Very much inspired by this !!
â
Phantasm crashed into the side of a building, the rest of his team- the TeenTitans- stayed back. They were otherwise occupied, with the rest of the H.I.V.E. five attacking them.
They'd gotten a new member, one with a similar, nearly identical power set of their own new member.
Phantom.
Phantasm and Phantom, two mirror look alikes, they went absolutely feral whenever one was in sight. It was driving Robin mad, Beast Boy had joked about cloning but after they started to actually consider that option.
"Well, well, well." Phantom mocks, glowing green to Phantasm's red.
"Shut. The fuck. Up." Phantasm charges again, throwing the other into windows with a growl.
They kept bickering, hitting and injuring each other, untilâ
"Stop being so annoying!" Phantasm shouts, baring his fangs. Phantom, in return, stuck his tongue out.
"You're just jealous I got the Villain role!!"
At this point, their respective teams had called a draw and watched them fighting.
"You're a lousy villain!"
"I'm having the time of my life beating the shit out of you actually."
"I'm calling jazz."
At that, Phantom starts glaring. "I thought we agreed on not bringing this up to our sister?"

Not an ask, I just wanted to tell you I love, love, LOVE your snippets. It always makes me happy to see a new post by you on my dash, then I know I'm in for a treat. I especially love your villains, they're so much more than just "the bad guy". I always find myself wanting to know more about them, even though they send a chill down my spine and I know I'd be terrified to run into them in a dark alley at night. Thank you for sharing your genius!
"Has anyone ever told you that it's a dangerous idea to walk down dark alleyways alone at night?"
The villain was well-concealed in the crisp evening, leaned slim as a shadow against the wall.
The air stank of a mixture of oncoming snow and the garbage bags piled up and threatening to spill. It wasn't, the hero thought, the sort of place that really suited the villain. They seemed the type best made for pristine conference rooms and expensive penthouse lairs. Spacious. Glittering. Cold, corporate monstrosity.
"Yes," the hero said. "But then I wouldn't have the pleasure of running into you, would I?"
"Is that what this is?"
"You don't think so?"
"I'm always a delight, but few fully recognise that facet of my personality. Most instead, should they choose to see me in a dark alleyway, walk swiftly in the opposite direction."
"Mm." The hero shook their head. "I admit, your general habit of instilling terror in everyone can sometimes overpower other impressions."
"But not with you."
"Oh, I'm crapping myself. Speaking of. If I aim my phone at you so I can see you properly are you going to hiss at me like a feral cat, eyes glinting, and scurry away? Or am I just going to spontaneously combust for daring to look at you? The rumours vary."
"No one would ever dare call me a feral cat, dear."
"Not in as many words. But you are sort of lurking in the shadows and stalking me, so I think its apt."
The villain snapped their fingers. A ball of light appeared shining at the tips, illuminating the few metres between them. None of the usual rats or cockroaches went skittering away from the villain's immaculate shoes, everything was eerily still, so the hero figured they (like most creatures) were smart enough to keep their distance. Vanish somewhere else, if they could. Hold their breath. Hide.
The hero eyed them and resisted the urge to move closer.
The villain offered a soft, mocking, snake-like hiss.
"You wanted to see me," the hero said instead. "At least, I assume that's why you're lurking outside of my workplace and doing the aforementioned stalking routine. You could come inside, you know. I don't bite."
"I do."
"You're not beating the feral cat allegations."
"If I came inside, your colleagues would pass out or start screaming. It would be a whole thing and I'm not working right now."
"Well-" The hero had no good answer to that. 'It would make my shift go faster' was not a good answer. "Anyway. My break is only ten minutes. What do you want?"
"To see you," the villain said. "Talking with you is a debatable experience."
"Wow, rude."
"You followed me out here. I was happy looking."
"Well, I wasn't just going to leave you to it!"
"Most people wouldn't notice."
"Good for most people," the hero huffed. "Do you want an autograph and a picture so you could take it away and maybe the photo would last longer than looking at me?"
"Yes, if you're offering."
The hero stared at them. The villain stared back.
"...I'm not offering," the hero said, after a beat. "God knows what you'd do with my signature."
The villain snorted. Their head tilted as they studied the hero, twirling their fingers idly, making the light shift and cast the world in strange uneasy fragments.
"Come to dinner with me," the villain said, after a long moment. "After your shift."
"I thought talking with me was a debatable experience."
"Yes. And I'm debating."
"Does inviting people to dinner normally work for you after you insult them?"
"Yes."
"Because most people are afraid to say no."
"Yes."
"No."
The villain smiled. At least, in the light, it looked suspiciously like a smile. There and gone in an instant. The hero couldn't tell if it reached the villain's eyes, cast in the alleyway gloom as they still were. It shouldn't have made a thrill run down the hero's spine, but it did.
"Another night," the hero said. "Maybe. When I'm not working."
"You're always working, be it here or in your adorable crime-stopping ways."
"Adorable doesn't win you any points either."
"I'm not trying to win points with you."
"But you're trying to take me to dinner. Why?"
"Novelty. I make a point to invest heavily in my own amusement."
"And I'm amusing you."
"You're...intriguing me. Whether you say yes or no," the villain said. "So entirely up to you if you want the free dinner or not."
"I can afford my own dinner."
"Is that why you're so skinny?"
"Again," the hero said, because the only other option was to be rendered speechless at the villain's audacity. "Rude."
"Politeness is for people too weak to say and do what they like. Dinner on Wednesday then?"
"They say you're horrifying. No one told me you were also insufferable."
"Well, most people are attached to keeping their tongues, so that's not really surprising." The villain continued, waving a dismissive hand, before the hero could possibly respond to that nightmarish gem of a comment. "They say you're generally brave and lovely, but five minutes alone with you already makes it clear that there's something desperately wrong with you or you would never have followed me here."
The hero spluttered.
"Death wish?" The villain asked curiously. "Adrenaline junkie? I didn't think you were especially stupid, but it's hard to tell watching you from the other side of the street."
"You really are something, huh."
The villain flicked the light off their fingers in the hero's direction in response. When the light reached them it didn't hurt, only popped like a bubble against their nose. They were plunged into darkness.
When the hero raised their phone, the villain was off the wall and right there in front of them.
The hero sucked a sharp breath, eyes going wide.
"As are you," the villain said. "Most people would have flinched."
The hero swallowed.
They felt suddenly infinitely aware that the silent darkness was also beneath the villain's power, as much as the light was, swallowing up every inch of space around the two of them one way or another. Who knew what was the villain's and what was just there.
Dangerous to walk down a dark alley indeed, as if it was the dark or the alley that was the real problem.
The hero had never felt so damningly alive.
"Wednesday," the hero said. "Tell me where to meet you."
"It's a date."
The rest of their shift passed in a blur.

After pestering him for days, you finally convince Dabi to pierce your tongue.
Beforehand, heâs taunting you the whole time saying âItâs gonna hurt really badâ are you sure you still want to?â getting a kick out of seeing you nervous.
However, once itâs time for the act, heâs surprisingly gentle as he tilts your head to face him just right and he directs you on what to do. His voice is soft, but stern.
âStop moving.â
You start to realize how intimate this all is once heâs up close to you, lining up the needle. The two of you catch eyes for a moment, âTake a deep breath for me⊠and breathe out.â as he pushes the needle through, securing the jewelry in place. You blink a few times, not even realizing itâs over.
âNot so bad, huh?â he asks, putting aside all the tools while you look in the mirror.
You go to ask him what he thinks about it, but barely get the question out before heâs kissing you â something he was fighting the urge to do the entire time.

The hero is taking their nephew trick-or-treating tonight for the first time, and theyâre a bit nervous. Their nephew, Danny, is a great kid and well-behaved. The hero just isnât used to acting as a guardian.
But as the afternoon begins, they start to relax as they see how much fun Danny is having. They watch as he runs up to a rather nice house, returning moments later with candy.
Then the hero sees the homeowner motion for them to come closer. They see that familiar formâalmost seeming misplaced in civilian clothingâand their heart drops. Out of all the people they couldâve encountered⊠they just had to find the villain.
Gritting their teeth, the hero tells their nephew to run to the next house and stay within eyesight⊠before they walk up to the doorstep of the villainâs house.
âI didnât realize you had a child,â the villain hums casually.
âDonât,â the hero warns them.
âWhat?â The villain asks, having the audacity to look offended. âIt was just an observation.â They blink innocently.
âHeâs my nephew.â The hero spits out. They must be doing a bad job of hiding their distrust, because the villain sighs theatrically.
âTrust me, if I were up to something, youâd know,â the villain huffs. âBesides, I have⊠other priorities tonight.â They glance to the side and, in a few seconds, a child heads towards the doorway. The hero blinks. This must be the villainâs child.
âUm. Hi.â The hero says awkwardly, still reeling from the realization that the villain has a child.
The kid has the same eyes and nose as their parent. The resemblance is startling. âThatâs a bad hero costume,â they remark helpfully. âYouâre missing the amulet.â
They are missing their amulet, ironically. The hero self-consciously puts a hand to their collarbone before sighing. The villain looks endlessly amused, and also a bit wary of themâas if worried about their behavior in front of their child. The hero resists an eye roll at that, before glancing down the sidewalk. Their nephew is running back to them, bouncing on his heels impatiently as he evidently wonders whatâs taking them so long.
âHi,â the hero greets their nephew, placing a hand on his shoulder. He settles down a little, but still looks eager to go to the next house.
âHi.â He answers. Then he looks curiously at the other child and smiles at them. The villainâs child smiles ever so slightly in response. The hero studies them for a moment, taking in those familiar hazel eyes on someone far more innocent and pure hearted than their enemy. Then they notice the kidâs costume and the slight frown on their lips and wonder if the villain has taken them trick or treating yet. It doesnât look like it, actuallyâand that would explain the envious glances the kid is shooting at Danny.
âYou know,â the hero says, crossing their arms over their chest. Theyâre already making the offer before they can think about it. âI was going to take Danny here trick-or-treating anyways⊠Iâd be happy to take your child too.â
The villain studies them for a long, long time. The tense silence is only broken by a movement from the child at their side, who hesitates for a moment before crossing the threshold of the doorway and standing next to Danny.
âDo you want to go with them, Kel?â The villain asks; their child nods brightly in response. The villain lets out a long-suffering sigh, turning their attention to the hero. âVery well. Iâm trusting you to ensure their safety.â
âOf course,â the hero responds sincerely. âIâll have them back by curfew at 7.â
â6:30,â the villain argues.
The hero squints at them skeptically, before glancing down at their watch. Itâs only 4:45 p.m. Thatâs plenty of time. âFine.â They agree.
âIf anything happens to them-â The villain starts.
âI know,â the hero interjects, before they can utter any threats in front of the children.
âIâm trusting you,â their enemy repeats gravely. âDonât make me regret it.â
The hero nods, understanding just how much faith the villain is placing in them. Then an idea comes to mind. âGet your phone out.â The villain stares at them for a moment, before doing as requested. From there, the hero gives them their phone number. Then they reach into their own pocket and turn their phoneâs ringer on. âOkay?â They ask, looking at them pointedly. The message is clear: Call me if you need anything.
The villain is staring at them with a complex expression on their face. âOkay.â They respond. Then they look to their child. âHave fun, alright?â
With that, the hero turns their back on the villain and watches as their nephew and their enemyâs child excitedly race ahead to the next house. They can feel the villainâs gaze watching them, even as they turn the corner and head out of sight.

I forgot about this.
The whole reasoning behind the Supervillain Danny AU sketches was that his villain persona was the complete opposite of his normal, sane self and hero persona. Danny plays into the Fenton name really hard, and ramps up the âmad scientistâ bit, taking inspiration from both his normal civilian life and his parents, thus using just his last name as a villain.
And then I wanted to add what Sam and Tucker might look like if they joined in on his shenanigans. To keep with the âopposite of their normal lifeâ bit, letâs throw in some ghostly artifacts that help the two keep up with Fentonâs madness.
Sam would get an angelâs halo that helps her form ghostly wings, and sheâd play into the good-two shoes angelic look, and then she opens her mouth and verbally assaults you. She pins her bangs back and wears clothes that better fit a celestial aesthetic and uses all the etiquette training her parents taught her. Manson looks like some sort of regal angel and people expect her to be the nicest out of all of them. Sheâs not. Manson is the sneakiest and most bloodthirsty one, and heroes regularly wonder if she has actually committed murder or not.
Tucker takes inspiration from his time as a pharaoh. He has a metal postiche that enhances his physical ability. (Maybe it gives him dreadlocks too, but I like to think Tucker is just wearing a whole ass wig.) He wears a strange mix of street wear and his pharaoh outfit, and throws his tech-obsessed self out the window. Fenton is the nerdy one here, so now Foley is the muscle. Foley plays up meathead American bully stereotype hard. He delights in throwing hands, and hunts down supers just for the sake of a fun spar. (For him not for the supers.) Foleyâs favorite people to fight so far is Killer Croc and Superman. Heroes are concerned about what would happen if Foley fought for real, but then they saw what he did to the Joker âas a jokeâ and decided not to ask any more questions.
Basically, the trio looked at their civilian lives and picked out what they considered âvillainous traitsâ from the people around them that they then played into as villains themselves. If that makes sense. Sam hates how her parents want a perfect child, so she makes herself look like one. She speaks in backhanded comments and has a snooty attitude, which she learned from other rich people. Tucker is constantly confronted by bullies everyday, and all the rogues that come to Amity are always fighting, so thatâs what he decides to mimic. Yeah, he now gets to be the big and strong protector of the group, but all his experience with fighting have been bad ones, and that reflects in his style. And finally, Danny. Why does he take after his parents and play into the family name? Because the Fentons are one of the biggest obstacles and source of anxiety in his life. Danny associates mad scientists to pain and other bad things, so even if all heâs being helpful in a really annoying way as a villain, his parents and the threat of the GIW still influence how he presents himself. Because to Danny, those two things are far more scary than a kid with a pirate ship or a man wearing a bat fursuit.

Why is asking permission for certain things, both romantic and platonic, one of the cutest, most heart-fluttering things ever?
"Can I hold your hand?"
"Can I kiss you?"
"Would you like me to carry your jacket?"
"Can I hug you?"
"Would it be alright if we cuddled?"
"Can I play with your hair?"
"Might I walk you home?"
"Can I tickle you?
"Is it okay if I kiss you goodbye?"
"Can I hold onto your arm while we walk?"
"Can I rest my head on your shoulder?"
"Is it okay if I call you (nickname)?"
"I'd really like to kiss you right now, if that's okay with you,"
"Would you let me take care of you?"

Could you write something about the (lightly) injured villain waking up in the hero's apartment and attacking them, then getting surprised at the realization that hero saved and patched them up?
The villain woke up on a sofa. It would have been fine, except for the fact that it wasn't their sofa.
They bolted upright, heart jack-knifing, gaze sweeping around the room. Plants and bits of scrap and bolts of metal everywhere. Tools. A mess of sharp things.
The hero stepped into the doorway, clutching two steaming mugs of tea. Their eyes widened.
The villain was already on them; tea flying, fingers curled tight around the hero's throat, knocking the air out of them as they tackled them down hard onto the floor, straddling the hero's hips.
"Easy!" The hero wheezed, holding their hands above their head. "I'm not-"
"-Where am I?"
"My home. I'm not going to hurt you."
"You kidnapped me."
The memories filtered through and the villain's brow furrowed. The hero was saying something, starting to look a bit frantic with the crushing grip around their windpipe, but the villain wasn't listening.
Distractedly, their hand rose to the back of their neck, where their neural network was. They remembered the splintering damage. Wiring visible. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
All they felt beneath their hand was smooth skin. Perfectly fine.
The villain's hand recoiled from the hero's neck, but they didn't get up, staring at them.
The hero gasped for air.
The villain's eyes narrowed.
"You saved me," they said. "You...fixed me."
The hero managed a nod.
"Why?"
"Can you...get off me?"
The villain put their hand on the hero's throat again, but didn't squeeze. They felt the hero swallow beneath their palm. Warm and soft and oh so fragile.
"Did you change anything?" the villain asked, low and lethal.
"N-no." The hero's eyes were still so very wide. "I didn't even know until I saw that you weren't - that you are -" The hero floundered.
The villain's jaw clenched.
Cyborg. Android. They weren't entirely certain which was the best descriptor for exactly what they were. Born, but not made. Born, then remade? Something. A human heart and human coverings, but not much else beneath the surface that could truly be called flesh and blood.
"I've never seen anything like you," the hero whispered. "But I did my best to help."
The villain's gaze swept the room again, catching once more on the scrap and the tools. Not a torture chamber. The cramped home of someone who liked to tinker. Who were, whether they were quite aware of it or not, exceptionally skilled at tinkering.
They should definitely kill the hero, for knowing as much as they did. It would be easy to do. They'd taken the hero by surprise, they already had them pinned. All it would take was a twist of their wrist and the hero's neck would snap.
The hero didn't claw at them. They didn't try and persuade the villain to let go. They wet their clearly dry lips, like they were considering trying to say something.
"Why?" the villain asked, again.
"Because that's what I do." The hero seemed nonplussed. "I try to fix things. I try to help."
The villain stroked their thumb along the line of the hero's neck. The hero's breath - already unsteady - gave a noticeable quiver. They swallowed again. Their fingers twitched on the floor.
"You seem fine, anyway," they mumbled. "So you can go, if you like. I should clean up the tea."
"You did not think to restrain me."
"I thought about it."
"But you did not."
"I didn't want you to wake up scared."
The hero sounded like they were being honest, but so did most skilled liars. Still.
The villain couldn't quite bring themselves to kill the hero, as convenient and swift as it could be. The hero was warm beneath them.
"I'm never scared," the villain said, proving precisely that point about liars and their convictions. They rose to their feet, watching the hero still splayed beneath their legs for a moment.
Stamp. End it. Fix nothing. The world did not, after all, deserve to be fixed.
"Thank you," the villain said.
The hero backed up, into the tea stain, standing when the wall was against their back to support them and they were as far away from the villain as they could be. Their eyes stayed glued to the villain, but they summoned a smile that also looked genuine.
A surprise.
Everything about the hero was surprising.
The villain wanted to smile back. They did not.
"I know I said you could go," the hero said, after a moment. "But I would like to run some tests. I'm pretty sure you're fine - the injury was mostly surface, minor. But..." They shrugged.
"You wish to examine me."
The hero cleared their throat, scrubbing a hand over the back of their own neck. "You can say no."
The villain did not say no. They backed up to the sofa they had woken up on and sat down.
The hero approached them, after a beat. They were gentle.
The villain fled out the window when the hero went to make more tea, heart jack-knifing for an entirely different reason whenever they saw the hero after that.

Here⊠take my cringy Tomura x Reader fic.
(aka Tomura gets hit with a quirk that makes him expose his true feelings for you in a physical way not like that)
Tomura is hit by an enemyâs quirk during a mission. You run up to him and lean down to check on him. âTomura, are you okay?â
He opens his eyes, looking at you. His expression was blank for a moment before thereâs a mysterious intensity in his eyes. He suddenly pushes himself up and grabs you, pushing you down to the ground.
âUhhh, Tomura?!â you ask, startled and confused by his actions as he presses you against the ground with a force. The other league members start to approach, âStay back! Something isnât right!â you warn them.
Spinner grabs the enemy, âWhat did you hit him with? Some kind of deranged murder quirk?â he demands to know.
The enemy shakes his head, âNo! My quirk only accentuates pre-existing feelings! If he wants to kill them, thatâs on him!â
Twice tilts his head to the side, âTomura wouldnât want to kill themââ
Tomura grabs you by the throat, a single finger lifted. He gazes down into your eyes.
âTomura wants to kill them!â Twice says, about to intervene when Toga stops him.
âNo, he doesnât!â Toga says.
Tomura leans down and presses his lips against yours. Everyone freezes as they definitely werenât expecting him to kiss you.
âAwww, see?â Toga smiles, âTomura has a crush!â
âEw. I would have rather he killed them.â Dabi says.
âTurn it off.â Spinner says.
The enemy rolls his eyes, âI canât just turn it off. Iâd have to be knocked unconsciousââ
Mr. Compress uses his cane to place a firm, sharp whack to the back of the enemyâs head, causing him to pass out. Spinner lets him fall to the ground with a loud thud.
Tomuraâs eyes widen and he quickly sits up, breaking the kiss and pulling his hands away from you. His expression is one of shock, then concern. He looks you over, trying to make sure that youâre alright; afraid he may have hurt you.
âItâs okay, Tomura. Iâm alright.â you say to him, trying to help calm him.
His lips part as if he wanted to say something, but nothing comes out.
The enemy groans, rubbing the back of his head. Tomura sets his sights on the man and stands up, walking towards him. The enemy immediately starts trying to talk his way out of the situation, but Tomura doesnât spare a second before grabbing his face and decaying him.
Tomura looks back over to the group and his eyes settle on you. He feels a twinge of guilt twisting in his stomach. He walks back over, holding out a hand to you. He wouldnât blame you if you refused it, in fact, he expects your refusal. To his surprise, you take his hand and he carefully helps you back up to your feet.
âAre you okay?â you ask him.
He nods. Heâs perplexed that even after what just happened, youâre still concerned for him?
âIâm sorry.â he says, finally speaking the words he wanted to say earlier.
You shake your head, âYou werenât in control of that. Itâs not your fault.â
âI know, but I donât want you to think Iâd ever hurt you.â he speaks with a softer, more vulnerable tone than youâre used to hearing from him.
âI know you wouldnât.â you say. âI trust you. Even when you were completely out of control, you still made sure not to decay me.â
He looks away, taking your words into consideration. He notices your hand is still in his. You really do trust him. He looks back up at you, the two of you catching eyes.
Toga speaks up, shouting from across the field, âAre you gonna kiss again?!?!â
Tomura looks away from you, âShut up, Toga! Can we turn our focus back to the mission? Weâve already wasted enough time here!â he argues, going back to his normal tone. His voice trails off as the two of you walk back over to meet with the league.
You follow along with the group as Tomura leads you all forward. Both of you still feel the kiss lingering on your lips. Both of you want to feel it againâ on your own terms.

âOh my godââ
âNot quite, loveâ The antagonist smirked. âIf you ask nicely, however, I may be inclined to play along.â
âYouâreââ
âA villain, yes.â
The protagonist tried to stop their hands from shaking as the antagonist looked them up and down.
âWhy are you in my neighborhood bodega?â The protagonist said finally, and the villain quirked a brow.
âEven famous people need to eat,â the antagonist tucked their hands into their exquisitely tailored suit.
The bag of chips in the protagonists grip crinkled, and the villain inspected them.
âNot the healthiest choice.â
They gave an unamused laugh. âThe cheapest.â
The antagonistâs eyes ran over their face, as if taking in their slightly gaunt cheeks.
âHeroism doesnât pay well, it seems.â
The protagonist looked them up and down.
âVillainy does, it seems.â
At that, the antagonist chuckled, eyes glimmering like they had finally found something to peak their interest.
Behind them, the check out counter beeped and spit out a receipt, which the antagonist promptly crumpled and threw away.
âIâll be watching,â they said with a nonchalance that did not match the threat of stalking, and disappeared out the sliding doors.
The protagonist stood in front of the machine, slightly awe struck and slightly afraid, until a clerk sidled up to them.
âOld friend?â The clerk asked.
The protagonist glanced over at them, then back towards the door.
âNot quite,â they answered.
They paid for their chips and left, hands pink with cold by the time they got to their apartment.
Attached to their door was an cream colored envelope full of money, and a note in elegant handwriting that simply said âBuy yourself more groceries. Your fridge is a tragedy.â
The protagonist never quite got rid of the antagonist after that.

(Villain comes to visit Hero in the dungeon.)
"Hey..."
"I want nothing to do with you."
"Hero."
"Go away."
"Just...please. Talk...talk to me."
(A pause, then Hero asks)
"Was any of it real?"
"Don't start."
"Was any of it real?"
(Villain looks up, tearful) "More real than anything."
