Chapter 5

I went home with an extra pep in my step, resisting the urge to hop, skip and frolic around like a cutsie whimsical princess or something.

I shut the door to my room and kicked off my shoes, plopping into bed, stomach first with my legs kicking behind me.

I decided against texting Dave- and Karkat and John for that matter, because I didn’t wanna come off as weirdly clingy and desperate for “friendship”. Besides, they’re still working anyway. So instead, I go to text the group chat so I can report the good news.

It takes a few seconds before anyone answers but like always, Roxy is the first to respond.

yeah we would recommend to just say they're relating to said celebrity unless they are talking about a character in a movie or show then it'd definitely be leaning towards fictionkin since the character would be fictional! if they are just relating to said character, they might be leaning towards what we call a synpath more than a kin which is a label we use for certain characters that we don't really have strong ' this is me ' energy and more of ' i relate to them in certain aspects ' kind of way! i doubt this would be the case but there is factkinning which we simply frown upon because its utterly disrespectful to claim you are this actual living being and trying to pose as them for whatever reason. its definitely something we haven't seen in AGES so again, i really doubt that's what you are dealing with but just a heads up if they say something of the sorts! we hope this helps!
