I was looking for signs of spring but I only found wintery grey and muddy puddles. please 4 minutes of winter sun, save me... at least my new hat provides some whimsy <:)

mary oliver activities as of late:

went to the park to look for flowers

watched a bunch of ducks

delighted when I found a bunch of crocus leaves

vowed to go back every day to check (went to check today! ...no blossoms yet)

stood with my face turned towards the sun for a few minutes whenever I could

watched a squirrel be cute (their paws?? adorbs!)

delighted by watching the blue little birds in the yard (they look tiny)

santa monica promenade, ahh the weather was sooo nice

still in recovery but I'm making progress! slow and steady wins the race or smth

I definitely overdid it last weekend when M and I had friends over for a visit, but especially with the weather this nice I couldn't stay home while everyone else was out exploring (but I listened to my body and sat down when I couldn't walk anymore and I listened to my friend and asked for a wheelchair at the museum)
