9. what was your favorite track from a soundtrack of something you watched this year?

Oh gosh, I’m not really one to listen to songs from soundtracks of things that I’ve watched bc for whatever reason I don’t like being reminded of other things when I’m listening to music.. but I do have an answer for this lol. It’s Hyojin’s OST from True Beauty, Before Today is Over! I didn’t watch the show, but I love this song😅

13. which artist has really surprised you this year? (either by being good or by flopping or by just doing something unexpected)

Well definitely ONF bc they did SO MUCH this year and also are now gone for 1.5 years so lots of surprises from them this year lol..

Also TO1 with their whole rebranding, which was unexpected but exciting!! Really loved Son of Beast by them..

And Drippin as well!! They are a group that I’m really glad I checked out this year:))

15. since it’s the season, what’s your favorite song that reminds you of the holidays?

For kpop, it has to be Coming Home by NCT U, it’s just so pretty I could listen to it on repeat for a long time😅

And for non-kpop, I would probably say White Winter Hymnal, specifically the cover by Pentatonix! It’s a fun one to sing along to:))

cactus: something you’re currently learning (about)?

oh wow SO many new things recently!!! lots of things pertaining to my new job, but i think the most salient lesson for me has been learning how i really hate being alone. i’m a very introverted person, but i also crave social interaction after a certain point of being alone with myself😅 moving to a completely new place where i don’t know anyone has been very eye opening for me in that respect! also bc it’s pride month i’ve been trying to read up on the history of pride and the movements behind it!

camellia: what were you like when you were younger? do you think you’ve changed a lot?

i think i was very eccentric as a child. i was loud and a know-it-all. i liked to be the center of attention and i think i was oftentimes oblivious to the feelings of others. i don’t think i was unkind, i think i didn’t realize how what i was doing/saying was being received by other people. i once asked my friend in middle school how i changed from 6th to 8th grade and she said i’d “calmed down a lot.” i think i’ve had enough people say stuff to me about my big personality over the years that i’ve kind of retracted it within myself and only let people close to me see it. i’m still the same in some ways but i’d like to think i’m more aware of the people in my life and that i’ve grown out of my need to be the smartest person in the room. but i’m also my biggest critic lol
