So!!!!! Other than tododeku bakudeku was also one the first ships I'd started reading about and I loved and still do.

I have Many Thoughts and I'll try to organise them but it's gonna turn into a ramble anyways so!!!!

At first I didn't really get the appeal of bakudeku other than angst (mostly because I didn't really like bakugou for like a couple episodes in the beginning) but then I read a few of the fics where bakugou faced Consequences™ or something happened to Izuku and Bakugou felt things, mostly guilt and tried to be better or whatever and then I saw their relationship develop in the manga and I also saw Bakugou change a bit and hHHHHhH lemme say all of that was a gamechanger in how I saw Bakugou as a character and how I saw their relationship.

After that I dug up any and all hurt comfort I could find some of them were good some of them were bad and some of the ones I thought wouldn't vibe with me turned out to be really interesting and nicely written so I was sold on those.

And then I got around to reading the platonic stuff and let me tell you this. Them as childhood bestfriends is such a chaotic concept I love it. Like a day or two ago I literally went through the whole tag of 'Katsuki Bakugou and Midoriya Izuku are Good Friends' and QJDHAKDHAKDHS YES. JUST YES.

Also for the unhealthily+I'm picky about it thing, I read this one fic a while ago where Izuku and katsuki were in a relationship but it wasn't really great for both of them because Izuku didn't communicate and Katsuki didn't notice anything till it was too late and then they talked about it took some time away from each other, realised their mistakes and got back again and honestly it was very much hurt then comfort kinda fic but it was really well executed so if there's fics like that I'd read it, but if it straight up just bleh kinda toxic I won't vibe with it at all. (Im saying this after trying to read a fic where Izuku was a manipulative boyfriend to katsuki and I dropped that one really quick because ah I can't see characters being portrayed like that shdhajdhskdh especially considering that Izuku is a comfort character for me shdshh) so yeah I won't really look fort the unhealthy fics but if I come across one with a fine enough plot I might give it a shot depending on how I'm feeling.

Other than that childhood friends to lovers is a fuck yea. Childhood friends to rival to lovers in also the same and QJDHAJDHAK MUTUAL PINING. GDI THAT SHIT GETS ME EVERY TIME.

In canon they're basically best friends in a sense. Or at least really close friends. Won't be a ship at all but platonic friendship is definitely there.

An Innocent Sin & the good gay flashback ft. my descent into madness

I wasn’t sure if I should post this but I mostly want it archived so here we go. This is from like,, September?

So. “An Innocent Sin” is a dumpster fire unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I don’t remember why I decided to read it. maybe I was crazy. Either way... I read it. It soon started to touch upon (very very outlandish) sexual abuse which I thought was interesting. (the angst, not so much some of the wack circumstances surrounding it)

ANYWAY. at some point... we have a flashback. And not just that. It has a gay character.

And it turns rly gay. which mind you, is still in a het smut manwha (that has a “gay” side couple, but still!)

And it destroyed me.

For those who want to read it because I genuinely think the flashback is a decent bit, it’s all the bonus chapters between chapter 77 and 78 I think. There’s a part before that too, but idk where exactly anymore. (It’s on lezhin! or your platform of choosing)

I don’t THINK you’ll need any other knowledge to get the flashback bit? but it’s been a while.

Because I NEVER even once, stopped adoring her muses - their Drayden will forever be my favorite. IM SORRY, not sorry! I look fondly back at our Drake/Drayden and just hhhhhhh my feelin heart! If you really love writing, it’s something that your soul needs. It’s not just some hobby or whatever. You need it, like people need to eat, or sleep. So fight for it.

Lmao what’s worldbuilding. Jkjk. Basically I just pick stuff from the real world. All my worlds are pastiches of what I need.

30. Do you like to read books similar to your project while you’re drafting or do you stick to non-fiction/un-similar works?

I noticed that I tend to avoid books that are way too similar, because I guess it messes up my creative brain waves or whatever you call that. Just until the end of the first draft, though.

Yes! There are so many of them to name but I really love all my writeblr mutuals.

I share the polished version of my rough drafts (mostly the first chapters) because I am a goblin who needs validation.

I try to make time, but then I mess up, and then my brain goes hhhhhhh so I pick up a pen or smth. I need to write, yo.
