A little tarot exercise to amplify your intuition! Let's see what's blocking our inner eye.

The High Priestess is all about tuning in to our intuition. For this exercise, set the following intention for this reading with the prompts below before shuffling. Then shuffle the tarot deck thoroughly and flip the deck over so that the card images are facing you. Find The High Priestess card. The card below it (before it) will reveal what’s blocking your intuition. The card on top (after it) will show you how to tune into your intuition on a deeper level. Or if you prefer, you can pull out The High Priestess card and pull a card for each of these prompts to make a 3 card spread with The High Priestess as the middle card.

Welcome to the mystical realm of the The High Priestess... As we continue on our Major Arcana journey, we next encounter the mystical and mysterious High Priestess. While the Magician encourages us to find our gifts through reminders of outer means (wand, sword, cup and pentacle), the High Priestess asks us to look even deeper into what is hidden and open up to the complex depths of our subconscious. Her number is two: a sprout producing two leaves from the one seed. Two reflects and we see the High Priestess standing between two pillars, one black, one white. In between lies her wisdom, her crystal ball of insight above her head and resting upon the crescent moon of the Goddess. Now the path becomes a dance and will become more complex as we wind our way onward. Here the Fool encounters herself in the looking glass. It is the Universe eyeing itself, the eye, the gaze, the peering into a crystal ball or mirror to divine our path and where we are headed. The High Priestess stands between two worlds: the conscious and the unconscious, the dark and the light, the seen and the unseen, the masculine and the feminine. We can remember that the conscious mind is merely the tip of an iceberg...what is submerged below holds a vast terrain of our hidden thoughts, emotions, creative energies perhaps that are ready to be tapped and brought up to the surface. The High Priestess reminds us to follow our intuition...and when she turns up in a reading, then likely your intuition is getting stronger.
