Me and My Bike by Ander is a unique read about a boy who wishes on his grandfather's magic lamp for a new bike, his is old and too big for him. Instead his friend gets a new bike. He ends up helping his friend get around and having fun until they have an accident. He then gets it in his head that he will get a new bike with good grades. When his report card comes his mom is so proud but has to explain to him why a bike is not in the cards for them but to be happy with what they have. Instead he asks for crayons and he fixes up his old bike. He then changes his wish... to grow up! It is not impossible to reach dreams coming from lower income but it is more difficult. It takes a bit of maturity, understanding, patience, and perseverance. I loved the illustrations and the texture of the paper in the book but I love the story most. ⭐Published by Heryin.
