Dear Jennie,

I miss you. I hope you're safe. And if you're not safe, I hope you're okay. I don't know if you're on one of those missions where you can't receive owls, but I thought I'd write anyway.

I should've written sooner.You've probably been worried. I'm sorry. I've been trying not to think about what happened much. I was attacked by some Russian woman. I think she might've been one of the Death Eaters who  were after me during Potterwatch. I don't know. I'd say I'm fine, but you know better. I'm mostly healed now. I don't know if the occasional ache is simply because of the cold, if it's not completely healed yet, or if it's all in my head. I'm not keen on going to St. Mungo's. 

And Carina's missing. I know people are working on finding her, but I still can't help wonder if I could've helped. What if I had come a few minutes sooner? Maybe I could've done something.

I don't know how you do it. I don't know how you can go out everyday knowing that there's always the possibility that one of the witches or wizards you encounter might attack you. Though, I suppose that's everyone's situation now. But Aurors are in the direct line of fire. 

Oh Godric, this letter is depressing. Sorry. Good things:Hayley's niece/adopted daughter is adorable. Fred and Hayley have moved to this brilliant house in North Carolina with a forest and a beach.I bought a large amount of bubbles. It was a spur of the moment thing. I don't know what I'm going to do with all of them. Maybe I'll get one of those muggle toys where you fill them up with bubble liquid and then the little electronic toy blows bubbles until the batteries run out or you turn it off.The swivel chair Avery gave me is still brilliant. And every time I have a mango smoothie I think of you. This is getting a bit long. And I still haven't said everything I want to, but that means you'll definitely be getting another letter from me soon.
