My mom is talking about how worried she is abt her failing eyesight and having to go on disability (my parents are barely coasting on funds as is) (this isn't a theoretical my mom will completely lose hersight within 5 years

BY THE TIME SHE WOKE UP something seemed off. the brunette frowned, lifting her head up to touch at her forehead and push away the stray stands of hair that fell across her face - but it was impossible to do so as her hand seemed to be stuck in place. Lily tried once more just to come to the same conclusion, and once again just to make sure. she was stuck. her limbs locked up in place by something that she couldn't see. her haze eyes blinked, trying to chase away the fogg from her faze only to realise that it was too dark for her to see much except for a blinking blue light somewhere far above her & reflected off of the few shiny surfaces in the room along with the silky fabric of the red dress she still wore from the party. how long had passed since then? what happened after she drank too much wine? "what the fuck." the young woman muttered softly, confusion filling her veins but no panick hitting just yet. that was possibly what shocked her the most in the moment, along with how blurred hersight seemed to be. something was off. something was definitely wrong. "hello?" Lily yanked her arms and legs, trying to test if the binds holding her in place would loosen - but no such luck. "let me go!"
