Cryptid of the Day: Hessie

Description: Hessafjorden, Norway has its own lake monster, plainly known as Hessie. Described as 80-100ft long with the face of a snake. On June 2nd, 1999, one witness claimed to have seen the monster through a pair of binoculars.

Fell down the rabbithole of The Season by Linnetagain recently, and the latest chapter has me by the throat. Had to doodle this scene.

Hestia, babygirl, they can't even kiss and you're calling them out harder than Karlach did Astarion 2 chapters ago.

So I found a great photoshoot of early 90s Crowded House goofing around and giving straight-up vibes of a nearly-failed family photo-op, to where it’s incorrect quote worthy. Like, look at this -Paul is NOT having it with posing for the camera, at all, no matter what Nick and Neil do!

And then Mark Hart shows up, and it’s suddenly all cool, even though Mark isn’t quite sure what on Earth he walked into at first. Because Mark is awesome! (And between all he did to help both Crowded House and Supertramp, he totally deserves more love!)

Neil’s like, “Oh, I see how it is…”

And finally, a couple of semi-successful takes.
