AHHH WELL…. it’s tough anon….. i feel like calling him selfish almost paints him in a bad light but i truly don’t see his selfishness as a bad thing 😭 suguru’s love is very very tender, but it’s kind of… rooted in his own need for devotion. if that makes sense. suguru craves to care for you, y’know? it’s all about you, yes, but it’s all about you because that’s what he wants… what he needs… he feels complete when you let him love you. he feels happy when you’re happy. so really it’s all about him, but all that’s running through his mind is you you you…. if that? makes sense???

like. at the end of the day. all suguru wants is to be the one who stands at your side. and he will fight for that position, as opposed to someone like gojo who i think would slink into the shadows if he thought it was best for you….. if your relationship was making you miserable then obviously suguru wouldn’t want you to stay, but. the thing is that he does make you happy. he sees it as his duty and it’s not a duty he’d ever give away to someone else, even if they could love you in ways he couldn’t... suguru is determined to be worthy of you!!!! he needs you and he needs to love you, to make you happier than anyone else. it’s a strong, selfish desire but that doesn’t make it bad!!!

this is a gross oversimplification really but in my brain it’s kinda like….. gojo wants you to be happy. and suguru wants to make you happy. you know??

@snazzy-jas-z-is-a-fan-of came up with SO MUCH of the possible politics and family ties of this au, it was incredible to watch and I think I finally understand enough to post about it 😂 there’s a balance of power between the two branches of Evermore royalty, which balance is shifting slowly to the Moriyamas and by the end of the story belongs solely to them with Ichirou as king. I’ll try to explain it in a different post if there’s interest

(And lest we go a day without Abram angst: he does in fact get his brand and more, when he’s taken back to Evermore and Riko takes the chance to reclaim his property ‘like he should have done to begin with’.)

Blogtemober Day 2: Newest Askblog OC

I ended up being way too busy during the first week of September to actually continue Blogtember… So decided I could turn it into Blogtober instead!

Anyway, for this prompt, here’s Pablo! He’s technically not my newest OC that exists within one of my askblogs’ universes, but he’s the newest that I actually plan on having appear on the blog rather than just as some background lore. He’s just a little guy, works at the same cafe as Begonia.

lol im so mad. actually thought up the perfect piece of art that would fit both the spooky vibes of halloween and also is a really important character concept that i've wanted to share for a long time but of course. of COURSE i try to draw it and it just feels bad and i can't even finish a rough sketch.

i just wanted to get something done before the night is over but i dont think that will happen. i'm too upset over how difficult the sketch ended up being and now i dont even want to try and fix it/continue working on it :c
