haricot heretic is a very unserious name that I made up on the fly when I was like 15. I could absolutely come up with a name I’d like better now, but I WONT because the in-universe reason that haricot uses that name is important to me. he took the stupid little nickname his girlfriend called him in highschool & tied it to his new identity, with it sometimes acting as the only thing connecting the undead supervillain to whoever cypress o’malley was. alder is dead & cypress is dead but the thing that grew from cypress still clings to that name. hehe
