Totaly forgot to upload these (Tord and Edd a character designs for a little Eddsworld side projeckt) Note, if you wanna draw Tords eyes, please make them horisontal, like i was just to lazy to fix that but i have it sticking in the back of my mind where no one can see it. These creatures are Demivores (Demon, Demi god, herbivore) theire a kind of helhound. Demivores grow to the size ot thier fitting skull exessory, if they wear a skull smaller than they are they might shrink. There can be really small ones but if ones first hunt turnes out to be a strong a enourmous creature, one that is almost invincible like a skyerbranner or a surbranner they might as well grow just as tall as one of them. A sight never been seen before. If their first hunt is something like a mouse, wait for it to turn really really tiny. But that doesn't hurt their strength in the Slightest, a brog sized Demivore can be just as strong if not strong ou well weaker as a bear sized or bigger one. Demivores wear the skull of their first ever victem that they’ve hunted across the muliverse. Thei’re extreamly pridefull creatures, it’s hard to earn their respect. The strongest one is the lieader of their heard (Yes heard) despide their pride they relie on each other and would obviously kill for another on their kind’s safety, other species are very much though irelevant to them unless they’ve reaned their respect. They commonly have spikes somwhere on their body and always on the underside of their tail, these spikes regrow wery slowly so they keep their tail curled up in a ball as to not damage their defense. Mentioned spikes are not poisonouse. Demivores always have a long, bulky and strong neck, making it a the worst body part to attack when fighting agains one, instead you should aim at riddening their tail, their biggest defence will be lost then. Or try to make them louse their mask, it is all their pride. They always have glowing eyes, the glow though isn’t usually seen, if you’re eyes happen to come in contact with theirs, you should run. (In the brother planeddsworld edd is drinking nectar soda, basically yellow cola [If you have name ideas I’d be glad to hear em] Also spoileralert for the little side project!!! : Since Ringo is a cat and I made edd a cat, I though about making them little and big bros)

On the Western peninsula Natam, the arrival of Lan Mñats resulted in a shift. By itself Lun Mñats are not very militaristic, but their mounts require grass fields to eat, making them compete for the land with indigenous Sùtòtòm sutviprra for habitat. Also, Lan Mñats tradition of covering themself, hiding all the skin, immediately alienates other non-unzu cultures. The riders arrive either seasonally or stay in one territory for one year, which puts the local ecology in a straign. To protect their animals, Sutviprra kill local predators, while uncontrolled populations of domesticated Mñats eat away at local vegetation. The soil degradation start to creep in, as this area relatively recently was a desert, and the herd animal activity resurfaces all the sand from that time. Such changes prompts Lan Mnats to move further into Dumkatsdoñ, and the Sùtòtòm either militarizing against the Lun Mnats or migrating across the Kùlónsárrèm onto the new territories - islands Josénfústòkn and Jorrfústòkn.
As you remember, Unzu are uniquely adapted to live in mountains, especially with domesticated mñats. Concurrently with colonization of Dumkatsdoñ, Lun Mñats arrived and settled on the Nыmamoz Sanan, known to indigenous people as Vunonán. Several generations of skirmishes followed, and while Rrék sutviprra have better understanding of the land and nature, Lan Mñats have the ability to swiftly retreat and regroup on the highlands - areas inaccessible for Rrék. Such advantage, unfortunately, led to the extermination of Vunonán Rrék on the mainland. While Lan Mñats are unparalleled on land, they lack any seafaring knowledge, allowing Rrék to flee on the islands. There, they would have to compete or ally with local sárrárr. Going from enclosed mountains to populated shorelines and seas has a perk of capability of cultural exchange. Further along the Kùón, there are more islands with more cultures. Kosán island is one of the bigger landmasses in the inner seas, being guarded by the Dotòm who understand the significance of their territory. Sutviprra of Kosán have loose connection with Jokosárrádi archipelago, which link up with Fúsòm, Fútemesen, Fújosén, Jozètín and Fújosárr. Fújosén poses as a rival to Kosán, being an island with the same potential.
Lan Mñats up north introduced an unstable population of grazers to Joénky’n, causing an ecological disaster far beyond the scale of a simple göts. Without usual root systems, the soil is washed into the rivers by the rains. Rivers carry the mud down into the sea of Kùlónsárrèm, causing frequent algi blooms. Environment becomes uninhabitable for sealife, depriving islander sárrárr of much food they relied on. Sutviprra have to pay special attention to their environments to survive. The main architect of the Fusnmatàmian ecology is a séón tree. During harsh temperatures of a pre-blooming season, it generates oil around itself, making the area a genuine fire hazard. Bushfires both get rid of séón’s competition and prepare the soil for the next generation. The tree itself has several parasites and symbionts, who benefit from the clearing of territory. Many other plants don’t actively cause fires, but have adaptations to survive the fire. Séón trees have made their water storage double as a cooling , allowing them to survive the Torrùteúán and Sólúmèm have intricate root systems, allowing them to regenerate their leaves and stems after the fire season has passed. After the blooming, plants encounter a different issue - seedfeeding tetrapters and intetrognatas might destroy their prospects. Fèàsèmesón have their seeds inclosed in tough skin, while sàtùmosárr tangles onto itself to make it’s seeds inaccacible. In both cases, plants rely on herbivours to eat the fruits and swallow the seeds whole - that way they will be desperced wherever this creature goes in the past two weeks. Sárrárr also turn to this mode of feeding, along with sparse hunts and fungoid foraging. Animals on the island are familiar, but smaller than mainland speciments, provoking fears of hunger. To survive, Sudm have to manage their foodsources, rather than forage.

honestly i love the jurassic movies, but i do have to say i hate that they got the carnivores and herbivores behaviour the wrong way around. most of the time predators don't rlly attack you unless their either a. hungry or b. threated. herbivores however? hippos will mow you down for sport. they'll crush you and rip you up for looking at them funny. and all they do is eat grass!!! they can't eat you at all but they'll still rip you to shreds. because people often percieve herbivours as less dangerous bc they wont eat you, people get too close and disrespect animals boundries. the same should happen with the herbivour dinosaurs. they should kill far more people than the carnivorous ones.
the t rex honestly had pretty good reasons. the first movie explained they had been in captivity and the dinosaurs were spoon fed, so they wanted to hunt, and this is expanded upon in jurassic world when owen says animals raised in captivity without social interaction makes them want to find out their place on the food chain. so the t rex killing everything in sight when it first gets out is sensible. and it killing people in the second movie bc its baby was taken in also sensible.
the third movie with the spinosaurus is curious tho. the spinosaurus' behaviour is never expanded upon, and is just a continuous antagonist with no real reason other than "big scar dino" that needs to kill people and specifically fuck with these guys. i don't like that.
but the raptors... i'm forever mad about the way raptors are portrayed. they really should have been like wolves more, they wouldn't have just attacked or hunted for no reason. in the first movie i understand, it was explained above. kept in captivity blah blah blah. but the second movie??? unless they were really hungry, they had no reason!!! they wouldn't have expanded that much energy on humans who are tricky to catch, they would have found easier prey bc saving your energy is super duper important in the wild.
not to mention they have a sense of EMPATHY bc they are PACK creatures. pack creatures (LIKE HUMANS) have a sense of empathy and care toward each other bc thats how they SURVIVE. in the third movie, they show this. Their incesant chasing makes sense, they want their eggs back.
IN JURASSIC WORLD HOWEVER
oh boy oh boy. they should NEVER have attacked owen or anyone who raised them. pack creatures that have a bond would not eat someone the moment they turn their back. (im talking about that introductory scene to owens character and relationship with the raptors when that guy fell in the pen.) you know how there are sanctuaries with wolves and lions an those animals are super happy and cuddly with their handlers bc they KNOW thats their friend? yeah it should have been the same. and not to mention they wouldn't just TURN on owen if the indominatable rex had a little chat with them, these guys are smart and know that owen doesn't want to hurt them, why would they do the same to the guy WHO RAISED THEM. THATS NOT PACK BEHAHIOUR. they would be wary of the bigger and more scarier version of them that wants to kill everything for sport. the animals would be afraid.
i'm sorry for the rant im just so mad about the way raptors were portrayed, i'm very passionate about pack behaviours an they did such a disservice to them.

Are all faunus cycles the same, or does it vary based on animal traits. For example, fish faunus, insect faunus, and mammalian faunus, as well as predatory and herbivourous faunus?
My Best Friend's A Monkey Faunus: Heat How To's
Because we need rules for the horny I guess.
Faunus cycles last roughly 2 months or 62 days. Their heats last 14 days.
Faunus in heat are hornier than usual, but not to a degree that they are unable to function. Though their arousal does tend to increase as the heat progresses.
Faunus that were not satisfied during their previous heat(s), either by sex or masturbation, will be even more aroused.
Being in close proximity with another faunus in heat, such as sleeping in the same room, will also increase their arousal.
A combination of the previous two, or simple several faunus in heat living in close proximity, can lead to an almost feral state of arousal.
Are there any more rules you think I should add on? Questions? Thoughts?

Good morning it's a little panda!! Too bad they're too lazy to reproduce
Good morning!
They are and honestly I don't blame them, it doesn't look as fun as eating bamboo all day long tbh
#alwerakoo ask#panda day!#pretty sure they're the only kind of bear that's 100% a herbivour#which contrasts with polar bears being the only kind that's 100% a carnivour

Do you have any favorite dragon designs from rescue riders?
I have my own little RR design tierlist so alow me to go over just singular favourites. I think design wise Slinkwing is the best.
The design is not outstandingly impressive or anything, I think within the franchise tier they would be decent C or something and it's not my super preference design either but what I like most about them is the fact that they would fit right in with the main franchise, both their characteristic and design. a lot of screenshot of these guys look like it's from Race of the edge.
Silver-tailed Ironclaw follow behind for a similiar reason. As it stands they're night fury-ified razorwhip and still has this cutsy quality about them but like Slinkwing, they also look incredibly the part of the main franchise
Flyhoper got a really nice idea and honestly I have no problem with them at all, They reminds me of Book!toothless/Garden dragon and from what I've heard they are a lot of people's favourite from the show too
Sea Gronckle! Sea varient Gronckle is a cool concept and I love me some Wailord dragon
Honorable mention:
Piercing Shriekscale - they're still babies so I don't know how they'll turn out but as it stand they look like a solid speed stinger/stinger/nadder raptor-like type dragon which is cool
Divewing - Another pefectly good/decent design.
Fire Fury - Is basically a Grapple Grounder so I'm cool with it
Foreverhorn - Is basically a Snow wraith/Sandbuster Hybrids so I'm cool with it, a little bland and on the nose for my liking but not too out of place within the franchise
Golden Dragon - My opinion on this dragon change over time, I'd still put it on lover tier compare to Slinkwing design wise but it grow on me a lot and I think I prefer it as a dragon(not the design) more than Slinkwing, mostly thanks to School of dragons. I also thing the herbivour face compliment with the antilope like horn and the Easten dragon like body
Songwing - There's a lot to be desired about the design but much like GD, it's the dragon the grow on me and suppress Slinkwing in turn of likeness (mostly thanks to being a gay dragon) I still stand by my firm believe that if this dragon debut in a different media like Rise of Berk or something people will be all over the concept of feathered rainbow dragon.
Chillblaster - There's A LOT MORE to be desired on this dragon compare to songwing, in fact I think this dragon is at the buttom or the well. But like previous two, it grow on me. I think there's something about dragon being at the buttom of the tier list that do something to me, they're my little scrunky. I think I like the concept of a buff up Light fury.

Canines are... texhnically omnivores and wolves and other wild canines have bewn seen eating plants, including blueberries for extra nourishment. Perhaps your memories are focused on this currently during the months where i imagine it would be more common for them to do so? Im no expert on this of course! Just something you could look at. And the intersection of a herbivourous kintype alongside a carnivorous one? Again, suggestions.. i hope im not coming across weird 😅
For your kinsideration…
Does anyone know of any kin types that could fall under herbivorous canines? I feel very strongly pulled towards canines as of late but I don’t get the sense that I’ve ever been a hunter? Perhaps I could have been a scavenger or maybe I was only a young canine and cared for by the pack? I’m not sure. How do you go about decoding your feelings around kin types?🦷🌿👁

Arcana Bestiary : Day 1
ʙᴀɴɴᴇʀ ᴀɴᴅ ᴇᴠᴇɴᴛ ᴄʀᴇᴀᴛᴇᴅ ʙʏ @mappingthearcana
Vesuvia is a City-State situated between the Catclaw Desert and the Malvent Strait. Vesuvia and the surrounding area have a Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters. Vesuvia is a port city, and much of it’s economy revolves around sea trade. The Vesuvian wildlife is as diverse as the people who populate the state.
Below is a small field guide to some of Vesuvia’s more common creatures!
Small Creatures:
Common Jackalope: The common jackalope is a rabbit like creature that grows antlers as they reach maturity, which will continue to grow as they age. Jackalope are found throughout Vesuvia and much of the surrounding areas, as well as in Zadith and the Fennekh Dessert. They are as versatile as the less fantastical members of the lagomorph family. Jackalope are herbivorous, their diet consists primarily of leafy plants, cacti, and roots.
In the wild, jackalope live in small groups in warrens. Groups are usually comprised of several female jackalope, with male jackalope living solitary lives outside of the mating season. During which, male jackalope, called bucks, will become territorial and spar other males with their antlers. Jackalope, like rabbits, are valued for their meat and their fur. However, their antlers are also valuable in folk medicine and in artisan craft-work. Jackalope are easy to raise and make fine pets, however in recent years the Wolpertinger has overtaken them in popularity due to their comparatively softer and thicker fur.
Vesuvian Wolpertinger: While not native to Vesuvia, wolpertingers have flourished in the wild since their introduction by Drakr immigrants some hundred years ago. The Vesuvian Wolpertinger have developed larger ears and thinner coats than their ancestors as an adaptation to Vesuvia’s climate. Wolpertinger are closely related to jackalope, however a wolpertinger’s antlers are considerably smaller, and are shed in the spring. They also have a pair of wings that allow them to fly for a short distance. Vesuvian Wolpertinger nest in tree hollows or bramble thickets, and have been observed to hibernate through the summer if the temperatures become too high. The structure of a Wolpertinger’s feet is unique from other lagomorphs, their wrists are capable of turning 360 degrees, similar to a squirrel, which allows them to climb trees. Wolpertinger are primarily herbivourous, feeding on roots, tree nuts, and bark. However they have been observed catching small fish when foliage is scarce. Wolpertinger are highly prized for their soft, thick fur, and in countries like Firent and Drakr, domesticated wolpertinger have been bred into many different lines to produce a wide variety of fur. Prospero’s Salamander: A species of salamander that was initially discovered (and according to legend, the familiar of) by the first Count of Vesuvia. Prospero’s salamanders are a sleek, golden brown color with red dapple markings along their back. They have three legs on either side of their torso, and have comparatively less fire capabilities than other members of the Minor Draconic genus. Prospero’s salamanders are very common throughout Vesuvia, and can easily be found under logs, rubble, or dried river beds. They are a very docile species, and even wild caught ones easily and amicably adapt to living in a home’s stove or furnace.
Large Creatures:
Venterre Boar: Descended from escaped truffle-swine of the Venterre region’s vineyards, Venterre boar are massive animals with a keen sense of smell. Their snouts are noticeably spade shaped, making foraging for roots, truffles, and subterranean creatures very easy.
At a glance, Venterre boar are hard to differentiate from common boar, however the most notable differences are their large size, wiry coats that range in color from dark violet to red, and spade shaped snouts.
Venterre boar can be very dangerous, and are commonly thought to be bad tempered, as opposed to common boar who are usually only aggressive when defending piglets or during the mating season.
Venterre boar are prized for their meat, which is said to have a taste similar to buttery wines.
Shiny Chamois: A light-framed species of antelope that can be found on the Vesuvian plains, through to the Great Gate and edges of the Catclaw Desert. Shiny Chamois are named for their light, sandy colored coats that easily blend into long grasses or sand dunes. Shiny Camois have a pair of ivory colored, pronged horns that develop shortly before the animal reaches maturity.
Shiny Camois live in large herds, usually with 15-30 members. Very briefly, Shiny Chamois were domesticated for use as small pack animals, however this has since fell out of practice as mules and ponies became more common in the area. Lesser Chimera: (Not to be confused with the Greater Chimera, which is local to Milova) The lesser Chimera is a beast which, according to folk legend, was created by a wizard who had tried to save his pet antelope from the jaws of a leopard, and in doing so accidentally fused the beasts together. Lesser Chimera are large, with adult males standing roughly 91 cm at their shoulders. Their body is usually a sandy or tawny color, with rosette markings. The secondary head resembles either a domestic goat or a shiny chamois. Unlike Greater Chimera, lesser chimera do not have a serpentine tail. They are typically solitary hunters, however a bonded pair or a mother and daughter(s) may share territory. Lesser Chimera are often hunted for their pelts and for their blood, which is believed to have magical properties. Lesser Chimera blood is often sold under the guise of being Greater Chimera blood, which does have proven magical properties.

Hi professor, I recently agreed to take care of a pumjpkaboo for a friend while she goes through a family emergency. Unfortunately she didn't have time to explain proper pumpkaboo care to me, I'm feeling very lost since I specialize in dark type pokemon. My biggest question is, how much light does pumpkaboo need? I know it is a grass type but it's also a ghost type, so is the plant part technically dead?
They can tolerate dappled shade, so you could have them in a forest or by a tree line and they’d be ok, but equally, they show no aversion to bright light, and unlike a lot of ghost Pokemon, are happy to rest in a sunny position. I’d say bright indirect sunlight is plenty good enough.
Watering should be done early morning if possible, but they’ll go for a drink whenever if they feel they need it. Don’t water the Pokemon then let it go play in the bright sun, it will burn its skin and discolour it, which can take a while to recover from and itches, not great. Dry them off if they want to go out and play after.
Provide a small bucket of rich soil in a sheltered area, so they can be protected from the wind and harsh cold, we suggest to put this indoors, as they usually come inside anyway. By a window gives them a view, they do like to look at things while they sit to soak up nutrients. Make sure the drainage is good in this, as a continuously wet pumpkaboo will begin to rot.
Technically their ghostly energy melds with their plant body, and so it is a live being, the plant part and the rest of it and one in the same, and they do grow over the course of their lifetime, which is quite long (170-180 years).
If you notice any change in colour, it’s usually a diet thing, and easy enough to fix. They normally like dark leafy vegetables, they don’t mind cooked but also raw is more natural, try both to see what they like better, blanch and thicker veg such as kale or cabbage for 6-8 minutes, way less for stuff like spinach obvs. Some will have certain preferences in taste, this is where a few herbs or spices could come in, if you want to get fancy and make them like you more. Let the Pokemon smell what you may put in, they’ll have a preference from that alone, we find a lot of this species enjoy flavours found in Curries and spicy noodle soups, it’s at least a good place to start. If you mix 40% veg to 60% balanced poke food for herbivour grass types, you know, the stuff you can get at the shops normally, this balance does them pretty well, and you can treat them to all sorts, they have no allergies to specific food groups, and they don’t eat meat products, so no worries about sourcing that kind of food for them. Only thing they shouldn’t eat a lot of is salt, and you shouldn’t add it to anything they eat, or any veg you prepare them.
Otherwise they can be playful, and surprisingly energetic once they’ve had an hour or so in the sun. Games and toys do great, take them out to pick some if you have none already, or they may have some from their original trainers home. Their intelligence varies, so test out just how much or little you need to keep the little one entertained and happy. Some are smart enough to engage in complex games and activities, others are quite content chasing a toy on a string for hours on end. It’s a mix bag with this species.

The more I think of it the more it makes sense for flowey to like carnivours cause he is a plant, he likes seeing others get killed, and omnivours would just eat him up too (same as herbivours I guess) lol
-:P Anon
Yep! It is definitely in Flowey’s interest to not be eaten! Golden flower tea is a thing in-universe, so at least part of him must be edible. - Kitty

On the Ecology of Moogles
A moogle pompom has had a similar sort of evolutionary use as an anglerfish's lure, only to become used as a peacock tail style display as their diet of kupo nuts (rich in magic) made standard predation techniques obsolete and the species transitioned to mostly-herbivourous omnivorism
(fg 1: a standard moogle)
Moogles are typically classified as a type of minor fae (eiko calls them a type of fairy in ff9) so therefore its assumed that their poms were used to lure victims into close contact where they could either kill and devour small insects and animals or absorb mana from larger ones via skin-to-skin contact
However as they became dependent on the kupo nut, which is incredibly high in mana but indigestible in large quantities to most humanoids, their techniques quickly changed. Luckily, their poms served a reproductive display purpose and they adapted accordingly.
(fg 2: a Moogle demonstrating an understanding of humanoid culture. Note that the moogle-sized props mean that this goes beyond mere mimicry, and places this moogle after the species had begun to develop true sapience. note the small pom- this particular moogle hasnt transitioned into the more common large pom-size peacock display of modern moogledom)
(side note, it is theorized that the kupo nut is a traditional ingredient in the common Ether and other mana-restoring potions)
Moogles are inherently omnivorous, as well as highly social. Moogle colonies in areas with many kupo nut trees also enjoyed a rapid development of a surprisingly robust moogle social culture, leading to the moogles developing true speech rather than the parrot-like mimicry they likely employed to lure in victims.
Its assumed that several generations of hedonistic kupo nut consumption was a factor in moogles brains developing to a level on par with most other humanoids. And when they ate all the kupo nuts in an area they still had the capacity to survive on other foods due to their omnivorous digestive system.
(fg 3: Stiltzkin, a wandering moogle merchant)
Thus at this point it became easier to communicate and barter for kupo nuts with other humanoid species, as the kupo nut had made moogles inefficient at non-oral mana absorption and humanoids are hard to kill when you've got stubby little arms.
Though most moogles are blithe and peaceful little gremlins, some of them do demonstrate martial and magical aptitude. This seems to be highly dependent on where the moogle society developed. Ivalice, for example, has a highly-integrated moogle population, and as such ivalician moogles report martial ability and aptitude on par with other humanoid species of the region.
(fg 4: an Ivalician Mog Knight)
Prior to their development of true sapience and society, moogles developed flight and other minor magical abilities as many common beasts do. Most feral or non-domesticated moogles dont ascribe to the same magical schools as other humanoids. However they exhibit a natural affinity for white magic, assumed by their flight being a variant of the Float spell. Some regions, most notably the ivalician moogle, exhibit high aptitude for Black magic and Time magic, as well as a knack for constructing machinery.
All in all, most moogles are generally peaceful social creatures who can be kind of annoying at their worst. Their monopoly of the Gaian postal system is nothing to be afraid of. All Hail Artemecion. All Hail the Mognet. Also pray they don't write you out of their reality warping book of saves.

#27 - Mokèlé-mbèmbé
Mokèlé-mbèmbé, meaning “one who stops the flow of rivers”, is a legendary water-dwelling creature from the Congo River Basin in Central Africa. It is sometimes referred to as a living being and sometimes as more of a spirit. The creature is often described as resembling a sauropod dinosaur such as Diplodocus or Brontosaurus, although it is said to be much smaller, around the size of an elephant. According to some local beliefs, Mokèlé-mbèmbé is herbivourous but it will kill hippopotamuses on sight, and may even overturn boats and attack humans if they get too close.
