Legends React To: Pineapple on Pizza

Correction: as suggested by @hereandqueerandfulloffear I don’t know how to read.

Bloodhound: Look they think pizza itself is such a strange invention that adding pineapple to it is just par for the course. Far as eating it, they only like it cold, because they’ve only ever had pineapple cold, so if the pineapple is warm they can and will make a face.

Gibraltar: He won’t order it, but he won’t complain if it’s around.

Lifeline: She feels like even if it only covers half the pizza it’s unforgivable cross-contamination. Growing up, she and Octane would order two pizzas on movie nights because she could not be made to compromise. One time they accidentally put pineapple on hers as well and she ended up watching Octane eat two whole pizzas rolled up like burritos and they both thought he was going to die.

Pathfinder: All of his friends seem very split on the issue, so, so is he!

Wraith: She was turned off by the idea of sweet stuff on pizza, but Mirage’s favorite is pineapples and pepperoncini so she gave it a try. Turns out it was more tangy than she thought and now they’re pineapple gremlins together.

Bangalore: Likes pineapple but always pretended to hate it to piss off Jackson. Pretended so hard she forgot she even liked it until she, Rampart and Mirage were drinking, and he ordered his usual. She was flooded with memories and drunkenly ate an entire pizza on her own before passing out in a spare chair. Mirage and Ramya have kept the event to themselves under threat of being covered in prowler pheromones.

Caustic: He finds pizza too greasy, but if he does eat it, it’s cheese. The addition of pineapple always seemed like a way to make the grease even worse. He tried it once at some inane office party he was forced to attend, spit it out and left.

Mirage: He canonly orders and eats three entire large pepperoncini and pineapple pizzas. Boy’s reaction is somewhere between gentle bliss and “FUCK YEAH” depending on how many beers he’s had.

Octane: Loves to see it. Lifeline despised it when they were growing up, though it never stopped him. He thinks it’s funny to wiggle a piece of pineapple and pepperoni at her and make “ooooOOOOOOooo!” sounds.

Wattson: Nope, nope, nope, texture is yuck and no, no, nope. She doesn’t mind the sweetness though, so if someone orders pineapple pizza she just thoroughly desecrates her pieces until she has the pineapple in a neat little pile, which is usually stolen by either Wraith or Bangalore (Mirage is never fast enough).

Crypto: Pretty neutral. Only thing he actually doesn’t like on pizza is corn, pretty common in Suotamo, and especially in the Koreatown on Solace. He actually had to stop ordering from a place because they would always put corn on when he asked it was kept off. TLDR; all pizza is good as long as it doesn’t have corn on it.

Revenant: He wonders if he liked pineapple on pizza when he was alive. He decides he did because it makes some people very offended and that’s the next best thing to murder.

Loba: She likes it just fine, sort of like Gibraltar. Though she eats the pineapple off first and then the pizza. Or she’ll pull off a few pieces, throw them in her mouth, and then take a bite of the pizza. She has no clue why she does this. Bangalore has witnessed it and, considering Loba will also occasionally peel grapes, decided she’s just fuckin’ weird.

Rampart: Has probably traded a gun for a pizza so laden with pineapple it’s a capital offense on three planets. She likes to tell people about the enzymes that break down flesh in pineapple and remind them that when they eat pineapple, on pizza or not, that they are being eaten, too.

Horizon: She doesn’t really like it, having a firm belief that savory is savory and sweet is sweet. She has trained this rule into Newton for the express purpose of never having to order pineapple on pizza.

Fuse: Pineapple, carrots, anchovies or plain fuckin’ dirt, put it on a slab of bread with enough grease to oil the entire IMC Militia Fleet and he will wash it down with a brewskie.

Valkyrie: She likes it, but only if the pizza also has mayonnaise, something her mom did to whatever pizza they ordered as a kid. When her dad had been around, he’d always tease them about how gross their pizza was. He was totally wrong, because mayo on pizza would be bomb always and forever Dad, thanks, but she smiles now when she eats pizza and thinks of him.

Okay, but Chicken with Phillip or Adiris on Anna's shoulder is a hilarious image and I'm pretty sure Meg or Feng would try to beat them with every dirty trick in the book. Splashing, trash talk, tickling, even trying to triple stack Dwight on top in order to out height them. The kids are determined and single braincelled when it comes to Chicken.

Oh absolutely. Incredible. And they win because Meg and Jake have the same terrible impulse towards soft hearted people and Meg guilts Philip into throwing intentionally to make Claudette feel better when she actually feels fine because she knows Philip has a big heart and schemeing is effective. Jake secretly feels better about that time he more or less blackmailed Claudette into being the lead in a dance musical but also worse for the next 24 hours and tries to be really nice to her. Meg and he are both forced to further admit how much they have the exact same energy a solid 60% of the time more than they originally thought.

This win comes only after a painstaking evil campaign to try literally everything else and multiple minor bruise and scratch injuries and pepper Adiris had to go wash out of her eyes.

Okay I just found your fics and godDAMN you write phenomenally! Anna and Adiris are my favorite Killers and you portray them and their POVs so beautifully! I also adore how you give love to all the survivors, even usually forgotten ones like Adam and Tapp. You can really tell that you love these characters and you love writing these stories for them, I can't wait to see more in the future :)
