im nothing if not a theorist of the people. Anyways! if i only have a week left to make TSE theories then why dont we break down something a bit less chatted for! The Posters! most of the posters have cool details to them, or theory potential that doesnt quite break the records but has more then a few times been evidence to theories so why not just do a formal breakdown of them now. this ones got a lot of pictures Ep 3 poster

couple of basic things for this. a concept thats used for alot of Gen 1 is the use of red and green. in this case its red and green light on his legs. it can also be seen on the TFC promo photos for 'Again', the Ep2 trailer, a handful of different scenes, and also on other posters! the other thing cool about the ep 3 poster is how its a direct mirror of the last and first time we see The Hero.

this was the first time we see The Hero from its similarly named youtube promo piece, and at the time there was even theory that he has blood on his hands. Ep 2 poster

The ep 2 poster, im actually here for the posing. its the beginning warehouse shot, but awake and staring off into the middle distance. I have a theory that this image is actually ranboo in idle. We see on a few occasions that actors or employees not in use get 'paused' in place where they can be managed by the production team and dont really perceive time passing. But at the start of every episode we also see ranboo coming out of idle from TV static. The VHS player in the cabin turns off and ranboo wakes up, the TV Puzzler uses turns off and he wakes up, Hetch's several screen pointing at where ep 2 ends, its a consistent case. ranboo thinks that TSE happened over the course of maybe a day and a half, not over the course of a week. The ep1 trailer shows ranboo staring blankly at the TV in the cabin and i think this poster is the same thing. Ep 1 poster

this poster is a bunch of cool tiny details wrapped together and i love it, this is the poster i own. so heres four cool things 1- hes facing the 4th wall but looking directly away from it. 2- this flashlight is on set but he never uses it, instead during the show he shines it in his eyes between audience choices in the basement several times. 3- its designed to look weathered, spirit of the cabin was based off of old horror and its designed like its been sitting in an attic for 50+ years. 4- on the website the poster is right but on physical copies charlie is credited as "Smilecicle" VHS

im deciding to count this one which is on the genloss twitter, based on how even if its not for purchase, this is a poster. its weathered like the Ep 1 poster, and incorporates green light beaming from it on the ground like other works. All of the posters are representative of their episodes but also show direct changes or discrepancies. For Ep1, there was never an involvement of the flashlight. Ep 2 started by him waking up instead of straight from idle. The Ep 3 poster has him standing idle as the final showing instead of restrained (which was actually made into finished concept art before getting scraped to avoid poster spoilers). And finally the founders glove in the poster is more visually appealing in red but the first time we see the founders collection the gloves were black. Least to say, attention to detail is cool and so is @kertoir who made all of this. OK it's been 2 seconds since the last one I'm still going, writing isn't working drawing is unreliable so here are my thoughts/headcanons/ideas about Generation Loss Episode 2!

PART TWO: AD BREAKS

So it's not a character I want to talk about but it's related to a character we all know and love: Squiggles. You know through the episodes where he just pops up and gives little comments about what's going on? I was watching Episode 2 yesterday, and one of Squiggle's little things made me go "oh this is certainly an Idea".

"If you're on mobile, buy a computer! Ha ha."

So I was thinking, what if some of the other comments led into little sponsored ad breaks, or TSE merch? For The World watching, I understand it's not us (because we live in a world where Ranboo is aLive and well *sobs*), but the world of Genloss, what if they got ads? They're all sitting down together watching TV with their dinners on their laps, and then Squiggles comes dancing across the screen just before the puzzle is completed (for context, this was when the audience was solving a puzzle to get GL!Niki and GL!Sneeg through the pipe maze). And everyone's enthralled, they're like oh wow they've almost made it, and Squiggles comes and goes "If you're on mobile, buy a computer! *brand name* laptops available now for 10% off if you call today, at 1800-RANBOO, I repeat, 1800-RANBOO! Now right back to Generation Loss, the Social Experiments!"

(I tried to get the 1800 number to be GENLOSS but it has too many letters)

If I could animate, and I really would like to learn just so I can do this, I would make Squiggles do his little thing, and advertise his products. Like when GL!Ranboo is cutting open GL!Slime, he goes "so that's why he's called Slimecicle!" And then, what if he launches into a toy ad targeted at kids for the Operation set of Slimecicle, as pictured in Generation Loss, for only $49.99! Like they have all these little ads, and they're so annoying for the viewer except all of them are so enthralling, so you have houses of Genloss merchandise and sponsored materials, little figurines of all the characters (Slimecicle's comes in an operating bed, and you can get the merry-go-round for an additional 20 bucks). And all of the boxes have Squiggles there in the corner, smiling and saying something either directly related to the product, or a very generic Showfall Media merch tagline.

It's sick and twisted, because you can buy all these things that are so messed up. I'm only thinking about Episode 2 right now, so I won't even go into Episode 3. But like, you can get Frank, and the figurine of Sneeg has a removable hat, and for the clothes room set you get all these customisable options with wigs and shoes and everything. You can get the revolving door that killed GL!Ethan, and it comes with fake blood! Slime kits that turn red if you download a certain mobile app, for an additional cost.

Once again, this post has evolved from "sponsorship and merch" to "fucked up action figures", but there .you go. I just really like the idea of having brightly coloured lumps of plastic designed for kids and megafans with too much money, but it's about the most fucked up things aspects of the show. But it's all haha funny and haha children, and it's a plague. It's everywhere. Target, Toyworld, supermarkets. Like Barbie or Hotwheels, it's one of the big brands. You can get Lego sets where you get two versions of Ranboo's mask. Screaming face Charlie, and happy normal "duude" Slimecicle. It's all plastic, it's all fake as fuck, but the kids love it, the adults love it, it's so marketable and they have Christmas editions, Halloween editions, and maybe ONE edition for some other holiday that doesn't have strictly Christian roots, for the media's sake. "Showfall Media Displays Diversity In Popular New Doll". Just so no one can say they're not inclusive.

Hi! I saw you were looking for song recs. Can I have some more details about the force quit AU so I can tailor song suggestions better, please?

YES OF COURSE! Fair warning this is a long boy post so be warned SLDFKJ

ok so basically the Force Quit AU is a generation loss au that is a bit self indulgent so bear with me here :D! The self indulgent bit is the addition of another character, Marvin! They are an ex stage hand and set designer for Showfall that was able to escape the company's mind control. They now work from inside the company to help others escape, including Ranboo and his friends. I've taken this little detail for myself and labelled it as Marvin's doing. So basically hes a little helper

ANYWAYS! Force Quit follows canon pretty closely until around the end of The Choice. I have two ways this could go and I havent really decided on which i like better so I'll cover both!

Option 1 is that Marvin sneaks into the control room/heart of the facility as the voting is occurring. Before Hetch makes the call and pulls the metaphorical trigger to box Ranboo, Marvin comes up from behind Hetch and knocks him clean out with a length of pipe. Marvin then gets Ranboo down from where he is stuck and they both run like fucking hell. Both make it out of the facility.

Option 2 involves a little bit of context on some of the ideas I have about Showfall and the Security monsters specifically. So personally I call the Security monsters Taskmanagers! I think its fitting to name it after the computer program.

Additionally, you know Hetch's line where he describes the motionless Showfall employees? He says this: "My best guess is they were once people, and then something moved in and kinda repurposed them to be.. yknow, whatever the company needed."

So I took this and RAN. I came up with a concept that there is a stage before the Taskmanagers we see in Genloss. I haven't come up with a name for them yet. They arent really a "larval form" but more of a base form. Showfall either made a deal with some entity or experimented enough to create these creatures made out of wire and a tar-like substance. They use analog technology as "shells", sort of like hermit crabs. In addition they feed off of electrical signals.

I don't think that they're actively malicious, the company just uses them in an awful way. Anyways the employees will start out as normal people working their jobs. The masks have some filtering and control capabilities but no where as strong as Ranboo's mask since it's not directly connected to the body.

This can change though if the employee discovers something they shouldn't have or if Showfall just wants to do it. An employee can go through a process called "rewiring." There are several degrees to it ranging from a mild degree which involves the process of physically wiring the employee to the mask. This continues until the highest and final degree which is a full rewiring. A full rewiring is when an employee is offered to one of these little wire creatures. The creature, when prompted, will take the employee and inhabit their body. They will feed off of the brain's electrical signals and give Showfall direct control over the host's actions. There is usually no going back from this. This is also inspired by the scene in The Choice where Ranboo stabs an employee and wires come out instead of blood!

For Taskmanagers specifically I think they are originally the result of a botched Full Rewiring process. The host and wire creature did not react well and in turn created the Taskmanagers who are dangerous and actively hostile. Showfall, after accessing damages, realized they could purposefully trigger this botched creation and use them to their advantage, thus creating security.

SO, after that long explaination, onto Option 2! Sorry there's no easier way to explain this, trust me, I've tried.

So Option 2 involves Marvin somehow befriending a "defective" wire creature. Or, alternatively, befriending a defective Taskmanager. I really need to work on a name for the tiny ones gees- Anyways Ranboo is rescued here more by.. uh. Brute force rather than stealth. Here, before Hetch can pull the trigger, Marvin and the wire creature bust through a door or wall koolaid-man style and rescue Ranboo. Admittedly this option makes less sense but I'm still including it because I had the visual of the box beginning to close on Ranboo but two GIANT wire-y hands catch the two sides and WRENCHING it back open. I dont know thats just so cool to me I love big monsters!

Regardless of how the rescue goes, Ranboo escapes and is outside the facility. Marvin in hesitant to join him because of their ongoing mission to save as many people as possible. And Ranboo upon hearing this explains that Sneeg and Charlie are still trapped in there. Marvin is hesitant to believe either of them are alive but Ranboo begs them to at least check. Marvin agrees and returns inside the facility, leaving Ranboo with an address for a place he can spend the night in as well as a small two-way communicator.

Marvin enters back into the facility and discovers that both Charlie and Sneeg are alive. Charlie, however, being wounded by a Taskmanager, has some electronic bits placed into his abdomen. I am working on a design for him at the moment but here's what I'm using for inspiration:

Sneeg, while attacked by security, was not wounded enough to require any replacement parts. He just has a couple of large scars on his torso. The real damage was done during The Warehouse where he was "reset." When Sneeg was reset, he gained awareness of everything Showfall was doing. He could see the cameras and he knew none of this was real. But this comes at a detriment because while he now has an immense amount of "behind the scenes" knowledge about Showfall, Showfall has the ability to completely control him. I'm unsure if this denotes a full rewire or if Showfall is using some experimental remote technology.

Anyways when he was revived after being attacked by the Taskmanager in The Choice, the revival process messed with what the reset did to his mind. The connection between him and Showfall is a little glitchy now. He still has insider information but sometimes he can accidentally trigger a meltdown where he believes he is once again on stage in Showfall. This either manifests itself as that panicked state we saw him in during The Warehouse where he was given the wrong hat OR how apathetic he was immediately after being reset. His perception of reality is distorted as well. Sometimes he can almost predict something before it happens, almost like a sixth sense.

Ok so where was I?? Sorry I took a hard left into infodumping territory. I mean I already am infodumping but i did EVEN MORE! LSKJDFLSKDF

Anyways the AU from here, in short, is saving each member of the cast! Charlie and Sneeg stick with Ranboo and form their little trio. I'm not sure where Niki, Austin, Vinny, and Ethan fall in the AU yet but I do want them to be rescued as well. I just don't know if they will be in the main group after or not!

Ok hopefully that was coherent and not a boring read! But yeah thats the Force Quit AU I love this thing to death already its been occupying all of my waking thoughts! Yay :D!

!! Generation Loss Spoilers !!

If I was a writer for the next stage of Genloss (which I’m not (I wish I was)) here are some of my ideas for plots:

Something you have to understand is we cannot have the horror be around finding out about the facility. It can happen, but I don’t think it should be the main thing. We as the audience already know there is more going on, so we won’t be shocked when it���s revealed. The drama has to be in other aspects of the story. Do we all understand that? Good. Now onto the plots.

The memory erasing doesn’t work, and one of the contestants from the new show remembers the events of gen 1.

The visual filter doesn’t work, and a contestant starts the show being able to see everything as it happens.

Same setup where Hetch pretends to be a hacker, except when he tells the Mc to not worry about the cameras, they worry about the cameras and destroy the cameras. Now with no direct eyes on them, Hetch sets it up so the audience has the help find them while he turns on security. What happens next is largely dependent on how much time it takes for them to be found. I don’t think they make it out of the facility, but I do think they could possibly get very close.

It’s briefly stated that Showfall made missing posters for the contestants in case they escape, so imagine a contestant escapes and finds their missing poster. They follow it, trying to find a family that might be missing them, only to end up back at Showfall.

Have an escaped contestant find Ranboos old jacket. Ranboo said he isn’t coming back to act, so it could be a nice hint that he’s still around. If you want to take it a step further, have them put on the jacket and get gl!ranboos memories to aid them in their journey.

Have someone find the CHAIN CUTTERS that were in the cabin set and use them to break the chain on the door and escape.

Two new villians. The writer and the game maker. The writer is the one who writes and plans all the aspects of the games, while the game maker is the one who designs and implements all of the interactive elements. (Yes I know an actual company does the interactive elements but having a character do them would be cool.) If Hetch is the mastermind, these two are his minions and make sure everything that isn’t the social experiment runs smoothly. I think they kind of act like mini bosses before the big boss. The game maker is also the one making sure the audience can’t see what’s actually happening.

I’ll probably have more ideas in the future, but these are the ones I have for now. Generation loss is so cool and I would love to write for it, but I also know anything the team comes up with will probably be infinitely better then anything I could make.

Notes on Connected. (may 1st, 2023)

sooooo I broke down the newest video for generation loss scene by scene. So this is your final warning for spoilers!!

starts with connecting with three dots going back and forth doing the loading screen thingy. theres a static background

next it says welcome on a black background.

next thing on screen looks a bit like a wormhole, it looks a bit like a scene out of doctor who. theres messages on the screen, says "look into infinity" "you are now worthy" "one of many" it repeats like four times then changes to "one of millions" "one to another" "one to yours" "one to another"

another change still with the worm hole thingy it has what looks like is a title screen reading "Generation One: The Social Experiments" this is something small but I find it interesting that the experiment has an S at the end kinda implying that there have been many of them or there are many going on at the same time.

next it goes to a solid red screen with "GEN 1" in the top left corner.

then it shifts to posters tapped to a wall, from the left most poster to right most it reads "DO NOT WATCH" top has the design for show fall crossed out with an x "lies" underneath middle one says "it has all changed, it has changed everything, it will change everything, I will stop it, DO NOT WATCH" bottom "IT ISNT FOR US" the is is underlined twice and the right one says "IT ISNT A SHOW"

very quickly it shows a man in a suit standing like the "had to do it to them" meme with a white box over his face. Someone pointed out that there might be a show fall pin on his lapel. so this dude it probably someone important in showfall

when it cuts back to the posters except all the posters are covered in missing posters. its hard to see the face of the person, but it could be gl!ranboo because it looks like their shoulder (idk i might be reaching but like it also makes sence for this to be them) in the top corners I think there are also show fall logos. the missing person number to call is 484-749-3255 but! I already called and recored it so I have what is said written down "(mans voice) hello, thank you for calling showfall missing person hot line we appreciate your call, but you are not able to help us. please hang up immediately. *beep* **pause** (lady voice) your voicemail has been sent, goodbye." theres tape connecting the missing posters and it looks like the genloss logo abit

cut to a poster with the showfall logo on it at the top and bottom it says "05 03 23" so May 3, 2023

next thing is the showfall logo with showfall media at the bottom and a man saying "we are happy to welcome you to the showfall media family, please join us for our special keynote on May 3rd at your time." and at the end very quietly he says "there is something going on here"

and that is where the video ends! but in the description there is a link to a website, and the word "Welcome."

I dont remember who but someone pointed out how the showfall logo is making dots appear because of an optical illusion. but yeah! thats a break down of the connected. video. so yeah heres my breakdown of the video i think i may try and do these when possible.

fr fuck the creator - always sucks when it comes out that a person who created fun characters is actually a piece of shit. we love fucked up characters and great designs tho

the whiplash I got its been forever since I was reminded of antisepticeye 😭 I never got into him but fr Sean is just. a really great creator so I'm not surprised that one of his characters would have ya in a chokehold. There's also just something about really fucked up bloody creatures and violence that draws the 11 year old crowd (I know this firsthand lmao)

and oooooo this book sounds interesting!!!! Imma have to check it out - it's always great when a book from childhood sticks with you for so long (and if you draw the fanart of her lemme know I would love to see it!)

FRITTI!!! (yes i stole its name from fritti tailchaser) (it/its) i torture fritti so bad. its so unwell. ace honey if you read this there is a secret i don’t think i’ve told you abt. uh. be warned i guess. ANYWAY! bbygirl is my favourite chew toy. it’s my first dnd character, n it’s a changeling who fuckin. forgot its a changeling. general backstory: it got separated from its fae family somehow n was homeless in some city. it would use its changing abilities to help it survive and when this was discovered by some of the shadier ppl in the area they would basically commission it to steal shit. it used some random tabaxi nobles face to steal most of the time and when it was finally caught (bbygirl put up a Fight) it was sent to a criminals-as-fighters gladiator ring and that’s pretty traumatic so it’s kinda blocked anything from the age of 14 n down (its uh. it’s like 32 or smn now. its only been out for 4 years). it’s ring burned down at one point n it escaped (presumed dead) now it lives in a remote-ish village hunting n baking (art below is it baking) and trying very hard to avoid any of its triggers. it’s so fucked. i love it. i don’t know too much abt the disorders i think it has but in general my idea is it has some hallucinations (psychosis of some flavor?), v frequent nightmares, panic attacks, and definitely ptsd (or would it be cptsd for fucking. whatever 14 years in a gladiator ring does to you?)

TOMMY !!! (he/him) ngl main thing i like abt tommy is his design :3 i just really wanted a kidcore character yknow? and then i gave him Issues And Problems. of course. so he’s a silly little guy with Hella Abandonment Issues. he wears bright colors partly bc he yknow. does actually like em. but also bc in his mind if you’re dressed in bright colors and patterns and accessories, they’ll always be able to see you, and can’t leave you behind. well. not by accident at least. and doesn’t that hurt the most? when you’ve done all you can to stay by their side, to make sure they can never lose you unless they try, and yet you are once again left behind, feeling like that little kid at the grocery store when your parents forgot you, forever. one of these days they’ll keep you around. you hope. (also, tho this isn’t really canon per se, i played a oneshot using him and the premise was we’d all died and were sent to some fucked up afterworld, and we had to figure out How we’d died and i went fuck it he killed himself. anyway !!!!)

REMI !!!! (aka remnants of history !!!!) (he/she) my other dnd character i made and then just. didn’t. do anything with. remi is v strong and not very smart, and really really REALLY wants to be an archaeologist. she wants it so bad. main reason is he wants to be known for Something. making a historical breakthrough? that sounds like a good way to do that! protecting people (shes technically a paladin. no idea what god she’d serve tho)? also a good way! she just wants to be known for something. he was never exactly singled out (for good or bad) at home, and now that he’s out in The Real World he wants to make up for that lack of attention. he just needs Someone.

NERI CALLISIAN!!! (they/he/it) neri is my silly little mc smp character who is a siren (based on ghost/ribbon eels appearance-wise, based loosely on eels as a whole in terms of abilities/disabilities). he likes birds and animals and such a Lot and has made a little aviary where he keeps all his birds :) he also enjoys exploring a lot. in siren terms it’s the equivalent of a lil guy who is fresh out of college or smn. left their school (lived in semi brackish waters all its life) and went up the river to explore. they’re a bit lonely but befriended a local witch and their pixie friend and they drag the two on lil adventures :3 neri is yellow/blue colorblind and really should have glasses but their entire school has fucked up blurry vision so they think everyone’s like that (theyre not). also neri, due to being a siren, has an affinity for singing and also generally just likes it so when out n about he’ll just be humming and such and animals will go O^O ? OwO !! and follow him. the pics are neri vibing w a duck and then also i put it thru a filter that supposedly simulates yellow-blue colorblindness :3

BLANK !!!!! (they/them) oughhhhhb blakn,,,,,,, one of my first like. storied ocs (got one hell of a revamp in like 2022) and i love them so much. so blank is a lil guy who i originally made for camp cgp, an event that the crankgameplays discord server held every (northern hemisphere) summer. it was v cool and i had a blast ngl, 10/10 for that first year. got scared the subsequent ones tho n left. blank was a part of. well. camp blank, one of the sub camps in Camp CGP, which we basically turned into the cryptic, lost, haunted camp full of fucked up cryptids n creatures. blank, like everyone else, used to be human. that was before they got a little too close to the signs that said to stay away. once you start to hear the static, it’s too late. he’s got you. and you are sure as hell not getting back out. you become morphed. corrupted. you can’t go in the sun; it hurts too much, the ashen tears trailing down your cheeks begin to burn anew. the night is when you feel alive again. for the most part, blank is a merciful ruler. bonfires, chants, feasts… the fun activities you’d expect at a summer camp are fairly common. there’s a lake nearby. sometimes you all go night swimming. the gongoozler sometimes comes up to play with you all. it can be lovely. but then, someone will get too jumpy, too homesick, too bored, too something, and they’ll try to run, and you will never see them again. that is, provided you ignore the fresh new roast at the next weeks feast. the static hurts your ears sometimes. you feel a little lost every so often when you realise you can’t see. you used to be able to. you have to force yourself to stay. you know the consequences of fleeing. it’s better to stay. it’s better to stay. it’s better to stay. stay in the static, in the moonlight, in the cheerful (sometimes too cheerful) voices rising high in the night. in the morning you will go to sleep and you will dream of going home and you will wake up and know you cannot. never. you are trapped, forever stuck in this hellish limbo.
