So on the topic of what is dan not afraid of, my theory is that he’s afraid of everything that an Australian shouldn’t because he is a mama’s boy (affectionate)

In the podcast where he tells the story of the neighbour’s dog chasing him and his mom hearing him shout and opening the door for him to run in, he also says he didn’t surf like his friends used to because his mom was afraid of sharks and didn’t let him in the ocean. He’s been Grace’s precious boy so most probably every little crawly, it was mama or papa to the rescue. He most prob still calls dad whenever there’s anything to handle on the farm.

Which also really beg the question, how did grace let her allergy-riddled scared of dogs son with that big poof of hair move to Europe on his own at 17?
