It was one year ago. I was standing on that bridge, cold, a bit humid and not quite sure what to expect. Like the rest of that adventure. I was about to leave to spend 8 days in the mountains. To reach that place I've been dreaming the most about. Blue Lake and Lake Constance. It was breaking. Physically and mentally. But when I was standing by that Lake, looking at Constance, my mind cleared. I knew I was suppose to be here. And I finally gave up and fell in love with hiking. When I came back down, I was someone new. Maybe not in a big noticeable way, but something changed. Whenever I feel down, I look back at that girl on the bridge and tell myself "you didn't know you could do it and you went for it anyway".
