. But...Because of Fusion I see their relationship as far deeper on some level than romantic ones would be. They spend time as the same person - it has to have a profound effect. Do I see it developing into Truten? Yeah for a bit, as I like exploring “what if” ideas, but not for long because it would wind them both up so much the way I picture them. Still, in the few months I headcanon Goten dead they’re both very lost without the other to bounce off of.Headcanon Goten can’t focus his ki sharp enough for swords, so Goku fetches Nyoibo from Korin which he end up being very VERY good with. He keeps it shrunk in his left ear (so Gotenks can withdraw it with sword simultaneously), later with actual piercings to keep it fixed in place, looking like an industrial piercing. Chichi went SPARE at him, of course. “My son! The deliquent!”Continuing the gag from DB with his dad, Many of the reports from the Junior Division of the Tournament have written his name in katakana and have just... completely messed up reading the kanji from the board, listing him as a Magosaki, letting Goten escape press attention. It’s the same when he goes to college, the administration deciding to read his kanji as Mago Satoshi Takashi and it being on /everything/ in katakana and by the end of the week he just can’t be bothered. So he goes by Satoshi for three years, only remembering to fix it for graduation. This has the added benefit of people being unable to find Trunks’ ex-roomate to bribe in later years.At college he just kind of... follows Trunks since he really doesn’t know what to do (T taking a working gap year so they can start together). He ends up learning how to cook sweets and bakes to feed his sweet tooth (his fave sweet is strawberry daifuku!) and is really good at working with his hands --> realises people are super happy when he tailors food for people and that makes him happy --> ends up opening a desserts café, named Paozu Place in honour of his parents and home, as of course he misses the country in the city. The gimmick being he’ll ask you a set of bizarre questions and will pick and modify what’s on offer to make you the perfect sweet/drink combination. Really, he’s reading from people’s ki, but shuuush ;).He has two perma members of staff, both languishing teens at the time he p much adopted them, same with the building, it was pretty run-down but he fixed it up with some help. He can see the potential in people and because of his manner he can draw out the best in people without them or even him realising. They call him “boss” or “bossman” and get on well. Because he hates lying, Goten lets them ask questions about the weird things they’ve noticed about him if they’ve earned enough points through hard work (the points earned and points spent on questions are completely arbitrary). It’s only when one of them jokes “are you an alien, boss?” and he returns with a whopping “it’ll cost ya fifty points”, that things start getting serious. He leaves the cafe to them when he and Trunks open the sword school, though he still goes back to work at times to help them cover shifts because he loves the bustle and misses it.Unpopular opinionDunno if unpopular but I don’t see him as skinny as GT, Ox King genes play a role to make him a liiiittle wider when he gets older. Nowhere as big as Ox King, but he ends up taller and wider than Trunks. I don’t see much art depicting him like that so possibly unpopular? (That and he’s prob bi/pan but this is tumblr) 

A wishJust to have him get screen time!!!! You’d think he was a well established character the way I harp on but the potential is there! An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happenI didn’t like Palace/Valese in GT as end-game for him :( I liked her as a character though! Linda wears lightning bolt themed jewelry/has a backpack with a lightning bolt on it

Wally gave his Flash ring (that he’s treasured since childhood) to her that functions both as a communicator and a promise ring

Wally sometimes watches Linda while she sleeps

On at least two occasions, Wally proved he’d recognize the smell of Linda’s perfume anywhere

At one point Nightwing pointed out how both of them were exactly what each other needed in their lives and basically all of their friends ship it
