Petty Frost is very funny. Considering that he's upset that his friends beat him up with rocks and didn't seem to care at all makes it less funny, given Frost's insecurities

He's likely wondering if they care about him. Like, I'm sure he understands that they were all under some kind of magical influence, so he doesn't begrudge them for their actions. However, once the magical effects wore off, they didn't apologize or seem remotely remorseful. Remember when Frost attacked Gricko as a vampire, he freaked out and apologized profusely.

I think Frost would try to reason with himself. As he often would, warring with his needless emotions. We already know he fears being abandoned. His friends seemingly not caring that they almost killed him is going to make Frost think they don't want him around anymore.

Consider this with the fact that he tries to connect with Torbek after Kremy says he doesn't believe Torbek saw what he saw. That was a fun little scene, and it fits with Frost's background. I appreciated him offering to help ease Torbek's mind over it as that kind of stuff can be hard to rationalize

Thinking about Frost seeing a kinship with Torbek. Obviously, Frost has not suffered the same ridicule as Torbek, but, in his mind, his friends no longer care for him, so he starts to engage with Torbek more. Frost has already complained of the guys not listening to him anymore, so their lack of remorse really drives the point home for him---has less value to them now

Frost sees their friendship as almost transactional in a way. In that, if they don't need him, they'll leave him behind---that's how he thinks they think, at least (which is valid bc Kremy is like that)).

Now, is all that true? No, I don't think so. The krew is very weird, but they all care about each other in their own ways. Tho, in my opinion, the only person Kremy cares about is Gideon. If something were to happen to the others, damn that sucks, but oh well

Again, that being said, it's what Frost believes bc of his fears. It's not true, but with the flawed way he views his friendships (i.e., transactional), he sees their recent treatment of him as Well you have no value to us anymore

He likely thinks that they'll abandon him once they're done in the Feywild (he's mentioned this fear before and they said they weren't going to leave him, but things have changed since then).

I have a fic in mind that deals with some of these things and episode 58 (which I'm not done with yet), has helped give me more ideas for it! (basically the why of the fic, bc I have everything else)

i have thoughts about the fact that janus consciously chooses to rise up, even though he's clearly unused to it and doesn't have to, considering virgil still just pops in even though he has cemented his spot as a light side. it's as though despite the fact that he's still being antagonistic, he's consciously doing things that will make the rest of the sides let him in more, to see him less as 'the villain'. he's an asshole, but he wants to be accepted REAL bad.

idk if i wanted to say this bcs im scared! but! unpopular opinion: its ok to hate lu guang! like ik some people r gonna say that nobody ever said that lg cant be hated, but i saw a person getting pqrt'd bcs they said they were slightly frustrated at lg, or smth like that. and tbh that gave me flashbacks to my previous fandoms that are toxic... i dont want link click to end up like that!!

lu guang is the character that makes us question our morals. which is great. he's our protagonist, but he also does things that are "evil" to save cxs. i remember someone saying he's amoral. i agree. and its ok to support him.

but it's also ok to despise him after a certain answer from a recent interview that . it depends on every person. i have to admit, i also despise him a little.

in a recent interview, the director (i believe) said that changing the timeline caused emma's ending and ltc's appearance to change.

perhaps this is bcs i was thought it this way, but bcs ltc appearance changed, it implies that it affected qian jin, chen bin, liu min, etc to change too. (i was thought event 1 can become the cause to event 4, 5, etc... maybe thats also the butterfly effect? idk!)

now i want to focus on emma's ending. if emma dying is caused by lu guang changing the timeline, its normal to be mad at him! heck, maybe u might even hate him. like i imagine being in emma's parents' shoes. imagine someone one day reveals that a guy who changed the timeline for their lover caused ur daughter to die, i'd be so mad! yes, its unintentional. but as a human, it's normal to get mad at him! how dare u change the point in time where my daughter's fate will change?

also, he should be aware of that drastic consequence. OK ILL STOP NOW.

but also also, again, its ok to still support him. This is coming from a person who personally likes vein. who even likes vein? hes a villain who is a lot more fucked up than we think! meant to be hated! hahaha.

also.. for the ppl who think im writing this bcs lg (?) killed vein and i like vein, i expected vein to die actually.. he's way too strong for season 1 and 2 cxs and lg to stay alive HAHAHA. i always wondered why he never came after them in this tl if he is alive? so my conclusion was that he mustve died or broke his legs or smth idk. him being revived makes sense why he doesnt go after them by s1 and s2. BUT THATS ANOTHER STORY ILL TALK ABT IN A DIFFERENT POST PERHAPS 😭😭 im getting sidetracked SORRY
