it's hard for me to say i ship them because to meeee "shipping" characters means mashing them together like barbie dolls, and there is actually no mashing at all that i would care for dr. shaw and the david 8 model aboard the ucss prometheus to engage in at all

that said yes of course obviously i am obsessed w their relationship. with their inversion of creation/creator. with david's patholigical mythologizing of her, making her his christ figure, his eve, and his virgin mary.

that said. i have of course read the now-deleted Persephone like fifty times. goes without saying. i actually read it so many times that i blacked out and spent three months writing my own version of events based around the concept that david's cognitive functioning would devolve as his blood continued to drain out from his neck and he was unable to maintain his system's usual homeostasis. so the concept was that shaw kept him as a severed head for a few weeks until he was basically inoperable, and their relationship developed, and finally she did fix him because she couldn't bear the thought of losing him. and then he killed her. it was really good if i do say so myself but i never finished it.
