CHiRAL BEST Nitro+CHiRAL 10th Anniversary (2015)

I was just about over the moon to pick up a sealed (!) copy of this set earlier this year, so I'm happy to finally be able to share it with you all. While it doesn't have every song, it does contain a good selection from the soundtracks for TnC, Lamento, sweet pool, DMMd, & re:code. My fave bit might be Disc 3, which includes Japanese versions of a few of the songs that were originally sung in English!

Chobits is extremely important to me as a love story because It was not only the first anime i watched but it was the first and only asexual romance i had ever seen. And, it wasn't like i was searching actively for them at the age of 10.. maybe subconsciously.

I am someone that does not experience sexual attraction at all. Not under any circumstance, and that is a hard thing to admit even now grown up. It's tough because when i realized, i lost hope for any chance of getting involved in a romantic relationship with anyone, much less marriage. I would always secretly fantasize about "the one" as unrealistic as it was given my circumstances.

Revisiting it now, i fell in love with it all over again. Even though chi is basically a magical robot, it touched me so much that hideki, a virgin human who's obsessed with sex, gave it all up to be with her because he loved her. It gives me hope because maybe i can find my "one" like she found hers. Someone who loves her without the condition of sex.

And it helps that chi is such a cute little character!!! /ᐠ > ˕ <マ ₊˚⊹ 🩷🩷🩷
