Imagine Annie and Armin’s kid (likely a daughter) being raised in the spotlight since her parents are famous and she just is so unbothered and uncouth about it.
They’re at a press conference and she’s about four or five years old, dressed up, standing still next to her mother. But she looks extremely bored. She has Annie’s no-nonsense resting face.
Armin’s at a podium answering questions behind a microphone, and he looks down to his daughter tugging on his pant’s leg and reaching for him, her eyes all big and pleading.
Of course he’s going to oblige when she’s looking at him that way, so he hoists her up to his hip and gives her a peck on the cheek and tries to continue with the press conference.
Until she leans down and grabs the microphone.
“You have something to say, sweetie?” One of the reporters asks.
They shouldn’t have done that, Armin thinks, but he can’t stop her.
“Yeah,” she says in her bored little voice, “can you all shut the hell up please? Daddy said he’d take me and Mommy to get ice cream when this is over and I’m getting bored.”
Annie’s sighing to herself, grabbing the girl from Armin and stowing her under her arm while the little girl tries to kick free before giving up and just hanging there limp and defeated.
Armin’s yanking at his collar, blushing in embarrassment over his feral kid, but he can’t help but laugh. “She’s so well-spoken for her age isn’t she?” He defends, before asking for the next question.
And of course, after the presser, she still gets her ice cream. He can’t say to no to her. Or Annie.
