I adore the look of early 1960s animation. I’ll watch any and all of it - and sometimes the worst of it is what I’ll watch the most. It’s just got that vibe, y’know? 

Cool McCool, King Leonard and his Short Subjects, The Rocky Show, The Huckleberry Hound Show, Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse, Milton the Monster, Hoppity Hooper, The New Casper Show, the Bozo cartoons, Herman and Catnip, Calvin and the Colonel, Linus the Lion Hearted, Tennessee Tuxedo, UPA’s Dick Tracy, and the Tom and Jerry cartoons made by Chuck Jones. And there were the King Features cartoons featuring Beetle Bailey, Krazy Kat, Snuffy Smith, and Popeye.

They just have that look and feel.

My sweet boy James! He's doing so good since that scare with his health. He's currently playing with a new catnip pretzel I got him. 💕💕💕💕 Also, I just got some new litter boxes with a top entry and OMG, these are gonna be awesome. No more tracking...James and Herman love digging and kicking up their litter all over the place but since these boxes are top entry no more cleaning up all the time after them. G. Herman Gottlieb got a bright idea in 1909. He went to the woods in Manhattan (there were apparently still woods in Manhattan then) and picked two large baskets of catnip. He then went door-to-door on Fifth Avenue to sell catnip to wealthy cat owners. G
