SUPER MARIO RPG!

...I know you've probably seen tiktokers and youtubers freak out about this already but this moment will never not be a moment to celebrate!

It actually happened. Never in my lifetime did I think I would see this day. My co worker, who also grew up playing SNES and this is his fav game, came up to me after watching the Nintendo direct and said...

"cary what is the one game we want to see a remaster of?"

I thought for a bit and really couldn't come up with anything (Mario RPG was so off the radar I didn't even consider it) So he was like...

"REALLY??? WHAT'S THE ONE GAME..."

He didn't even finish talking and I blurted out MARIO RPG??!?!?!?

Still now I hardly believe it's real. This is a game that helped define me. The guide book I have has worn out pages because I spent so much time drawing things from it. The first time I played it was on my dad's busted old black and white tv... I'm not that old we just didn't have a lot of money back then hahaha. This was the game that made me fall in love with Mario lore... and possibly lore in general. I even had Mario RPG songs on my MP3 players growing up!

I can't wait to play this! I can't wait to see all the unique characters again. The Axem Rangers, Jinx, Gaz and his dolls, Belome... my goodness this is amazing!

Here's one thing that stood out that made me happy:

As soon as I saw Mario do that pose with Mallow it reminded me of that picture of Mario finding the hammer from the guide book. Just made me smile to see the game come full circle and become the same as the old official artwork. Speaking of the guide book artwork...

I REALLY hope when you equip a new article of clothing you get to see it on the character. As a kid I always imagined the team wearing them!

To end this post I've heard a lot of people saying they hope for new content/dlc or something. I'd enjoy that but I'm okay with a true remaster. That being said, I saw two things I didn't recognize from the original game. One was Geno and Mallow on a rainbow road. I figured maybe that was some sort of change to star road's design? The other I don't remember at all!

...I don't remember any time when Mallow and Mario ride in the clown car? Maybe I'm wrong and it's around Boosters tower?

Dumb post is fucking dumb.

1. Ned's story makes no sense, and the foreshadowing and prophecies would be pointless, without the reveal that Jon is Aegon. The prophecy of the promised prince mirrors the legend of Azor Ahai, who killed his lover Nissa Nissa. It's probably the biggest plot point of the story actually.

2. NK was never hyped as the biggest bad. A major theme of the story is that humans are the real monsters. As a major antagonist, however, he did take out a fuckton of people and had some of the best scenes in the show, so it really is only fitting the death-conquering badass assassin Arya gets to take him out, after an episode long battle, and with the catspaw dagger no less. Incredible attention to author's intent and symbolism.

3. Cersei was being Cersei. She never changed, never gave an inch. Dany was always the ultimate tragic villain. Sorry you ungrateful fucks couldn't see that coming a mile away.

4. This one pissed me off the most. How dare you? The writers went out of their way to make sure Jaime got every fucking bit of character development possible while remaining true to himself all the while and giving him what he wanted: dieing in her arms and filling up those frickin pages Geoffrey was such a cunt about. Did we even watch the same show? THE THINGS I DO FOR LOVE??? Read the books if you're so starved for character development.

5. It's not like Bran saved the whole kingdom by becoming the three eyed raven and then was made king for it or anything...

Guess you're still too upset about fast travel and Starbucks cups to appreciate the brilliance and complexity of her arch???

10. You didn't get what you wanted. Your predictions sucked. D&D don't share GRRM's Midas Touch. I get it, you're disappointed. I am too. I wanted 10 episodes, hour and a half long episodes, a battle between Jon and Greyworm, I wanted Tyrion and Jon to talk Dany out of blasting KL just to have Cersie blow the shit up anyway so that Jaime would have reason to choke her out and realize he loves Brienne but die from his wounds anyway. I wanted the NK and Jon to fight it out before Arya saves his life and does the thing, I wanted Bran to warg Drogon. AND I WANTED ELEPHANTS DAMNIT. We all had expectations. But your complaints are fucking bogus, immature, copied from the millions of complaints of idiots who didn't even read the books and think a petition will make HBO remake an entire season when they've made their money already.
