So here’s the deal…

I understand that as the polls by @best-hifi-rush-character get further along and the really beloved fan favorites start clashing with each other that our humble little CAR-11Es may be tossed aside.

I see this and I cannot allow it to come to pass without a fight. So, I ask you:

there is a hifi rush fanfic i adored. fight scenes were beautifully written. characters were written so well i could hear them. i could see this fic in my mind. i only read it once. it's gone now. i've looked and looked, and it's nowhere. searched my entire previously read pages on ao3. it's not there. it must've been deleted. i am...so sad. i want to read it again, badly. it was about kale's hologram coming back and trying to kill chai. i think he plugged it back in and he didn't expect how strong he'd be? i don't fully remember, sorry. i remember they fought in an office room, hiding behind desks and all that, chai got thrown around a whole lot. thrown into the mimosa stage, i remember that. it was a long winded fight, mostly. i remember chai grabs kale with his scarf near the end and throws them both into the ocean. that's about all i remember. if anyone knows this fanfiction, or if you are the writer, i implore you to give me this story. because i adored it, and i'm sure others did too.

raise a glass to the posts you love that end up deleted. to the fanart and fanfics you lose track of and can't locate. to the blogs you used to look through that ended up unexpectedly disappearing. to the things you didn't archive because you always assumed they'd be there.

Korsica was manning the controls, while Peppermint held onto the sides, catching passing glimpses of logos and posters they’d put up to decorate the walls.
