Mainly because he would be worried about how he'd be received. What does that have to do with anything anyways? He moves to sit down across from Sephiroth, his leg bouncing with all of his pent up energy. "Why do you ask?"

It's not that he's trying to be nosy, either, but...he'd like to think that he can tell when something is up with Sephiroth. He'd been quieter lately, keeping to himself more than what was typical, and it really did worry Zack to some extent. "Is everything alright?"
