Listen. No, listen, okay. they have done a LOT of fucked up things to food but they have to stress MOST OF IT ACTUALLY TASTES PRETTY GOOD. They’re not out here causing food poisoning every day.

Most of it is ‘outside the box thinking’ with strange ingredients that you’d expect out of an empty pantry (because for so many years that’s what they had to work with, because po town was poor as SHIT for most of their life), but most of it TASTES PRETTY OKAY.

After all, in order to mess with a recipe, you have to master it first
