wild to not be known as "the chick who wrote the really intense and well researched Rosalind Lutece meta about why she was Like That(tm)" or "head karkat/terezi/dave shipper, literally olympics sanctioned" anymore. Now I'm just "I exist with these two middle aged men who have so many problems and should kiss about it". I've truly entered my peak era haven't I.

college football season (again)
Whenever Sadie runs into someone from high school, it’s always college football season.
It’s probably more annoying in Michigan than any other state. When you graduate from high school, people don’t really give a damn where you go unless it’s Blue or Green. Sadie went Blue, sort of, and people remember. Right there, in the mall, people remember.
Like today. She’s trying to shop for a new sweater, just to look professional and pretty in her upper-level psychology classes, and she runs into Gina Lumetta. When they graduated a year and a half ago, Gina went Green. Apparently, it was a little too far away from home, so she’s back in town to finish up at Wayne State. She looks a little embarrassed.
“Don’t be,” Sadie says. “Wayne State is a great school. If I decide to get a master’s, that’s where I’ll go. It’s great.”
Gina nods.
“Either way, I wasn’t as good as you,” she says. “Hey, it’s college football season. Do you just love it over there at the Big House?”
Sadie feels her throat begin to close up, and she hates herself for it. This? Again? She thought she got over it early in the summertime, after she made the Dean’s List for the second time and declared psychology as her major. Hell, maybe she was over it before then. She’s not like Lucy. She doesn’t get wrapped up in prestige. But as soon as someone hears you’re going Blue, they get all these visions. And if you don’t quite fit into their visions, then they look at you differently. Weirdly. Worse.
“Well, I, uh, I don’t go there very often,” she says before she too meekly explains she chose a satellite campus over the flagship. She watches as Gina’s stare gets different, weird, worse. This always happens, and there’s nothing she or anyone can do to stop it.
“I know it seems a little local,” Sadie backpedals. “But it’s really great, and I love it. Lucy Callaghan goes there, too, so you know it can’t be too bad. She doesn’t settle.”
All the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Did she really just throw her best friend under the bus? In front of Gina Lumetta? And for what? Why is she embarrassed in front of someone who meant so little to her in high school, which means so little to her now?
“Oh,” Gina says. “Well, maybe you’ll transfer.”
Sadie sighs.
“Yeah,” she says. “Maybe.”
But she knows she won’t transfer. Why would she? She can’t afford flagship prices, and it’s not like her diploma will look any different. And why does she care? She loves her school. She loves her classes. She loves seeing her friends across campus, and she loves living in her neighborhood. Why would she give any of it up? Just so that ex-popular kids don’t look at her differently? Weirdly? Worse? She never cared before, but now, it seems important. It seems like she has something to prove.
It’s a good thing she knows she’s majoring in psychology now, she thinks. Maybe she can use her homework to figure out why she had to prove herself in front of one of the many, many girls Daniel slept with before he came around to her.
Or maybe she just figured it out.
It’s college football season (again). And Sadie’s out defending herself (again).
But in the end, she’s not sorry about where she lives, where she works, what she does. How could she be?
She’s happy.

Sherri (Simmons) Logan was born on January 25, 1988, in Charleston, West Virginia. Her family moved to Boone when she was a toddler. She has an older sister named Robyn and a little brother named Terry Jr (aka TJ). Sherri graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and attended North Carolina Central University where she studied Early Childhood Education for two years. Her life’s dream was to become an elementary school librarian. While in college, Sherri’s parents separated. As a result, she became depressed, and eventually so overwhelmed with school work that she dropped out. Despite her inner desire, Sherri avoided any work in the education field and took on jobs in retail and customer service. When she and Clyde started dating, she worked two jobs--cashier at a dollar store and cashier at a local supermarket. She was also living with her best friend, Tasha. Sherri still feels the “sting” of (self-imposed) embarrassment that has come with being “the one who was supposed to “make it” but didn’t”, but occasionally considers returning to school. Sherri’s sister, Robyn, moved back to Charleston when she married Devon. They have a son, Devon Jr (aka DJ), and a baby girl named Princess. Her brother, TJ, lives in Atlanta, GA. Sherry currently works as the morning/afternoon receptionist at Busy Bees Daycare. Entries to Reference: “July 1992″, “Her name is Sherri.”, “Untitled Prompt Request”, “Familiar”. Clyde Logan was born on November 25, 1983, in Boone, West Virginia to Donna Logan and Timothy Green. He has an older brother named James (aka Jimmy) and a little sister named Melody (aka Mellie). When Clyde was about eight years old, Timothy (never having married Donna), abandoned his family--only sending the occasional postcard to his parents and for the first couple of years, birthday cards to his kids (through his parents). When Donna died of cancer in 1996, the Logan children moved in with their maternal grandparents, Aaron and Sylvia.
Around this time, Clyde noticeably became more introverted, but often got in trouble for little mischievous acts (ex: setting off the school fire alarm to get out of a test; the occasional schoolyard fight). He joined the Army after high school and just as he was returning home after a second tour in Iraq, Clyde lost the lower part of his left arm in a roadside accident. Inspired by his newfound love for cooking shows, Clyde began taking bartending classes, and late in 2004, started working at Duck Tape. He worked there for sixteen years.
Aaron and Sylvia Logan have since passed away (Aaron in 1999, Sylvia in 2008), as has Clyde’s paternal grandmother, Betty (d. 2013). His brother Jimmy currently lives in Greenbrier County, WV has a daughter named Sadie and a fiancée named (ironically), Sylvia. Mellie is recently married to Joe Bang. Clyde currently works as day bartender at a posh restaurant called Strafford’s Kitchen. Entries to Reference: “July 1992″, “Familiar”, “A Mean Old Fashioned”, “Headed West”. _____________________ I even have a work schedule for these two but I’m gonna to sit down somewhere and finish this. Bye. Lol.

Fan Fiction Writers Questions that I have been asked and had answered so far
What’s your favorite character(s) to write for?
I started to get into writing again and for Sebastian Stan. If it’s Bucky/Sebastian Stan-related, I’ve only been able to two for them (Birthday Girl and Rock Star). I have them posted up on my Tumblr page and I’ll share the links for them as well. Starting to enjoy writing for him and some of his various movie characters. In the past, actor wise I’ve written for Orlando Bloom, some for his other movie roles, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jackson Rathbone, Kellan Lutz (I was a huge Twilight fan when the movies were out).
8. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered stories?
When I was younger (20 moons ago lol) back during the early 2000’s when I was working in retail, in college for my first unfinished college degree, I had the energy wasn’t tired, I loved writing multi-chaptered stories. My old Orlando Bloom ones got tons of feedback when I was in Yahoo Orlando Bloom fan groups These days, it seems I am lucky if I can find some time where I can work on and write a one-shot.
12. Who is your favorite author?
Hmm tough question, I have a lot. In my teens, I loved Johanna Lindsey, I often bought her books. I later got into more erotic romances by Susan Johnson and Robin Schone. In my twenties, I liked Allison Brennan Mystery, Thriller, and Romance. Lately, I’ve been reading Sadie Kincaid’s books. Her new book in the LA Ruthless series just came out on June 3rd. I also like Lindsey Powell, Amber Adams, Fiona Cole, and Nicole Snow. My list often grows because of author’s books popping up in my Facebook feed. I sometimes will share in my Tumblr posts about books I just finished reading or what are some of my favorites that aren’t exactly erotic-related romance.
15. What is the fanfic you’ve written that you’re most proud of?
Well, if you can consider a movie script a form of fanfic, I would say my first movie script called Shattered I wrote in May 2007. I wrote that after I had just gotten out of an abusive relationship/engagement it helped me heal and find some closure. It didn’t hurt that seeing Pirates of the Caribbean 3, 9 times either helped with how fast I was writing it. It was the first piece of my work that I actually got registered with the Writers Guild Of America (WGA) in March 2015 and actually sent to Kellan Lutz to read as a 30th birthday gift. It also was a way of saying thanks for commenting me that I was vocal, and he liked that about me, giving me courage to get brave enough finally do that. After doing that, I wouldn’t rule out trying to write something for Sebastian Stan.
29. What part of the writing process do you enjoy the most? (Brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing, etc)
It’s probably got to be Brainstorming. I don’t think my brain ever sleeps or takes a break from wanting to be creative. I can get ideas at the most random times or most random of places. I wish I could just be able to write the story in my head alone since it can play out like a movie preview. I also have a bit too much fun when I get into research.
Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?
Yes, and even some finished ones that I would not ever let see the light of day again (thankfully, the websites that were hosting the stories have been taken down as well, lol). Before, I explain I will mention that this was during the mid-late 90’s and into early-mid 00’s when I was in high school and my first three years in college before I switched majors and was in my early 20’s (I’m 40 right now). When I use to be a Backstreet Boys fan, I use to write fan fiction and smutty one-shots about them. Believe me, I’ve embarrassed myself in front of Nick Carter a handful of times on more than one occasion, that’s another story for another day. My story plots and way of writing was embarrassing, (it didn’t help that I went to a Private Christian School as well 6-12th grade, I think I started to become corrupt when I turned 13, believe me another story for another day lol) it mostly was like Mary Sue styled writing.
My smut wasn’t as good as it is now, now I can really get into more detail and descriptions. I’m not against co-writing, but there were one or two I co-wrote with a few authors, their style and direction they wanted to take the story made it suck. One was lost when a virus affected that computer, we had to throw it out, other I believe I did delete it, so it would never once again see the light of day. Would I ever let those WIP see the light of day again, very likely, only after I re-edited the hell out of them and probably re-wrote in into new story characters with more details and a believable plot. At least now there is a good handful of actors/actresses I don’t mind writing for that I can develop a plot of a story or rewrite one of those works for.
Who is one character you haven’t yet written for that you would like to?
Wow, I am gonna say that there are a few and it’s for two actors. For Sebastian Stan characters/roles I haven’t written for yet that I would like to would be Nick Fowler, Carter Baizen, Chase Collins, T.J. Hammond, and Jack Benjamin. Then for Henry Cavill it would be Geralt of Rivia. The only problem is that I would first need to take a weekend or two off from work so I can binge-watch these movies/shows and get a temporary subscription to Netflix so that I can access one of the shows. I unfortunately still haven’t seen or fully watched any of these movies. They are on my list of things to do though that is slowly being checked off as I complete them.
4. Do you have writing habits or rituals?
Ritual-wise, I’ll do research if I need to for sections of my story. Sometimes I may go a bit overboard with that. I’ll have a picture with me if I want to think of the character(s) in a certain way. I play music sometimes that goes with the mood of the story, if a certain movie inspires me to have a writing idea let alone to write, I’ll watch that movie on repeat in the background while I’m writing. I can’t explain this, but for some strange reason, the notebook that I am writing in must be a 5-subject 5-star notebook, I just like how the paper is fresh, firm, and crisp along with a certain 5 lead model type machinal pencil.
8. Favorite trope to write.
I do like AU I’ve written Crime/Murder/Thriller before for movie scripts, Enemies to Lovers, Friends to Lovers, Arranged Marriages, Pacts and Deals, and Strong Female Characters. Rather it’s a Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault Survivor. She Doesn’t Let Any Men Violate Her Personal Boundaries. A little bit of Alpha Male but respects Female Character treats her like an equal. I do like Romantic, Erotic, and Smutty. I have a feeling the list might grow, that’s what I have down for now.
9. Least favorite trope to write.
Don’t kill the Fan Fic Writer, this is my honest answer. So, there is more than one that I Won’t Ever Write For. This is based mainly on the fact that I chose to be child-free and never have children, plus not everyone wants children and because I am a Domestic Violence Survivor and have been placed in the situation where I was almost at coercive reproduction with my Ex-Fiancé also likely plays into this. It’s Breeding Kink. The male character is so obsessed with knocking up the female character and has a Baby Fever/Baby Bump Fetish. Not every reader has dreams or fantasies where they want to be bred and knotted and knocked up. I just feel like the Alpha/Beta/Omega trope has been overdone. It just makes it sound like the female character is only there for the male character’s sexual enjoyment use of her body and the male ego of using her as a reproductive sexual objective item. Hey, this could only be me who thinks or feels like this. Some have been good, and I don’t mind reading, to me it’s not a turn-on. Then there is the Non-Consent trope along with choking, slapping, hitting, and degrading types of violent sex. It’s not exactly easy to write about Sexual Assault, let alone at times about Domestic Violence. I think maybe because it just brings back traumatic memories from when I was there in that position and that was a moment of opportunity for the abuser to kill me or any victim for that matter. Often during pregnancies Domestic Abuse becomes worse and worsens, it’s a higher risk and chance that the pregnant abuse victim will or can be killed. It’s like you have No Boundaries or any Personal Boundaries Are Respected. That I feel and am safe while sort of in a vulnerable position. I hope that answer makes sense.

I'd like to share a story, kind of an unusual one, but it ties into my life in a very interesting way right now and it's important to me that I write or say my thoughts so do i can rationalize and understand my brain better. So buckle up y'all, this is the story of my maternal grandfather. My grandfather has been a deeply religious man his entire life. His dream job from day one was to enter the priesthood and devote his life to the service of God. Then he met a pretty girl named Mary Ann at his high school Sadie Hawkins dance. He was a senior and she was a sophomore, she was also a very devout Catholic, and had plans to enter service as a nun. "Life is what happens while you are making other plans" - John Lennon They dated as a fling for about a year, and realized they didn't want to live apart. They consulted their priest (they had attended the same church but different masses their whole lives) and couldn't make it one month without each other. They got married about a year later. From 1958 to 1996, they were married. My grandmother (Oma) was about as successful as she could be in life, working a paying job she was okay with and a volunteer job she loved, raising twelve children born over fifteen years, and even attended college with her oldest daughter and became saluditorian. By all counts, she led a wonderful life until she passed away from breast cancer on Sadie Hawkins day 1996. My grandfather entered the armed forces briefly after marrying my grandmother. He left after two years, when he finished his conscription. He went to college and became an excellent lawyer known in the D.C. area. When my grandmother died, he worked another year and then retired to become a priest. To this day I have no idea how he did it, he was roughly twice the maximum age the Church allows men to enter seminary. I do know that while he is extremely bright, he has never been much good with technology. He had to ask a friend to create an early version of a speech to text program for him to create documents, and he learned to type over years and years before he left his microphone behind. He's still a priest. He lives in rural Maryland now, on my family's old farmland. He's officially retired, but subs for priests wherever he's needed. He's been to Arizona twice! He's beloved by his congregations- the sweetest, most loving, most accepting priest you could possibly imagine. I remember attending his retirement party at his church and member after member of the community would approach me or other family members and regale us with how he really brought the church together and breathed new life into the community. About how much good he had done, and how sad they were to see him go. The moral of this story is dual in nature: One: you are never too far down a path to turn and do something else entirely. My grandfather was a lawyer for thirty years before he was ordained. The second is this: don't be embarrassed to ask for help, even if it's unusual or you think it will inconvenience others. If you need help, you need help. My grandfather had to have a special piece of software developed so he could achieve his dream. It was worth it. I recently got a job at a bakery. I don't need much accommodation, but my short term memory is awful and I have to keep asking for directions over and over. I love working there. But I feel like a nuisance asking people to repeat themselves. If my grandfather can ask someone to be 15- 20 years ahead of tech development (referring to when STT became common, not when it was initially used for commercial purposes), then I can ask someone to go over directions one more time, and you can ask someone for your own special accommodations.
