I will defend Taylor Swift like I would defend my big sister because she’s been protecting my emotional wellbeing in the way no one else could. Her music kept me fighting another day, got me through the night I thought that I might die.

I recently read one of your posts about what the gym leaders dislike the most about each other, so I want to request a post about what they like the most about each other :)
Hell yeah, spread positivity.
Milo:
-Nessa: Her confidence. Milo admires the way she seems to never let anyone get her down.
-Kabu: His advice. Kabu always seems to know what to say, and Milo really appreciates that.
-Bea: Her care for her pokemon. For as strong as she gets, and as hard as she trains her team, she always makes sure to keep her pokemon healthy and happy.

I tried to do my best but for some reason it took me three days to get through this.

Songs: Eyes off you by Prettymuch and Unbelievable by Why Don't We
Forgive me if there are any mistakes.
Ethan was pacing around in his office, marching so hard, that it left tracks in the carpet of his office.
C'mon Ethan, Leah is your fucking girlfriend. You can eat her out but, can't ask her out on a simple fucking date??!!
It was their six month anniversary, after months and months of pining over each other. When he thought about it now, he wondered why was he so against the concept? He thought that he was doing the right thing by not giving in, but in the end, he just ended up hurting himself and his Leah.
Leah... His sunshine.
The concept of nicknames never really appeased him. It was such a ‘teenager’ thing to do. When he was with Harper, the word 'babe' made him cringe so hard that it made him want to throw himself off the railing of the mezzanine floor of the hospital.
But with Leah, it was different. She breathed back life into the parts of his soul, which he thought were long dead. She constantly challenged him, pushed him to be a better doctor, a better friend and a better partner. She brought light, to the valleys of abyss and grief. Just like nothing can escape light, Ethan could not escape Leah's affection.
And he didn't want to run anymore..
He had never felt these intense emotions in a very long time. His mother leaving him at a tender age of eleven, made him grow up way to soon. It fucked him up. It made him close up and build walls to protect his heart from such earth shattering pain. It made him distant and cold.
But now he laughed more. Smiled more. And he knew that Leah was the one who saved him.
His salvation. His saving grace. His sunshine.
He decided enough was enough. He spoke to HR and Naveen and they gave them the green light. Leah had already made a great reputation in the hospital for her work ethic, her passion and her compassion. So why waste anymore time?
Ethan was so lost in thought that he didn't even notice Leah come in. "Woah woah Ethan. Are you trying to wear the carpet thin? You just got this office?!" Ethan looked up and saw Leah leaning against the door, with a smile. She was wearing a green blouse with a black pencil skirt. Ethan approved mentally.
"Hey sunshine."
"Hey yourself." She said as she closed the door and stepped into Ethan's embrace. He buried his face into her hair, and inhaled the lavender scent, which immediately soothed him. To him, she smelled like spring. She was perfect.
God, could you be any more sappier Ethan? Be a man.
But he knew, that if Leah even looked his way, he would be down on his knees.
"How was your day?" Ethan asked as he kissed her crown.
"It was so productive. I saved a nine year old girl today. Seeing her parents happy... It was beautiful."
"Well, I never doubted you once." He said with a tender smile, cupping her cheeks. "Also, do you have plans for tonight?"
"Yeahhhh, today is just an ordinary day, with no anniversary whatsoever. I was planning on going home and binging on greys-"
"Sunshine, don't talk shit."
"Hey, but you still love me."
"That I do... Anyways I have made a reservation in 'Osteria' tonight to celebrate our anniversary."
"E, you know that I wouldn't mind staying in bed and drinking cheap wine right?"
"I know, but I want to spoil my baby!! Be ready, I will pick you up by seven."
"I will be ready."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ethan rolled up to Leah's penthouse and send her a message. He had donned his black tux but had skipped the tie. He unbuttoned the top buttons of his crisp white shirt. He was going to call her again, when he heard a tap on the window. He looked up and the phone almost fell out of his hands.
Leah stood in front of him, wearing a black evening gown. It was an off shoulder, which showed her collarbones. She was also wearing the ruby stone necklace, her birthstone, which Ethan had gifted her on her birthday. Her jet black hair had been tied up to a messy side bun, a few rebellious strands blowing in the night wind. He steeped out to open the door for her when he almost tripped at the sight.
The dress had a slit which almost went up to her thighs, putting those glorious bronze legs on display.
God, she was gonna be the death of me.
"Wow. You look gorgeous Dr. Garcia."
She blushed red. "You don't look so bad yourself Dr. Ramsey." He pecked her on her lips.
"Shall we?" He opened the door for Leah, like a true gentleman.
"Yes, we shall." Leah giggled and stepped in. Ethan walked around and sat in the driver's seat, and they pulled out of the curb.
The entire ride was filled with jokes, heated gazes and silent promises. Ethan had placed his hand on her bare thigh, slowly caressing it. Leah knew that it was risky to wear such a gown, but she took the chance anyway. And now here she was, slowly going crazy with Ethan's hand on her thigh.
She wanted to devour him. He looked delectable and so very handsome in a tux. The open buttons, gave her a peak of his collarbones and she literally salivated. Collarbones have always been her weakness.
Soon, they showed up at the restaurant. After handing of the keys to the valet, and borderline threatening him that if there was even one scratch, he would have a nice chat with the manager, they headed towards the restaurant.
"God Ethan, you are such a Karen." Leah giggled.
"I maybe old, but I got that reference!! And no, I am not. I am particular."
"Whatever floats your boat babe." She linked her hands in his and they headed towards the hostess.
"Welcome sir and ma'am. Do you have a reservation?" The hostess asked.
"Yeah... Please check under the name Ramsey."
The hostess checked the log book for a long time. Ethan started sweating. What was taking her so long?
"I am afraid but, there is no reservation under that name sir." The hostess replied timidly, after Ethan's cool eyes landed on her.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Hundred percent sir."
"But it does not make sense...I called two months before to get a reservation... Do you have any empty tables?" Ethan said, pinched the bridge of his nose, slowly getting frustrated.
"Sorry sir but... All the tables are occupied."
Goddammit Ethan!! You had one fucking job.
He led Leah back to the valet and ran a hand through his hair. "I am so sorry sunshine. I just wanted this evening to go perfect and I had to go fu-"
Leah put a finger on his lips. "No. You haven't fucked anything up. It's the gestures that counts. Also, the night is young."
"But you heard the hostess-"
"Well, I have some ideas on how we can spend our anniversary." Ethan just gave her a quizzical look. She took the car keys from the valet and turned towards Ethan and winked. "Get in the car Ramsey. Get ready for the best night of your life."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So your 'best night' includes shopping at Target??" Ethan asked amusement sparkling in his ocean blue eyes.
"Shut up. Where we are going, we need a little more casual clothing."
"But I like your gown. It helps me slip my hand-"
"Shh Ethan!! We are in public. Keep it PG 13 for now." Leah said, as she blushed red. Ethan just laughed, enjoying teasing her.
Leah proceeded to pay for the clothes and pushed Ethan into the changing room with his set of clothes. Ethan simply obliged because by the look of the determined glint in her eyes, he didn't want to be trampled by a woman on a mission.
The dark jeans fit him perfectly and the grey V-neck fit him snugly. He was wearing his slip ons when Leah came out of the dressing room, smoothening her outfit.
She was wearing a black tank top which she tucked into a baby pink skater skirt. On top of the tank top, she had slipped on a denim jacket. "How do I look babe?" She asked as she observed herself in the mirror.
"You know that even if you wore a potato sack, you would still be the prettiest woman I have ever laid my eyes on, right?" Ethan said earnestly.
She gave a soft smile and kissed his bearded cheek. She plopped down next to him and slipped on her white converse hightops.
"Seriously sunshine? Converse again? You literally have so many at home."
"Well I don't have this style. And you know what they say, 'once a converse girls, always a converse girl'." She said as she brushed him off.
"Sunshine.... literally no one says that."
"It's all in the details, E. C'mon let's go."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After a half an hour drive, Leah pulled into the make shift parking lot near the docks. They got out and Ethan let out an appreciative whistle. "Wow."
Leah had brought them to the annual fair, where there were tonnes of food stalls and gaming places. The entire place had been decorated with LED lights that were illuminating the Boston night sky. The Ferris wheel stood tall and proud, moving at a gentle pace. The place was littered with a number of game stalls like 'shoot the bottle' and 'ring toss' where people competed to get a prize. Fairy lights hung from the trees around there and a number of people were sitting under them, laughing, eating and drinking cheap beer.
On the other end there were a number of food stalls open, which were being catered by the numerous food joints in the city. The crowd near the ice cream vendors and the cotton candy vendors were unreal.
"Oh. My. God. Ethan they have go karting as well!!" Leah exclaimed grabbing Ethan's arm and pointing towards the make shift track. The karts had designs in various neon colors and the entire track had been painted with glow in the dark paint.
Leah continued to point at the different places and stalls, talking excitedly, but Ethan's eyes stayed glued to Leah's face with a small smile. The child like wonder in her brown eyes made Ethan melt. Her voluminous dark hair blew with the wind, caressing Ethan's face. The way the neon lights reflected on her caramel skin, the way there was an pearly smile on her face and the way she clutched Ethan's arm made his heart do somersaults.
"Are you even paying attention?" Leah asked, breaking Ethan from his reverie.
"Sorry, I didn't get the last part. Was blow away by how beautiful the view is."
Leah rolled her eyes and smacked Ethan's arm. But there was a small smile on her face.
"Let's go to the go karting place."
"Oh yes. Can't wait to see you behind in the dust." Ethan said with a teasing smile.
"Oh honey. I can't wait to see your face after I defeat you. If you think I am going to go easy on you just because I love you, you are very very wrong." Leah said with a coy smile.
"Oh you are so on. Winner can ask the loser anything and buys snacks."
"Let's do this." Leah said as she cracked her knuckles.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So...what do I ask you?" Leah questioned herself, with her fingers tapping against her chin. She had won hands down. She got a tacky medal which she decided to wear for the rest of the evening. She just continued to wear a smug smile on her face, so that she could annoy Ethan.
"Please, just get it over with." Ethan groaned as he munched on the caramel popcorn.
"Hmmm.... Which is your favourite place to kiss me?"
"Hmmm..that's a tough question.. see, my favourite place is your pussy but I think your neck would be my favourite place to kiss." Ethan mused.
"Why?" Leah asked as she took a bite of bite of the cotton candy, letting it dissolve on her tongue.
"There are three reasons- One, the moment I kiss your neck, you have that wanton and 'fuck me' expression which drives me crazy. Secondly, the moans you let out are....oh Lord. Just thinking about them gives me a bad case of blue balls. And lastly, you become so wet and ready for me... It makes the experience much more memorable." He said nonchalantly as he continued to munch on the popcorn, seeing Leah's reaction from the corner of his eyes.
Leah was blushing wildly. Ethan may come across as a gentleman but his dirty talk made her knees weak like jello. He could speak things that would make a priest blush. "That's not true." Leah weakly objected as she stuffed her face with cotton candy.
"Oh really? So if I do this.." Ethan reached to place a hot, wet kiss on the spot below her ear. Leah's mouth opened slightly at the intense feeling. Her body flushed wildly. Her toes curled as Ethan continued to lick and suck. She felt herself getting wetter and wetter when his teeth sank into the tender spot on her neck. After what seemed like eternity, he pecked it and moved back to admire his handiwork. "....it won't do anything?" He asked in a husky voice.
Leah didn't dare to look at him because she knew that if she would, her face would betray everything. Also she didn't want to see the shit eating grin on his face.
"Shut up." Leah grumbled as she tore and ate her cotton candy more aggressively.
"But I didn't say anything!"
"I know what you are thinking so shush."
Ethan laughed a deep laugh, his dimples on display as he wrapped his hand around her waist. "It's okay sunshine. You can tie me up and have your way later." He said as he kissed her crown.
"Oh look, there is a shooting booth." Leah said, changing the topic before her mind could go into full fantasy mood of Ethan being below her, moaning her name as she rode him six ways to Sunday.
They reached the stall which was decorated in a western country style. "Howdy! Wanna shoot somethings?"
"I'm a healer but.." Leah picked up the shotgun and loaded it while Ethan rolled his eyes. He will never understand her obsession with anime.
"Shoot all the balloons on that board and then you can choose what prize you want." The guy with the handlebar moustache said.
With quick precision, she shot all the balloons in a matter of seconds. She then twirled the gun around her finger and blew the smoke away. "And that's, how you do it in the wild wild west." She said in a smoldering voice.
Ethan and the gamekeeper had their jaws on the floor.
Could she get any more attractive? Ethan asked himself.
"Damn girl.." the old guy with the funny moustache spoke.
Leah gave out a short laugh. "If you don't mind, can I get those rose tinted glasses?" She pointed to a pair of cat eye sunglasses.
"Sure girlie."
After wearing them she grabbed Ethan and walked hand in hand towards the next booth. "Sunshine, what is the point of these glasses if they can't even cover your eyes?"
"These are stylish and I can wear them when I am going out."
"I don't think I can ever understand your sense of fashion."
"Uh duh!! You guys can't even distinguish between 'peacock blue' and 'turquoise' colour."
"Is there even a difference between them?" Ethan asked incredulously.
"A fine example right here."
Ethan lightly shoved her but Leah just held onto their intertwined fingers. She pulled him to her, went on the tip of her toes and kissed him. Ethan cupped her cheek and kissed her slowly and tenderly. The sounds of people talking, the mainstream pop music playing through speakers, everything disappeared as they kissed each other under the neon lights.

"Oh god...I am so full!" Leah groaned she leaned back on her hands. They were sitting under a secluded tree, with golden fairy lights hanging off them.
"Sunshine, I think you will have to roll me out of here." Ethan groaned as his hands caressed her bare thighs, which she had thrown over his lap. He picked up their popsicle sticks, and threw them in a perfect arc, into the nearby dustbin.
"I can't roll out a 6 feet something skyscraper on my own. I would die."
"Sucks to be short." Ethan stuck his tongue out.
"Hey your tongue is blue!!" Leah exclaimed.
"And your is red from the strawberry flavour." He observed.
"Wanna make purple?" Leah asked slyly, waggling her eyebrows.
Ethan guffawed at the expression and soon she also joined in his laughter. She clutched her stomach. "Oww....shouldn't try to laugh too much. Gosh, I shouldn't have taken that second helping of Quesadillas."
"C'mon let's take you home." Ethan stood up and grabbed Leah's hand so that he could pull her up to stand. She dusted her skirt and then intertwined their fingers. She leaned against him, as they headed towards the exit.
"Sunshine?"
"Hmm?"
"I had a lot of fun today. Thank you."
"You can thank me in different ways later." Leah said, as her brown eyes darked with desire.
Ethan just smirked and squeezed her to his side.
"That's a promise baby."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The moment they entered Ethan's penthouse, Ethan pressed Leah against the door. Leah's let out a sharp breath and she looked up at the stormy blue eyes. She could see the desire and the lust swimming in those blues of his and she could also feel the desire in her, ignite like a slow fire.
Ethan cupped her cheek and pulled her in for a heated kiss. She went on her tiptoes to meet him half way. With their lips locked in a passionate embrace, she still felt that he was too far away. So, she hooked her fingers on the belt loops and tugged him closer to her.
Getting the memo, he moved closer until they was no space between them except their clothes. Ethan reached to take her jacket off, which he threw across the room. The need to get her naked, writhing and moaning under him, was becoming overwhelming.
She took out Ethan's shirt and moaned when she felt his warm skin on hers. She wrapped her arm around his neck while she laid her other hand on his bare chest. Her dainty fingers seemed to have a mind of their own. They caressed his chest, his back, his abs and were about to go lower, to his happy trail when he growled and caught them.
He grabbed her thighs and lifted her so that her legs were around his waist. He took her hands and pinned them against the door. The kiss was a fight for dominance, where nobody seemed to be a clear winner. Leah slipped her tongue into his mouth and he groaned appreciatively.
He tastes like ambrosia, sweet nectar and all the good things in life. Leah knew that she could never ever get over the way he tasted.
Ethan lifted her with ease and led her to the first surface he found, the dining table. He moved his hands under her tank top and groaned when he found out she wasn't wearing a bra.
"God Leah, you know how much control it takes to be around you? That when you pull such stunts on me, I just want to bend you over and fuck you on the first surface I find?"
"So what's stopping you?" Leah asked. She pulled him in for another searing kiss.
"After I am done with you...you won't be able to walk for a week." He spoke in a husky voice, filled with need. He took of her tank top and growled appreciatively at the sight of her breasts.
Leah smiled coyly. "Don't make promises you can't keep Ramsey." Ethan just narrowed his eyes and kissed her with so much force, that it made her gasp. His hands reached for her ass and squeezed it.
He then descended on her neck kissing and licking the small droplets of sweat accumulated on her neck. He slowly grinding against her heat, making her aware of how badly he needed her. His hands went from her ass to her breasts. He massaged it before pinching the nipples. Leah yelped. Ethan did not once show her mercy, as he stimulated each sensitive spot on her body. Leah felt as if her nerves were on fire.
He slowly made his way down south, leaving fiery hot kisses on her body. Not having any patience left, he just lifted her skirt up and quickly slid her panties out. Seeing her exposed pussy just made his jeans tighter around his growing erection. He blew air on her wet cunt, leaving goosebumps on their wake. "What are you doing?" Leah asked breathlessly. She was finding it hard to keep her eyes open due to the desire coursing through her veins.
"What we do on a table Sunshine.... Eat." His dark blue eyes met her brown ones and he licked her dripping slit, slowly. Leah thought she was going to loose it at that very instant.
He gripped her thighs and threw them over his broad shoulders and proceeded to eat her out, properly . He swirled his tongue on the sensitive bud of nerves and then went on to stick his tongue into her wet pussy.
He let out a moan, which resonated deep in her core.
He never once slowed his pace. He continued to lap up all the moisture. He alternated between her clit and her cunt. As he pushed his fingers in her, and fucked her, Leah climbed higher and higher. Her stomach started to tighten, with the need to release.
"Oh god...I am gonna come..."
Ethan stopped his hand movements and rose to his full height. Leah's eyes snapped open and she glared at him.
"Fuck you Ethan!! Who the hell gave you the fucking righ- ohhhh."
He shoved his dick slowly into her, enjoying the way her walls clenched around him. They fit each other perfectly. Like two jigsaw puzzles. You couldn't differentiate, where he ended and where she started.
This..this was heaven.
He slowly moved, in and out. But Leah wasn't having it.
"Ethan, I want you to fuck me."
"Are you sure you can handle it sunshine?"
"I ain't no weak bit-" Leah couldn't complete her sentence because at that moment he snapped his hips and started fuking her. He held her hips with one hand for leverage and his other hand gently squeezed her throat, feeling her rapid pulse under his hand.
He did not let go of the punishing rhythm he had set. He moved his hips in such a way that he hit her on that spot which made Leah see stars. It was quite a view for Ethan. The moonlight streaming through the glass facade and illuminating her sheen skin. Her eyes half closed, her breasts moving with every stroke and her legs wound around his hips.
"Please, please, please let me come." Leah choked.
Ethan also felt a tingle in his lower back and his abs constructing. He was close too. His strokes became faster and shorter.
"Okay sunshine. Come."
Just that one word and Leah obeyed. She felt a burst of pleasure rush through her body, setting every part of her alight. She saw fireworks behind her eyelids. She hadn't even come down when, Ethan's release caused her to have another mini orgasm.
It was too much. Way too much.  Aftershocks racked her body and tears streamed down her face as she soared through cloud nine.
Without pulling himself out, he gathered Leah in his arms and took her to the bedroom. He gently laid her down on the bed and pulled out and headed to the bathroom to get a  washcloth. Leah winced and felt empty like a crater.
Ooooh boy, gonna feel that tomorrow.
Her eyes were closed as she tried to catch her breath and get her head straight. Ethan slowly wiped her neck, her stomach and her sore centre, instantly cooling her body down. He threw the washcloth into the laundry basket and slid into his bed. He wrapped his strong arms around Leah and pulled her close to him. He bent down to kiss her lips tenderly.
"I love you sunshine."
"Happy six months, babe. I love you." She gave a tired smile and they both slipped into a dreamless sleep.
Wow that was the longest I have written. *wipes brow*
Like, reblog and let me know how you liked it :))

character development / accepting.  @dolores-agnelli sent:  4, 11, 22, 23, 30 [chinhands]
has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? if so, does anyone else know?
If anything has changed her, she would only be able to realise the transformative aspect of the experience in retrospect... and the subsequent change in her character from that experience would be more gradual and unnoticeable. She used to just dismiss a lot of Weird Goings On as normal, occurences subtle enough that she could rationalise them; blaming a whispering voice when she was going to sleep on her subconscious, ignoring a murder of crows perched on the same telegraph pole when she opened and closed her curtains, thinking ‘nice’ when the image of a skull is burned into her toast...           There are times where even she admits her life has changed though, the most notable being Aggstein Castle, but that was more a case of unlocking something she always felt was dormant... like Carrie unleashing the full potential of her telekinetic magicks after pig’s blood has been poured on her - just nowhere near as traumatic. After which, it was a case of aforementioned moments of ‘unreality’ suddenly becoming noteworthy and sensical. She becomes a lot more perceptive, sensitive to Certain Vibes (a hallway feeling a couple of steps longer, a sudden growth of hawthorn in her garden, the compulsion to cry when passing roadkill). She's fairly vocal about noticing these happenstances, and this habit is just seen as a quirk by her family, but the  actual experience that resulted in her +5 Perception is kept under lock and key...             Otherwise, she marks visiting her aunt in London as somewhat life-changing - when she realised she wanted to pursue desairology and mortuary work, thanks to her aunt being a taxidermist (of animals - not people). That and her first experience of personal loss, the death of her Gran. The grief opened her eyes to how harrowing it feels to lose a loved one, but ultimately heightened her sense of empathy with those who are suffering the same.
in what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?
Dolores saying there’s someone in her house then suddenly hanging up... Funnily, out of everything Sophia has been through, she could have never expected a serial killer targeting her friend...
what does your character like in other people?
Confidence, compassion and a sense of humour. She’s easily swayed by people who seem knowledgeable and experienced - and who are passionate about their respective interests, but is easily put off by preaching, or feeling like she is being talked at rather than talking with. Naturally, she is drawn in by mystery - if she’s partial to someone she can be interrogative, even invasive. To be honest though she’s interested in everyone she meets, and while she knows what she likes - she’s always open to being surprised!
what does your character dislike in other people?
Unwarranted confrontation, people who feel the need to establish some sense of superiority over others - trying to control a conversation.
what does your character find repulsive or disgusting?
Her threshold for grossness is pretty high, at least to do with anatomy. She’s had to reconstruct a skull that has suffered blunt force trauma before... if anything she’s more disgusted by the possible culture around fetishising the dead body (as in - in a real life context) . Being part of an online forum for those in the funeral directory service, everyone is respectful and sensible most of the time, but there have been instances where an unrecognisable user has repeatedly asked her to send ‘before and after’ photos of her work... which is not only lawfully wrong but ethically so - an infringement of the deceased’s family’s trust. Anyone who has credentials in the mortuary business would know this, so it’s obvious when there’s a POSER, but it doesn’t make the experience any less repulsive, and she’s not naive to the possibility that there is probably someone out there willing to provide requested materials for the right price... At the end of the day, she’s more disgusted by what the living are capable of rather than the dead.

( TW : BRIEF MENTIONS OF ABORTION, ALCOHOLISM, AND DRUG USE )
first things first , i’m just going to say it-- margo was an accident . and her story begins with her mother , stassia , who was born and raised on the wrong side of the tracks in chicago , illinois . although she was born into poverty , she had big aspirations for herself and wanted a better lifestyle . her ambition and work ethic were unmatched , and that’s how she managed to get into columbia university ( thank you scholariship $$ ). stassia was in the middle of struggling through her college years when she met her future baby daddy . he was older , going through grad school , and the sole heir to a billion-dollar company . the sparks between them flew instantly despite their differences and they messed around for the better part of a year before the unexpected happened . stassia found herself taking a pregnancy test in the bathroom in between finals ( #justcollegethings , amirite ) and swore she was going to pass out when she noticed the double lines . and let’s just say that her baby daddy did NOT take the news well . a lot of horrible things were said that day . too many hurt feelings for the relationship ( that apparently was never that serious to homeboy ) to carry on . ( TRIGGER WARNING !!! ) so he cut all ties with stassia-- but not before giving her a crazy proposition : get an abortion and never talk to him again OR keep the baby but tell absolutely no one it’s his and never talk to him again . they both seemed like shitty options to stassia , who was actually tragically in love w him , but when he even offered to PAY HER a hefty sum ( i’m talking millions of dollars ) to keep the secret .. well-- it seemed like a blessing in disguise . she’d finally have the funds to live the life she always wanted . even if there was now a baby she didn’t plan for in the mix . so she took the hush money , had the baby in secret , and ran off to completely reinvented herself . ( TRIGGER WARNING END )
although margos mother was born into poverty , margo certainly was not . by the time she was born , margo’s mom was ramping up to graduate college and join the high society in the heart of chicago . she got a good job , a lavish place to live , and never told margo about her past . margo grew up completely disconnected from her mother’s side of the family and had no idea of the lies she was being fed over the years . early on in margo’s childhood , her mother met a man through work who she would later go on to marry . that man is the only dad that margo has ever known . he and his daughter were a welcomed addition to their little family , making margo’s home life feel complete in some way . she was provided a good life with the dual income adding to the millions her mother kept . the life her mother always wished she had growing up . in a way , everything she did was for margo . she never wanted her babygirl to struggle like she had to .
as she got older , margo went to all the best schools but only made average grades . she was never too concerned with academics and instead focused on her poppin’ social life and extracurriculars . during her middle school days , she developed an affinity for the performing arts . when everyone had to pick an elective , margo found herself in the theatre class and absolutely loving it . and she was good too . she had excellent stage presence and took every role she got in school productions in stride -- literally the best tree number 3 you’ve ever seen in your life . as she moved on to high school , she rose in the ranks of the theatre department until she was pretty much landing every single lead by the time she was an upperclassmen . acting was her passion , and she figured why not turn being dramatic and talking a lot ( her two most notable personality traits ) into a career . to really hone the craft , she trained herself to be a triple threat : actor , singer , and dancer ( sutton foster , eat your heart out ) . honestly truly had rachel berry in early seasons of glee vibes-- she knew she was the best around and wouldn’t stand to let anyone take the spotlight from her . her peers hated to love her talents because she acted like such a bitch to them offstage / out of character . not that margo really cared for what others thought of her anyway . self absorbed as ever , she told herself she didn’t need friends and generally pushed away any one that dared try to get close to her-- save for her sister . though somehow , someway she managed to get sucked into a small group of friends that would change her for the better ( s/o to ky and gio , sorry they had to put up w bitchy hs margo , rip )
after graduating somewhere in the middle of her class , margo followed in her mother’s footsteps and went to columbia university . she was really only able to get in because she was a legacy and her parents made a considerable donation to the school , but we don’t talk about it . and to say that margo’s college years were transformative feels like an understatement . on one hand , they were some of the best years of her life : she got a true taste of independence , met some of her best friends ( s/o oliver and claudia ), and felt fulfilled to be in the city she had romanticized for so long-- new york baby ! but it was also a very low point for her . back in her high school years , she felt like a very big fish in a teeny tiny pond . she was hot shit , the top dog in her department , and all her hard work and effort to remain leading lady had paid off . however , at columbia she was just one in hundreds of talented people . some with more or less talent , or more or less connections , but they deserved a shot at fame just as much as she did . margo felt like she was fighting for her chance in the spotlight every single day and it was both parts exhausting and humbling for her . she had a amy march mentality “i want to be great, or nothing” and considered throwing in the towel . temporarily thrown off by the pressure to be successful , she took a small tumble from grace . ( TRIGGER WARNING !!! ) turning towards alcohol was her coping mechanism of choice . losing herself in the party scene and surrounding herself with other people that prioritized getting drunk or high over going to class and getting good grades had an obvious effect on her academic performance . ( END TRIGGER WARNING ) she almost lost her place in the BFA Theatre Program during her junior year due being on academic probation . it took a little bit of intervention on her close friends and family part to get margo clean and pull herself together . but by her senior year , she got back on track to graduate on time and participated in various shows at local theaters to build her resume . after almost losing everything she had ever worked for , a fire was lit under margo that had her determined to push herself hard than ever before and make a name for herself in the theatre world .
after she graduated from columbia she moved to new york permanently so that she could fully submerge herself in her work . not long after graduating , she was lucky enough to book several gigs including her big breakout role as lydia in beetlejuice the musical ! it really skyrocketed her into broadway stardom which is cool . a life long dream that once seemed unobtainable was suddenly a reality and she couldn’t have been more elated . with her sudden ( and well deserved ) success , she got a lot of media attention . soon she was getting verified on twitter , instagram , gaining a whole bunch of followers , and getting asked to be on talkshows and stuff to promote the show . honestly , truly a dream ! but her new-found fame gained the attention of another group of people .. her mom’s long lost family . one of her aunt’s ( that she previously didn’t know existed ) reached out to her through social media . and at first , margo honestly couldn’t believe that she had family that her mom never told her about . but after some thought it sort of made sense . in hindsight , her mom had always been evasive whenever margo asked about the other’s childhood or her side of the family .
when margo told her mom about her aunt reaching out and how she wanted to meet her , her mom shut it down quick . stassia told her there were a lot of reasons that she didn’t talk to that side of the family and that was that-- PERIODT . but margo was #rebellious and went to meet with her aunt anyway . and that’s how she found out about her brazilian roots and her big ol’ loving and supportive extended family . that whole experience made margo reconsider what other things her mom was keeping from her . and boy oh boy was that a rabbit hole she shouldn’t have gone down . when margo started to demand her mother tell her the truth , it caused their relationship to grow tense . stassia eventually cracked and told her about her bio-dad and all the things she went through for margo . with the truth finally being exposed to her , margo started seeing things in a new light . like her whole life is kinda a lie and why didn’t her father want her ? where was he ? does he know who she is ? why did he never try to contact her ? has she ever walked past him in the streets and never knew ? it was all too much for her to think about so she just kinda ... shut it all out . she acted like nothing was different , even if her “ what if ” thoughts keep her up most nights .
if you just ignore the abandonment issues , insecurities , and her inability to handle emotions and focus solely on her success in material terms : margo’s doing really well ! she’s been living in new york full time for two (2) years now . she’s one of broadway’s most popular rising stars . having completed her run as the original lydia deetz on broadway , she’s moved on to take on the mantel of janis in mean girls on broadway . she’s learning , growing , and thriving . just trying to have a good time all the time with her friends and live the dream , baby !
P E R S O N A L I T Y  &  F U N  F A C T S ↴
margo is super fun-loving and down to clown
will try anything once and it’s gotten her in trouble more times than she can count
also cannot stand to be bored , so she’s always looking for the next big adventure
although she can be really ridiculous sometimes , she’s very serious when it comes to her work . she’s super hard-working and doesn’t let anything or anyone stand in the way of achieving her dreams : even herself
margo’s a very sociable girl and will talk to anyone and everyone . she’s the type that will hold a conversation for 2hrs with a stranger at a party and then when you ask her “who was that” she’s like “i don’t remember their name but i do know their entire life story so that’s cool”
has a way of making people feel like they know her really well when really she’s only letting them see 1/8th of her
keeps her personal life private normally unless you’re super good friends w her
i wouldn’t recommend pissing her off , bc she is petty as a mf and will lit rally never forget how one’s wronged her . this causes her to start fights sometimes . she’ll just bring up old shit out of no where and , since she’s nosy af , she makes everything her business and confronts people on their bs
she’s a whole liar bc she claims she’s a “retired party girl” but really party girl margo has never stopped , will never stop , can never be stopped
studied theatre in college but minored in mass communications just in case she needed a backup job
is v bad at being an adult !!!! like ... can’t cook , often forgets about her responsibilities until the last minute or needs to be reminded like 20 times , stills calls her parents to be like “how do u use a washing machine plz help” , y’know the drill . yet somehow she manages to act as a mom friend to the people that are closest to her ??? v much a “do as i say not as i do” type of hypocrite lol
she has a tiktok and posts dumb shit on there all the time w her friends and like vlogs her backstage experiences in the theater and does the stupid dances and all that stuff hehe
is learning portuguese after meeting the brazilian side of her family
self-proclaimed dancing queen and it’s not because she learned ballet , jazz , and tap whole dabbling in other styles but because when she’s drunk you will in fact catch her dancing on tables !!!!!
i cannot stress enough how bad she is at dealing with her own feelings . like ... instead of dealing with them head on she just ... shuts down . runs away . will ghost on someone she really likes just bc she’d rather leave first than get left and i hate her for it
have i mentioned how big her ego is ???? pHEW . she rides a v fine line between self confident and OVER confident . but tbh it’s just a cover up for how much she rlly hates herself , there i said it
loyalty is EVERYTHING to margo . if you got her back , she’s got your back . but if you screw her over or mess with anyone she loves then she’ll likely try to make your life a living hell IM SORRY
undiagnosed insomniac . nights she spends alone in her own bed are the hardest for her because it’s when all the bad scary thoughts creep up on her and no matter how much she wants to shut them out and just close her eyes and fall to sleep , she can’t . so she’ll often roam the city looking for a distraction or hit up her friends and bother them for some spare company
she’s doesn’t like to be alone ( not like in a romantic relationship sense -- she actually likes being single bc she’s afraid of letting ppl get close enough to hurt her ). hence why she’s always had a roommate even after she moved out of her parent’s house . if she’s not attached to her roommate / best friend kylie’s hip then she’s definitely hitting up her sister or her other friends to see if they want to hang out , even if hanging out is laying around doing nothing or running errands together . margo wants to tag along just for the company
notoriously known for coming up with terrible ideas or following through with other people’s terrible ideas without question bc #YOLO
she’s her pr agents worse nightmare simply bc she has no filter and will not change herself or what she posts just bc she has a big audience ( follow margo on social media and you’re gonna see the good , the bad , and the ugly she does not give a FUCK )
always has good intentions ! her execution / way of showing those intentions is just poor !
she is a rich girl that could not survive not being rich and doesn’t even realize how spoiled she is . spends money like it’s nothing
a mob boss ( this is a joke but also kinda not a joke )

One More Night. Pt 12
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kim Hongjoong / fem!Reader
Chapter: 12/14
Genre: Mutual pining, canon compliant, fluffy af, angsty af, suggestive, teasing and filled with that good shit that everyone loves
Words in this chapter: 5591
12th of August and I was alone, “I’m still a bit disappointed that you didn’t warn me” I could hear that he pouted, the wind blew gently through the phone line on his side, and I sighed, missing him where I sat on my own in the empty space of my hotel room, still Australia, just half an hour away, so near but still so far away from him, “You know I couldn’t do that for you” I said with a sad sigh, “The directors had forbidden us to say anything because they wanted your reactions to be genuine” I heard him scoff on the other end, a bit distant as he walked through the backyard of the house they lived in the following two nights, “I guess… but I still don’t understand why you couldn’t come with us” He trailed off, muttering and I chewed the inside of my cheek, falling back on the pillows in my bed, “They didn’t want you to be distracted from doing the mission you’re assigned… and they need me more in LA, with KCON and your final mission in Grand Park…” I said and he hummed, muttered and cursed the production team for separating us and I knew that he’d accepted, but wasn’t happy with my answer, “I miss you” He sighed, and I smiled, feeling my heart aching to touch him. “I miss you too, love” I said, and he exhaled a small laugh, “The love of your life?” He asked and I knew that he was teasing but couldn’t help but agree, “The love of my life” “I’d like that” He chuckled, gently and with a voice soft from affection and I swallowed hard, teeth clenched as I unhappily pursed my lips, missing him even more when he spoke in that tone that made me feel so special, “How is it where you are? Is it a nice place?” I asked while combing my fingers through my hair, looking out through the window from where I laid, at the same moon that he was probably watching as well. “It’s nice, I’m rooming with Youngie for a chance. It’s just one bed but we’ll fit” “Wow, that’s someone I never expected to be jealous of” I said, joking of course and he snorted before he chuckled lightly at my words, “There’s a pool, a trampoline, a big kitchen and a living room, it’s spacious, modern… He trailed off again and I frowned. “What’s on your mind?” I asked and I could almost hear him swallow deep on the other end, “Hyung talked to me just earlier, after dinner. When the cameras shut down momentarily and we’d cleared the table. He knows about us, recognized the change of air, just like you’ve warned me about for months and asked, ‘Do you ever regret it? Regret this life?’ and I got scared, of course” I nodded and hummed in response, the frown still on my face, “So I asked if he felt like quitting, if the pain he’d been feeling lately was getting too much but he shook his head with a smile, and said that he asked for me, for my sake. If I regretted that I chose to be an idol since I’d found love and wasn’t allowed to act upon it, at least not in the way we both wished and… I dunno, it got me daydreaming. About living in a big house like this one, with several small rooms and a big pool, about a large living room and a big table and I…” He sighed, swallowed deep again, “I want that, with you… in the future” I chewed on my lower lip, my soul sang with happiness, and I paused, a deep longing that I’d never experienced exploding in my stomach, making my heart jump and picking up in speed as I thought about his words. Closed my eyes and imagined a big house myself, maybe in the outskirts of Seoul, living like my friends did, with a family of my own. Children with my hair colour and Hongjoong’s eyes, his cute little nose or the curve of my lips. Tiny copies with the same passion for creation as we had, maybe one with his talent for music and another with my work ethic and I felt tears flowing over in my eyes faster than I could comprehend. “Sorry, it’s a silly thought. I shouldn’t hav-” He started, and I could hear how flustered he’d become. “No, I… I’d like that” I interrupted, my voice cracked, and I took a controlled breath. “Oh no, I didn’t mean for you to cry, babe” He said with a gentle voice and I dried my eyes, before I swallowed down the heavy feeling in my throat, clearing it with a small cough and swallowed hard again. “I love you” I said, and he chuckled again, and I closed my eyes as I smiled, feeling the sound of it resonating with every piece of my being, “I love you too… the love of my life” - The flight to LA was bothersome, lonely and I sighed deeply when I put a sleeping mask over my eyes after I’d turned up my nose and not wanting to eat when it was served. Not in the mood for food at all and encouraged Eunji to have it instead. She’d told me the other day that she was pregnant, just passing week fifteen and I congratulated her, of course, surprised that I knew so little about her, not even aware that she had someone to come home to at the end of the day. She offered me a snack bar several hours later as a thanks for my meal, but I kindly declined it. Call me silly, but I didn’t feel whole when I sat there on my own, and the feeling both terrified me and filled my heart with an aching longing, an uncomfortable but familiar, indisputable feeling of the loss I recognized from the time I’ve spent away from the ones I love. I’d always considered myself independent, proudly exclaiming that ‘my work is my life and I don't need any man to force me to become a housewife’ every time my grandparents reminded me that I should find a husband soon. But I wasn’t independent now, I was lonely. I wasn’t hungry even though I hadn’t had a proper meal since that morning, more than ten hours ago. I wasn’t even tired. Awake for half the time spent under the sleeping mask, just thinking instead of actually sleeping. It wasn’t surprising, even though I dreaded that deep-rooted feeling that resonated in the debts of my heart. I was so rarely alone anymore, spending every minute of my life for the past months thinking, feeling and breathing Hongjoong and nothing else. The need for him as vital as air nowadays and I think that it was the thought of that, the sort of realization, that scared me the most. I shuddered from the cold that crept up on me, clasped my hands in my lap and leaned against the wall of the plane, listening to the music the boys had made, smiling softly for myself every time I heard the familiar voice of a rapper, missing him more than I ever thought I could miss another person. - The 14th, 07:00 and I could breathe again. Hongjoong’s bag at his feet, his arms around my body and his nose nuzzled in my hair, holding me tight. Like he never, ever wanted us to be as far apart again, half a world between us for the past two days and even though he was tired, still drunk with sleep and with the jet lag like a thick blanket over his mind, he still wanted to see me before he did anything else. We were alone and I wanted nothing more than just pull him into my hotel room, undress him and just lose ourselves in the immense and reckless need we craved. But there wasn’t any time, we barely had time to even stand there in each other's arms. Hongjoong quickly looked either side of the so far empty corridor before he cupped my face and planted his lips on mine, delicately and with a hushed whiny moan escaping his throat as I buried my fingers in his hair, tugged on the longer strands in the back and flushed my body against his as his tongue flicked out to taste my lips. We got interrupted, just as I was flicking out my tongue to meet his, a door a bit further down opened and then slammed shut and I quickly took a step back, breaking the kiss in the process and clenched my teeth when the staff member gave us a curious look as they passed. Hongjoong still leaned against the door frame of my open door and send them a look back, one eyebrow raised, and his head slightly tilted like he challenged them to keep their mouths shut about the gossip they probably still were going to spread about us. They entered an elevator at the far end of the corridor, and I sighed, meeting Hongjoong’s eyes from underneath his fringe as he turned back to me, my frown turned into a smile when I met his amused expression. Couldn’t help myself from reaching out and combed the hair back, out of his eyes. He leaned into my touch, took my hand in his and pressed a sweet kiss on my wrist, my pulse picking up against the softness of them. - LA, the 17th and I held my breath when I fixed Hongjoong’s bowtie, biting my lip and avoided his gaze until I was finished. He smirked, knowingly and I sighed, clenched my jaw and let my fingers linger on his neck. He looked amazing, so gorgeous it was almost unreal. The slick back faded red hair, almost a purple hue in it now, matching the red in his velvet suit and I wet my lips before I finally met his eyes. Lenses clouding the natural brown in them and he raised his brows, as if he still was surprised by my need for him. .. Ten minutes later and we’re pressed against each other in a small dressing room a few doors away from the others. His tongue in my mouth, my hands in his pants and his hands in my hair, tugging on it to get closer to me. His hushed moans against the nape of my neck when I jerked him of, fast and hard, slipping my thumb into the slit of the head and his motions as he pressed me down on my knees with both hands on my shoulders, impatient and hungry for release and I comply without question, knowing that he’ll gladly repay me ten folds when we’re alone later. Him biting down on his knuckle when my lips closed around his stiff cock, already leaking with pre-cum, enticed from our endless teasing throughout the day. Every small touch, every look, every comment, all leading up to this moment as I bob my head, hollowed my cheeks and sucked hard, letting him hit the back of my throat and choked slightly as I took too much too fast, so excited to please that tears formed in my eyes. His fingers comb through my hair, holding it back out of my face as I looked up on him, meeting the blueish grey gaze of his. He cursed, whispering sweet words, “You’re doing so good, babe. Taking everything at once” and, “Fuck baby girl, you look so beautiful like this, putting those pretty pink lips to work” and, “God, I wanna fuck you so much right now. Let me fuck you, please?” My heart hammered hard at the urgent request and I let him fall out of my mouth again, suddenly appreciative of the still hot outside and my light clothes as I stood up again, without a word and Hongjoong’s mouth fell open when I turned around, leaned over the make-up table in front of me and pressed my ass towards his cock, a low needy gasp escaping his lips when his hands roamed underneath my skirt, stroking over the swell of my ass before he clenched my thighs hard, eager and demanding in his desire to claim me, separating them with slick fingers and I held back a loud moan as he moved my panties to the side, pressed the head of his cock against my entrance, paused and met my eyes in the mirror in front of us. I nodded, gulping before I licked my lips suddenly dry lips and watched as his expression changed when he entered me, keeping eye contact the entire time. A whole sentence of curses left his lips as his head fell when he bottomed out and he rested his forehead against my shoulder blade for a few seconds, warm panting gasps against the spot before he pressed a kiss there and I leaned forward before I pressed back against him again, riding his cock to urge him to move. “So amazing babe, feel so good… I…” He trailed his fingers against my neck, the first few thrusts agonizingly slow and I thrusted back against him, greedy for the friction I craved and he seemed to notice it to, the sweet touches turned dominant in a heartbeat as his fingers trailed up the back of my head where he took a handful of hair and pulled, hard. My head snapped back in the motion and I gasped in surprise, as he began pounding into me, and I had to take a hard grip on the edge of the table to make sure that the sound of thrusting against the wall wouldn’t be noticeable. Biting hard into the bottom of my lip to suppress a yelp as he placed kisses and nibbles along my throat, and clenched my jaw, desperate to not let a sound escape, “Look at us, look at you” He said, admiration in his voice as he met my eyes in the mirror again. My boobs bouncing with every movement and his other hand came up to cup his hand over the left one, kneaded it hard before he played with the nipple underneath my clothes and my head fell back on his shoulder as he let go of my hair to place that hand over my throat instead, his chest pressed against my back and I arched my back to meet his every thrust, panting out gasp after gasp as he got closer and closer. It didn’t take much, just a few more thrusts and he gave me a quick glance to get my approval, and I bit my lip while nodding once just before he fell over the edge, twitching as he came inside of me. I didn’t care that I was nowhere near finishing, just clenched around him to prolong his orgasm, milking him dry inside of me. Some cum trailed down my legs as he pulled out and he gave me a quick sweet kiss before handling me some tissue paper to clean myself up as well as I could before we exited the room, innocent looks on our faces and I spend the rest of the evening, between the screams of Atiny and conversations with the staff, getting more and more wet when Hongjoong’s cum slowly dripped out of me. .. Five hours later, in his hotel room after sharing a shower and he’s flat on his stomach with his head between my legs, eating me out agonizingly slowly. My fingers played with his hair, showering him with compliments as he came up for air for the fourth time. He placed sweet kisses on the insides of my thighs, watching me as I choked on a gasp when two fingers entered me, tickling that sweet spot that made me writhe. “Are you close?” He asked, as if I hadn’t cum twice already, his chin still wet and he licked his lips, swallowing hard as I nodded, feeling that familiar fire flare up again as he pressed his tongue flat on my clit again, licking up my juices like it’s the best thing he’d ever tasted and I gasped out a breathless moan as he pushed me over the edge for the third time that evening. - “It’s raining and all I can think about is you” Hongjoong’s voice was soft through the phone line and I giggled at his words, “I remind you of the rain?” I asked and he paused for a few seconds, “No… it’s the feeling I have in my heart when I’m without you. I was trying to be romantic, ok?” He whined and I chuckled at his cute attempt, knowing but not admitting that he'd succeeded completely. “But I left you off at the dorm literally three hours ago” I said, and he sighed at the other end and muttered "Still miss you though” with a pout on his lips. It had been two busy weeks, coming back home from both Australia and the US to immediately going to the “Soribada awards” The rush when the boys actually won an award for best performance, K-world Festa right afterwards and now, finally, having a day off to get back on our feet. We’d arrived that morning and it was just before 10:00 when he called me to complain about how bored he was. I was seated in my sofa, watching how the rain splattered hard against my living room window while I wrapped the blanket I had thrown over my shoulders tighter around my body, shivering and missing his warmth against mine, my TV on and though voices came through, I wasn’t focused on listening and kept it on more like a white noise in the background. “What are you doing today?” He wondered, with a voice that begged me to be free, to make time for him and I restlessly combed my fingers through my hair, “Nothing really. There’s a movie on the TV but I’m unsure what it’s about still, we’ll see if I’ll find something to do later” “Can you come over? I’d come to you but… you know… I don’t have a driver's licence and my manager doesn't want us to go out today” He asked, and I looked out the window again, debating whether or not it was worth getting completely drenched. “As soon as the rain will calm down” I promised and could hear how he smiled happily at the other end of the line. .. Two hours later and I’d collected the lunch I just made into equally big boxes, before putting them in bags and walked down to my car. It had stopped raining and the sun had come out, the warm beams quickly dried up the puddles and send a nice, earthy smell into the air. The ten-minute ride went quickly, without much traffic and I unlocked the boys’ dorm with a smile on my face. Four of the members; Mingi, Wooyoung, San and Jongho flocked around me immediately, already greeting me as I walked through the front door, immediately noticing the delicious smell that spread through the room from the bags I’d placed on the floor while taking off my shoes. “You brought food?” Wooyoung exclaimed happily and I nodded while hanging my coat. “Homemade? Did you make this noona?” Seonghwa had joined and helped unloading the bags in the kitchen and Yeosang was quick to follow, the drone he’d been flying out of his room crash landed on Yunho’s head as the latter walked straight into its trajectory. I held back a laugh when Yunho caught it before it hit the ground and he gave his younger bro a look, like he was trying to scold him for being reckless but simply couldn’t because it was Yeosang and he already looked mortified of what had happened. I blushed as I followed the boys into the living room, “Yeah, I hope you like it” I said and was quickly attacked as they sandwiched me between them in a group hug, appreciative of my caring side since they very, very rarely had a home cooked meal nowadays. Most of the members didn’t even know how to cook and the ones that could, didn’t have the time that was needed, preferring to place it on things they actually enjoyed doing instead. “Hello” A familiar body pressed up on mine as soon as the members had dissolved around me, sat down, distributed the food and immediately dug in, humming with enjoyment, “Hi” I returned the hug, inhaling the scent of him as he held me close, I could see that Seonghwa watched us in my peripheral, just above Hongjoong’s shoulder, a sad smile on his lips as he paused for only a few seconds between the bites of food. I knew what he was thinking, recognizing that look in his eyes by now and tried not to think about the pain of it as Hongjoong cupped my face and pressed his lips on mine in a sweet kiss. More of the members watched as we parted, wearing similar sad smiles, and I sighed, happy but frustrated that it had to be like this. That we had to hide. “This is some good food; she certainly is wife material. That’s for sure” Wooyoung said, with his mouth full and we laughed, the atmosphere changed into a carefree, happy one and I blushed slightly, avoiding Hongjoong’s eyes as he watched me, the warmth I knew was there still showered my entire being. - “Do you remember back in the beginning of March? We were in LA; I think it was the day after I made my first move on you?” Hongjoong asked. It was a few days later and we laid on their balcony, pillows under our heads as we watched the clouds in the sky, dressed for the still warm weather outside. “Yeah?” I frowned thoughtfully, “I… still regret saying the things I said back then. I was jealous. Of San. Of the attention you gave him when I did you wrong. Of our situation and the fact that I knew how much you craved me as well. I thought you were silly when you rejected my request of just hooking up, realizing much later that you were right to be careful. I wish I’d just come clean with how I felt around that time, that it wasn’t just attraction I felt for you. It could’ve saved me from many sleepless nights” I turned to look at him, surprised, but he refused to meet my eyes, embarrassment flushed his cheeks, “I was afraid that you’d turn me down because of how I acted. I knew back then just as much as right now, how love feels, how much I desired you. Not just your appearance and how you make me feel, but the way that I… need you. Almost like oxygen. Your presence both when you’re with me and the way you linger in my thoughts when you’re not, your opinions, your small smile when I look at you, the way my body fizzles like champagne whenever you touch me, how my blood boils when I think about you and the things I want to do with you. Nothing has changed, I was just scared of admitting it back then. I’m still scared of admitting it, scared that they’ll take you away from me if I ever say it too loudly. Scared that you will leave because you’ll find someone closer to your own age, someone that give you all their time, someone more mature, someone you can settle down with and have the family life I know that you want… and I… I’m scared that I need you more than you need me” He wet his lips, cheeks flushing from the big, heavy words, swallowed deep and my heart hammered as I watched him, the pulsating feeling of tender endearment between us made me nervous, restless and forced me to sit back up. Hongjoong looked up at me, sorrow and fright that I’d just stand up and leave shadowed his eyes, but I didn’t do as he’d expected, I just leaned back against the wall of the building, the stony surface was hot from the warming sun. “I felt the same back then, the way you describe. I feel the same right now. It scares me as well. I don’t want you to get punished for being with me. Even if we’ve been careful, I’m still scared. I wish things were different, I wish I could kiss you and hold your hand whenever I want. I wish we could go on a date once in a while, in nice clothes and not hiding with face masks, caps and oversized clothes just after darkness falls… But it’s ok, because I love you and I don’t need all of those things, I just need you to love me, to want the same things as me. I want a family with you in the future, not anyone else. Even if I have to wait over a decade before it happens” He averted my eyes again, a small smile on his lips and I chewed on the inside of my cheek, “I’ve always felt like you’re the one that doesn’t need me, though. I’m disposable, you’re the idol. I could get fired tomorrow and the next person can just literally pick up where I left off. Your entire stage wardrobe for the next concept is finished, I have a whole storage with clothes, catalogued in order for interviews, fan signings and showcases that will last until Christmas and I finished mending the last piece of accessory three days ago...” “Babe…” He interrupted in a murmur, like a warning. But I didn’t listen, “No, really. You’re set for the next following months and I-” “Babe!” He suddenly said, not loud to rouse suspicion but enough to startle me as he sat up as well and ripped the sunglasses off his face to make proper eye contact with me, “I’m not scared of losing my stylist. I’m scared of losing you, the love of my life. I’m scared that they’ll force you off the company and create some kind of restraining order that’ll keep me from seeing you” His face was flushed with an angry red and I swallowed, realizing what he was talking about and felt my heart sink to the bottom off my stomach, sorrow and helplessness picking at it like sharp needles, “I’m sorry” I said, and his face immediately soften while he shook his head, “No, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to be rude… I just…” He shrugged and I took his hand in mine, squeezed it and pulled him towards me, “You’re everything to me. You, the members, my music, my family back home, atiny of course, it’s all connected in a big circle of what I need in life and you’re at the epicentre of it all. You have my heart; I don’t think I’d survive an entire day if you wouldn’t be there with me” My bows furrowed as I reached out for him, squeezing his hand in mine. “I’m not joking” He said, eyes so sincere that my heart flipped in my chest, “Whenever we’re together, I feel at home” - The two weeks that followed was filled with new choreo, finishing up the mixing on the new album and preparing for the comeback in early October. I rarely saw them, too busy with my own part in the comeback that soon enough it was the 14th of September and the time for a change of style had arrived. The same hairstylist who’d done Hongjoong’s red hair had him sit in a stool as I brainstormed ideas with her. Explaining the concept and how I imagined his look to be. She nodded, thought for a while, and Hongjoong watched us. Half worried and half intrigued. I gave him a bright smile, persuading him without effort to trust me and he returned the smile with a sigh, wet his lips and clasped his hand when the stylist tugged on his fringe, "How do you feel about an undercut? And a change of colour?" She asked and he bit his tongue, a bit unsure. I placed my hand on his shoulder, my fingers briefly brushed over the hair in his neck, and he met my eyes in the mirror, a gulp made his Adam's apple bob and the stylist glanced at the motion before she looked away again, as if she quickly realized she witnessed something she shouldn't have seen. "Like a military cut hairstyle?" I asked and she shrugged and nodded, "I think it would fit well with what you've told me" I nodded as well, a bit thoughtful but trusting her professional judgement, smiled and met Hongjoongs eyes again, "What do you think Joongie?" He pursed his lips at my question and turned around in the chair, "Are you sure, b-" He coughed, nearly calling me 'babe' in front of my distant co-worker, his gaze flicked as he scratched his neck, "Because I trust you with everything I got. You know that, right? I need you to be sure" "I know, I'm sure" I said and the hairstylist looked away from us, her cheeks a faint rosy colour and I wondered what went through her head as she turned on her heel to fix the bleach that would take away the familiar red I'd loved for months. - It was the 18th, a few hours after the new comeback photos released and we walked hand in hand down the Han River in a secluded park, almost a mile from the main buzz in the big town. Hongjoong with a cap over his eyes and a mask over the rest of his face. Dressed in a tee and a light jacket, his usual black slacks and regular sneakers. It was risky, walking like we did in the open, but we’d checked, and double checked to make sure that no one had followed us. It was a sunny, beautiful day and we’d been chatting about music, about fashion, laughing and enjoying our time together, knowing that we wouldn’t be able to spend so much time with each other, not in the same way at least, after their comeback in just over two weeks. The mood surrounding us was light and bright, and I felt like nothing at all could disrupt the feeling between us. I had everything I wanted, right there, in my hand, walking beside me and though it was tough, needing to hide all the time and not being able to shower him with affection I felt for him at any given moment, there was a time and place for everything. Our feelings were great, the sex was great, everything was great, but I still felt a feeling of fear, like I’d done since we first slept together. A sick, retching part of my being that tried to persuade me that everything was going to go to hell. “What are you thinking about?” He asked with a worried sigh, stopping under a tree, the leaves were still a light yellow, but you could see that autumn was coming, give it just a month and the same leaves would be a bright brown instead. He grabbed my other hand in his as well and squeezed softly, encouraged me to speak, “I just have a bad feeling” I said and bit my lip, looking around us with an anxious gaze as he sighed, “And you’ll always have, it’s inevitable, for as long as we’re together” He placed his hand on my cheek instead and I tried to turn him down, to not make it look like we were an actual couple. But I couldn’t. Of course, I couldn’t. I could only sigh as he took a step forward, gave me a small smile and pulled down the mask to let it rest over his chin before he pressed his soft lips onto mine. - “Are those flowers?” I asked, dressed in sweatpants and an old tee. It was evening, the 22th and I was not expecting a visitor at all, but didn’t mind the company as Hongjoong chuckled sweetly behind a bouquet of roses, “Yeah, last time I checked at least” He answered, a teasing twinkle in his eyes from the obvious answer and I blushed slightly while looking away, taking a step to the side to invite him in, “... Why?” I asked and squinted at him thoughtfully, but he only shrugged as he helped me take down a vase from the top of my kitchen cabinets. “I wanted to give you flowers, that’s what you do when you love someone, right?” He said and gave me a smile while I placed the flowers in water. “Thank you, they’re beautiful” My stomach did somersaults at the sweet action and I felt a warmth spread in my chest as he embraced me, after removing the cap on his head. He wore a dress shirt tucked into his jeans, a light jacket which was longer in the sleeves, giving him sweater paws as he pressed his hands against my back in the long hug. “You’re beautiful” He whispered into the nape of my neck and I swallowed hard at his words, my brows furrowed as the familiar strained feeling of sadness rippled through me.

Kenny Jules Morifi-Winslow - The Third Citizen
Tumblr media
Culture. Fashion. Design. Art.  These are the realms of expression that peppered our chat over coffee in Johannesburg’s upwardly trendy Rosebank. Kenny Jules Morifi-Winslow is a South African creative who has dedicated her career to the study of culture, fashion and art. A fashion anthropologist and Master’s graduate from Parsons School Of Design, Kenny writes The IIIRD Citizen. Her lifestyle blog integrates academic essays, creative writings and poems that contribute towards opening critical discussions. On The IIIRD Citizen, Kenny expresses her passion for culture and fashion through literary works .She inspires her readers to look at the concept of fashion beyond the visual appeal while ensuring she stays current by publishing the latest reviews from the fashion, design and food industry.
In the following interview, Kenny shares what exploring different countries was like throughout her childhood and the reason why being educated about culture and society is so important to her. Most significantly, she discusses the factors that played a role in shaping who Kenny Morifi Winslow is as we know her today.
I KNOW THAT YOU’RE PASSIONATE ABOUT CULTURE AND FASHION BUT EXACTLY WHO IS KENNY AND WHAT DRIVES HER? That is like asking how long a piece of string is, it depends. I think as people we are in the same way as culture – ever changing and ever evolving .The person I was is not the same person I am today based on the experiences of yesterday and the experiences of today. I am a passionate person, I think I’m a little bit volatile because of it, a bit intense, I think I’m grounded , I like plans and organization. But I’m also a dreamer in a sense that I don’t confine myself to the limits of possibility, of thinking. And I’ve proven that to myself in achieving all of those typesets so I have no reason to doubt that. So yeah: grounded, dreamer, believer, passionate, intense, and curious.
HOW HAS PHILOSOPHY AND ANTHROPOLOGY INFLUENCED THE WAY YOU SEE LIFE?
I always wanted to study Fashion Design but my parents weren’t keen on it. My dad wanted me to study law. So first degree I was accepted for a straight LLB at UCT, I arrived at registration day and I was like I actually can’t do this. This is not who I am, I’m going to be miserable and I switched to Anthropology, Artistry and Media. Anthropology at its core is a way of thinking, it’s a way of looking at the world, and it’s an interrogation essentially.  Anthropology teaches you how to ask questions .And I think that had a very strong influence in how I approached fashion in general because it was so important to me. I wanted to do so much more than just make it, I wanted to understand it and I wanted other people to understand it, and to recognize that it is not as simple as putting on a t-shirt and glasses.  There are so many questions you can interrogate about a single product that I have taken upon myself to ask about the fashion industry as a whole.  It’s a cultural statement. It’s identity, its politics, it is everything.
YOU HAVE A VERY UNIQUE SENSE OF STYLE. WAS IT FORMED AS YOU DISCOVERED YOUR IDENTITY OR IT’S ALWAYS BEEN A PART OF YOU?
In my youth I was a lot more playful when it came to my clothing, more colour, I took more risks. I still wanted to look cool without thinking too hard. That was reflective of the stage I was in my life. It’s very easy to be carefree when you’re a student. Going to Parsons and moving to New York City by myself was an emotional rollercoaster. I had to grow up very quickly with that experience. By attending one of the top fashion schools in the world you’re exposed to so many more influences. The older I get, the simpler my style becomes because I start to understand things like quality, what luxury actually means and what style actually means.  Trends mean absolutely nothing to me. I still have things in my closet from when I was 16 and things that my mom wore when she was 21 because they are timeless classic pieces. If you focus on shape,  fabrication and the way things are made, then the time period you’re wearing it in or even what color it is doesn’t matter. You can always work it into your wardrobe. My style is at its core influenced by the things I studied. Art History teaches you how to think about proportion, shape and color. Anthropology influenced the way I think about how my clothes are made, where my clothes are made and what my clothes are made out of. And then my Master’s Degree was the mix of both. It taught me about sustainability, ethical production and cultural significance. It taught me how the choices I’m making impact my identity, what they say about my identity and how the rest of the world interacts with that.
YOU HAVE LIVED IN CAPE TOWN, LONDON, JOHANNESBURG AND NEW YORK. WHAT WAS THE EXPERIENCE OF NAVIGATING ALL THESE CITIES LIKE?
Wow, I could write a book about it. London is where I grew up. That is where I spent the majority of my life. From London it was Johannesburg then Cape Town for 4 years and then it was New York. Navigating those spaces was wild from a racial perspective most prominently. In London I went to an international school.  It was a small diverse group with people from all over the world so we were exposed to a lot of cultures and I wasn’t weird. Then I moved to Johannesburg. Being mixed race had never been an issue until I came back to South Africa as a teenager. People started calling me coloured and they couldn’t understand why I don’t speak Afrikaans and I’m trying to explain that I’m not colored. That was kind of tricky. And then Cape Town of course – the majority of my friends and my social circle are black. Cape Town is a very white city so were always very conscious about the spaces where we were safe, welcome or unwelcome in. The racial divide in that city is unreal. And then I moved to New York where mixed race people are considered black.  I was there at the time when Black Lives Matter movement was at its peak. I feel like I became a staunch defender of my blackness.  Moving to New York and learning about these things made me feel like I am black because as much as I benefit from privileges such as Colorism because I’m light-skinned and I have good hair, I win in that way. But at the same time I am still prejudiced in the same way that a lot of black people actually are. So why not fight for those struggles instead of just defending my privileges? But you learn to adapt quickly. The move from South Africa to London which was the first big move really taught me how to navigate spaces and then moving every time after that became easy.
I LOVE IT WHEN YOU SPEAK ABOUT PARSONS SCHOOL OF DESIGN. YOU SPEAK OF IT WITH SO MUCH PASSION. HOW HAS PURSUING A MASTERS IN FASHION AT THIS INSTITUTION OPENED YOUR MIND?
My Masters programme was only 5 years old in the world and this particular course was called Fashion Studies. It had only existed for 5 years and they only accepted 30 people a year into this programme. What was really special about that particular programme is that you don’t have to have a background in Fashion. I was in class with people who had Politics degrees, economic degrees and people who came from Development backgrounds. Then we would all sit in class and have to apply our individual knowledge skillsets to this one topic. I think one of the most incredible experiences was the resources that people are. It completely changed the way I think about the work that I do. The resources I had at my disposal were unbelievable, absolutely incredible. New York City itself is a resource; the books, the museums and the galleries – incredible.  So I think it completely changed the way that I think about what I do in the sense that people ask  all the time, “what do you do” and they expect one job like I’m a banker or I’m an accountant. What Parsons taught me in particular is that there is no way to define the thing that I do now is because it has so many angles and facets.
WHY IS SUSTAINABLE FOOD AND DESIGN SUCH AN IMPORTANT COURSE TO YOU?
On a global scale, we have done a lot of damage to the environment. Capitalism has done a lot of damage to the environment and being conscious of it is a way to remedy some of that damage. I think it is especially important in developing economies like South Africa because it presents an opportunity for us not to make the same mistakes as developed countries. We can develop at the same rate without making the same mistakes. If we can build an economy that is already ethical and focused on sustainable production then by the time we become as big or as powerful or as rich as America, we don’t have issues like wage gaps, gender pay gaps or carbon emissions. To highlight those issues is to learn from the mistakes of the developed nations and prevent them in developing nations. It’s always a juggle between my world and my life in the first world where it’s about how do we reduce our emissions, how do we limit our impact on the environment.  And then I come here and it’s about what are the ways moving forward we can achieve the same thing without making that mistake. How do we avoid genetically modified products? How do we avoid outsourcing our production systems to places like China and Taiwan? By building those production systems here, you circulate the money, wealth and the production to keep the entire supply chain local and we stimulate our own economy in the same way that China did. Then we run into whole new issues because China has issues with chemicals leaking into the environment and now there’s a chemical impact on the environment. There are so many plot points we need to identify and I think sustainability and ethical production in designing and food - particularly in South Africa - are the ways that we ensure a healthy growth  process for the economy.
AFRICAN FEMINISM IS A TOPIC YOU HAVE HIGHLIGHTED IN YOUR PREVIOUS WORKS. WHAT DOES IT REPRESENT TO YOU?
It is important for us to have our own brand of feminism because feminism as we understand it is a very white concept. White women are very happy to fight for gender but never for race. They become two different issues for them.  Whereas for black woman in particular it’s not one or the other, it’s both all the time. We need to start unpacking for ourselves what that means – what black feminism means what it means when we talk about each other’s  hair textures and when we number them or when we tell girls who wear weaves that its synthetics and you’re not natural or why are braids and dreadlocks more highly respected than weaves and relaxed hair. Those are topics that are so unique to us and we sometimes overlook what that does to black womanhood. A lot of people aren’t honest about the thoughts that they have and if we don’t talk about them we can’t fix them.  It’s really important for me to champion black feminism especially because it’s a fight our mothers didn’t get to fight and it has fallen on us now because we have the voice and we have the platforms to be able to talk about these things. I have a platform with an audience so why not talk about the real stuff?
WHY IS CULTURAL APPROPRIATION A DEBATE YOU FEEL STRONGLY ABOUT?
The problem with cultural appropriation is power. People think that it is about “creative integrity” and “this thing belongs to us and doesn’t belong to you” – no, it is about power.  It’s also important to trace the history of things we think belong to us. Shweshwe print was given as a gift to King Shweshwe. It didn’t come from us; we just adopted these things and made them apart of our culture. The problem is when they take it back from us; make money off of what we have created now as our culture without referencing the process of how we got there. Cultural appropriation is such a tricky debate and there is so much grey area when it comes to cultural appropriation that we have to interrogate. That is the point of things like anthropology, the point of the work that I do.  It is to go a little bit deeper and take it one step further. When we claim wax prints –who brought wax prints to Africa? Vasco da Gama is a Dutch company and they brought that stuff here. We didn’t make them we just claimed them so whose culture are we really appropriating? But the difference with that is it was never part of Dutch culture, it was part of the Dutch economy. And now we have the difference between culture and economy which we have to define and that filters into so many conversations about food and politics. Cultural appropriation is deep.  People think fashion is frivolous-no, it’s a cultural history of a people or a person or a place.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE SOUTH AFRICAN OR AFRICAN CREATIVE INDUSTRY AT THE MOMENT?
I think we should separate South Africa from the rest of the continent because there’s a lot of amazing stuff happening in countries such as Nigeria and Kenya. And the thing that they have that we are lacking is patriotism in our designs. They believe in their own work, aesthetic and style. They produce it themselves and it has a very unique perspective. I love that. But I think South Africa is still struggling with replicating international designs or styles instead of creating our own. Especially when it comes to street wear labels; it’s just copy & paste of international street wear labels. But then if you think about things like furniture design, we’re really excelling in things like that because we are the home of those natural resources. Therefore our artisans have a much better access to those things and have a fresh perspective because we’re such a diverse country. There are so many cultures to pull from, take inspiration from and to diversify and make new. I think that’s really cool.  But we still haven’t found a way to do that when it comes to fashion whole-heartedly. We have a long way to go when it comes to that.
IN THIS AGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA WITH SO MUCH HAPPENING IN OUR GENERATION, AND AROUND US, WHAT KEEPS YOU GROUNDED?
I’m a writer at the very core of what I do, however I do it.  What keeps me grounded is that to be a writer – a good writer- you have to write about yourself. You are the subject that you know best so a lot of my work and most of the work that has garnered me the most praise is the personal stuff where I can take something that is personal to me and make it about something outside of myself. People get so concerned with being a brand that they even forget to be a person. I think that’s what people forget when it comes to social media and being an influencer.  My brand is being a person. My whole brand is built on being human and sharing human stories and sharing my perspective on things we’re talking about, the things that aren’t sexy and are a little bit dark and a little bit ugly but that everyone can relate to. All of these different things that people don’t really talk about especially on a high profile and highly visible platform.  My philosophy is to use that platform for exactly that. So I think the work itself keeps me grounded.  There is no way I could float into the sky because the reason that I have any kind of popularity is because I’m so open and so honest about who I am as a person and how I became that way.
HOW DO YOU MANAGE ENDORSING BRANDS WHILE STILL STAYING TRUE TO WHO YOU ARE AS A PERSON?
It’s a really tough thing to do. Sometimes brands will approach you and here’s my thing- this thing called integrity. I don’t mind saying no to brands and I’ve said no to a lot of brands. Because on a superficial level it doesn’t fit who I am, how I dress, the things I do or how I consume things. But even with the brands that I do say yes to, it’s why am I saying yes, do I have enough creative control to be able to write my own story and slot this in. Or is it a straight up brand endorsement? Even with the brands that I’ve worked with - I’ve spent my own money in the past or I’m currently spending my own money and I can find an angle, a narrative to tell a story and that’s important to me. It is to be able to tell stories through brands; that’s advertising.  Advertising is all about creating an emotional connection between a consumer and a product.  I am the emotional connection between a consumer and a product.
WHO ARE THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE PLAYED A ROLE IN SHAPING WHO KENNY IS TODAY?
Wow, so many people, but obviously my parents at a foundational level. I know everyone says that but I think that with me it’s a little bit deeper than that because like I said I’m mixed race. My mom is black Sotho and my dad is white Italian American. So a lot of my interest in culture, language and history comes from them. A lot of my activism I learnt from home. And a lot of my curiosity, appreciation for knowledge and education I learnt at home -which I’m grateful for. My upbringing- moving around a lot has taught me adaptability in particular ways and particular situations. You have to be a chameleon. But outside of that, I think there are external influences like people that I’ve never met, icons that I admire, writers, poets, photographers, film directors but I’ve never met them so I can’t really say they have shaped me into who I am. The men that I have loved in my life have played very significant roles in how I became the person that I am. The kinds of men that I’ve loved have all represented a different lesson, a different learning. And I think as much as I’ve always been a creative writer in particular, certain loves have given me poetry and have given me a depth of feeling that is now very important to the quality of my work. It’s about who you are and who you become in and out of love that shapes how you move forward. There’s a reason that you were there.  They taught me things and you’ve taught me things and I carry those lessons around with me every day in every form - In the way that I write and the things that I write about.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BIGGEST LESSONS YOU’VE LEARNT ON YOUR PATH?
1) The most recent one was the struggle between being an exceptional student to feeling like a mediocre adult. I was a straight A student my entire school career – from grade 1 to my Master’s degree.   It’s very easy to grade schoolwork – you get a brief, produce work and get a mark back. I’m good at that.  And then when I came into the world after that I was trying to navigate not having a rigid system to validate me. I don’t have professors that are praising my work. I don’t have a report card that says cumm laude – it’s just life. And in life, there are so many other people, who can do what you do, who do what you do and might do it better. Then you suddenly went from competing in this tiny little pool into this massive big world and that’s tough. That’s a really tough adjustment to make  especially if you’re working freelance like I do. Going from being a student to being just a regular grown up person working was hard. It’s a game of pivots – just keep moving, switching and figuring it out.
2) Another lesson that I’ve learnt is that sometimes you’re the problem. We are very quick to point fingers and say they did this which is why I did that or well you did worse than  I did. We’re quick to compare, we’re quick to pass judgments. When you take all of that away sometimes you are the problem – you need to fix some issues in yourself.
3) The third lesson that I’ve leant is that sometimes you have to ask for help when you need it. Don’t be precious about asking for help or sharing ideas.  I leant this year what collaboration actually means. It’s not you do one thing and you do another and then we put them together. It’s about how do we marry our two schools of thought or our two ways of thinking or perspectives into this one product at the end. It’s very easy to say, but it’s much harder to do and execute.
OKAY, NOW THIS IS A FUN ONE. WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 3 LIFESTYLE TIPS?
1) Don’t force the issue: People have this thing about flamboyancy and doing too much. That for me is not style - that is fashion. Fashion comes and goes. At school we used to differentiate between fashion with a capital ‘F’ and fashion with a small letter ‘f’.  Fashion with a capital ‘F’ is trends – what’s trendy right now. Fashion with a small ‘f’ is the way you make something, the way you fashion something – production or a thought process. When I say don’t do too much I mean don’t do fashion with a capital ‘F’.  Forget about trends.
2) Identify what your style staples are and stick to them. And then you can deviate from that in small ways.  I’ve got a uniform colour palette and set of shapes.   I like neutral colors. The place where I have a lot of fun with my fashion and my wardrobe is shapes. So you can have a whole white wardrobe if you want but have interesting shapes, interesting cuts and interesting styles.
3) Rather save your money and buy less at better quality. I think this is the most important tip.  I have blazers that were bought for me when I was a teenager.  I still have a Michael Kors tuxedo blazer my mom bought for me when I was 16 in New York. It will forever be timeless because it is so well made, such great quality. Before I would buy a new outfit whenever I went out but now I’ll buy 2 pairs of really well-tailored trousers and then I’ll buy  4 really well-made shirts. That becomes a staple. From there you build and you add small things, small detail. But the core staple remains the same. Choose quality over quantity.
SO WHAT IS NEXT FOR KENNY MORIFI WINSLOW?
Ooooh! I’ve got a big project in the works. I don’t want to reveal too much but March of 2018 keep your eyes peeled. I started a company and we do something very unique.  But it has its own name, its own look and its own brand identity independent of Kenny Jules Morifi-Winslow. It’s going to be cool.
WHAT MESSAGE WOULD YOU SEND TO PEOPLE WHO ASPIRE TO WORK IN THIS CREATIVE SPHERE?
I would say – and this is something I learnt from Anthony Bila (The Expressionist) - he studied something so far away from the thing he does now.  He worked in advertising and after 10 years, he quit. He only started following his real passion at the age of 29. In the last two years he has excelled like out of this world - his work has been exhibited internationally, he consults on panels; he directs commercials that we see on television. He is behind so many things and we just see the photographs that he takes.  Anthony has worked so long and so hard in the creative sphere to build enough respect and credibility to be able to do things that he didn’t study. I’d use that example to communicate to young people to do the work. You don’t have to study it. A lot of people can’t afford to study – the internet is your teacher. Consume things, look at different things, look at film, listen to music, go places you’ve never gone before. Do things outside of what you think is your style or your vibe, experience things and just create.  The thing we do as creatives is we agonize over the idea. Is it going to be good enough? How am I going to do it? Essentially you’re doing it for you, if you’re not doing it for you then you’ve got this whole thing wrong. Creativity is problem solving and a lot of those problems are in us. Do whatever it takes to find your thing and just keep doing it.
By using her platform, Kenny continues to push forward the movement of African feminism, cultural appropriation and ethical food & design through eloquent literature. The knowledge that she has garnered from Anthropology and Masters in Fashion is reflected in her work as she inspires us to look at these topics with a much more critical approach. With an eye for aesthetic visuals, a timeless minimalistic style sense and a depth to her soul, Kenny Jules Morifi-Winslow is a young activist using her power to raise awareness for a sustainable future in the world of art, fashion and design.

"Lucidity Roses"
LUCIDITY ROSES ルシディ・ローゼズ
Dedicated to:
This poem, project, and visual representation of mental growth & beauty is dedicated to someone I miss dearly and think about everyday. My best friend Jaedin A. She helped me get through everything. From my first heartbreak, to my first day of suicide watch in the hospital. She was there. From crying over being abused in a relationship to crying over being locked in a hospital room. She was there. As I write this dedication with tears falling down my face like that day let it be known that I would not be here today. Mentally, and physically if it weren’t for this person. It’s nothing simple like I got an injury and she stopped the bleeding therefore she “saved my life” shit. It’s more like I couldn’t find my own injury but she stopped it from hurting by just being there with me. No matter the situation. Whether it was when I was 1,500+ miles away or just inches away she helped me push through everything that would’ve broken me. Thank you so much for existing in my era. Xox
This piece is heavily inspired by Jenny Holzers ‘Truisms’ poem. Her diverse yet obvious stanzas created beauty by the things we see and hear everyday. Basic knowledge formed together to create a intricate puzzle like piece that allows the mind to gain an insightful view. Thank you Jenny. Alongside being dedicated to my best friend Jaedin it is dedicated to those who did me wrong. Sorry to kill your vibes but no one can bring me down no matter how long they try. With all love and no hate <3 -Julian
WARNING
This is art. This is real. This is raw. I speak my mind and express everything I see and understand. This ain’t some politics-free Facebook post. Not wanting to argument with family members shit. I’ve been blocked by family members for the things I’ve said. My aunt blocked me after posting pro-black lives matter messages on my Facebook. Apparently not wanting to see my half blood brother on the news is too offensive. Wanting justice for innocent people was “too much”. Putting bad cops in the system they avoid was “too excessive”. If you can’t respect my existence or my families and friends then fuck you. This country has been hypocritical since the day it was founded, but overtime new laws and such have been put into the system yet they still treat us like the cameras ain’t recording, like the wounds ain’t showing, like the pain ain’t growing. So realize that this piece isn’t some school assembly script. This is raw and uncut like Trumps Twitter minus the fact that I’m not a damn idiot. Also while reading this piece you have to be in touch with the other side. By that I mean you have to be relaxed and at peace. Plug in headphones, white noise machine, open the window, do what you gotta do to be ready to see instead of just read. It’s like a deep song with curse words in it. You can’t listen for the words, you have to listen for the meaning. If Van Gogh painted Starry Night in an art class no one would fully appreciate it for the way it was meant to be. Art is three dimensional and up. It can be seen from many sides. Although all of them can be justified, when the artist explains what his two dimensional view of the piece is you gotta just sit back in amazement. The whole time I was writing this I had that mindset. This my canvas mindset. Knowing that each stroke on the white surface has to be better than the last. So here is my piece. My canvas. I hope you enjoy and understand.

Everything in this project has meaning. Everything. I would stay up til the early hours of the morning just thinking and trying to tell my story while correlating it with symbols and clues. Notice how there is every letter in the alphabet on here twenty six times? That was a tribute to Holzers style she had on “Truisms”. Notice how every letter is lowercased? Also a tribute to Holzer. The cover art, hand drawn by the way, the cover is a skull with three roses coming out of it. Those three roses represent the three loves of my life. From best to worst going left to right. The words above them show what they gave and introduced me to. Love, lust, and lorn. All of these things are apart of life. The three emotions we all are controlled by in life. The three things that can break us from ourselves. That’s why the skull is there. After all those things I had to endure I felt nothing but dead inside. On the outside it was visible too. From the days my mother would ask me what’s wrong to the days I would break down at school. It was visible. I seemed dead on the inside. They say nothing is as dry as the bone, but I found a way to push through. My rebirth allowed me to show the world I am still here. After my battles with love a rose grew, after my battles with lust a rose grew, and even after being beat down and almost held away from the light that helped me grow, a rose grew from lorn. I am still recovering from these three things. The roses vary in stages because of this. Lorn was the most impactful on me hence why the rose is the smallest of the three. It is taking time to heal from these things, but I am reborn. Three things that have claimed my last three years. From the day after middle school ended where I was in my room all day crying because I never took a chance at shit to the first day of suicide watch. These are my past lessons. This is my life. Thank you all for allowing me to fully expose this. I hope that this can inspire you to become the best you. I hope this can inspire you that no matter how crazy, lonely, and heartbroken you feel you’re never alone on this crazy ride we call life. Thank you very much. Xoxo -Julian

The Hennessey Performance Tuner School- High Performance Education
Hennessey Performance’s Tuner School in Sealy, Texas is an institution that teaches prospective performance vehicle builders how to make fast cars go faster. Their 14-week program limits class sizes to 15 students and not only imparts knowledge in the classroom but teaches hands on application in the shop and on their private race track, Lonestar Motorsports Park. The skills taught included but are not limited to the following:
Chassis Dyno Operation Air/Fuel Calibration Turbo Systems Supercharger Systems Nitrous Systems Engine Management Tuning (SCT, AEM, etc.) Brake Systems Suspensions (Street, Drag & Road Race) Drag Racing Road Racing Alignments & Corner Weighting Safety Equipment Fuel Systems Cylinder Heads, Cams & Valvetrain Manual Transmissions Auto Transmissions Speed Measurements / Telemetry Racer Math Basic Fabrication Exhaust & Header Systems Tools & Equipment Parts & Vendors Engine Dyno Click here for detailed course descriptions of the program.
Graduates of the school have gone on to work for world class tuning shops and automotive businesses has fabricators, technicians, shop managers, and more. For a total cost of $14,675 (GI Bill accepted), students leave the program with all of the applicable skills, motivation, and work ethic needed to have a successful career at the bleeding edge of the automotive performance industry.
We had a chance to talk with current Tuner School pupil Jenifer Peters from Alberta, Canada. After a year at Bible college in British Columbia, she received her motorcycle technician’s certificate, all the while knowing about Tuner School. “I contacted Tuner School, applied, and submitted my application not thinking I’d get accepted or anything,” said Jenifer. “I did it just to see if it was an opportunity for me. A couple of days later, I got a call, and they said ‘if you can come across the border, come on down.’” She’s now about halfway through her education in Texas and gave us some insight into her experience.
HRM: What were other career paths you may have taken had it not been for Tuner School?
Jenifer: Honestly, farming. What got me into cars and turning wrenches was doing some restorations on the side at the farm.
HRM: What kind of things were you working on, and did that spark the notion of an automotive technical career being the one you wanted to pursue?
Jenifer: It was mostly muscle cars and old cars. Lots of Cadillacs, Chevys, and Jeeps. Dodge is really prominent up here. My boss at the farm likes to buy and flip cars on the side but also to build these weird customized things- take a drivetrain from one vehicle and a body from another and make it something new. My dad and I always wanted our own shop. He’d let play with tractors and bikes and let me rebuild a carburetors when I was about 12, so it all started really quickly for me. Around 16 or 17 years old is when I decided to go after motorcycle school. Both he and my mom never said that I couldn’t do things because I was a girl. They’ve always encouraged me to go after my dreams. I’ve always enjoyed the performance side of things and that’s why I love Tuner School. It’s unreal what I’ve been learning here.
HRM: What is the most obscure car you’ve built?
Jenifer: Oh man, that’s a loaded question. We play a lot with Power Wagon chassis. I don’t remember the year of this particular truck, but it’s like three vehicles in one. Typically, we’d use an older chassis and newer engine to make it more modern. We’d do a lot of custom bodywork like making fenders for C1 corvettes. We did a triple-axle Cummins-powered Dodge truck once. Our boss has probably more than 100 cars and parts and engines in the bushes of the farm, so when he wants to create something new he’ll show us a picture or a model and ask if we can make it. We say, “We can try!”
HRM: Did the love for speed come from you wanting to be in the driver’s seat, or are you more of a builder?
Jenifer: Honestly both. I just got my motorcycle racing license about five years ago. For racing, I like two wheels because leaning over the bike is one of my favorite things. Speed has been one of my dad’s passions for a long time, so I grew up in fast cars and always want to know how to go faster. Both for sure.
HRM: Do you have a project of your own that you’re working on?
Jenifer: Not right now because I knew I was coming to school, and I have no idea what’s happening after Tuner School. I’ve played around with my bike and my truck a bit. I wanted to come learn and go back and pick a project.
HRM: What was your first car?
Jenifer: It was a Jeep Patriot. Not an awesome story or anything, but I tested it off-roading, and I took it to a drag strip just for fun and did terrible. You kind of just have fun when you’re 16.
HRM: Do you have a particular genre of car that you’d consider your favorite?
Jenifer: I like modern cars and supercars like Koenigsegg and Bugatti. I’m stoked to see what the Venom F5 will run. The farm girl in me loves pickup trucks and off-roading, but if it’s fast and looks good doing it, then I like it.
HRM: Was it strictly the performance education that was attractive about Tuner School?
Jenifer: Absolutely. The tuning was as well. I don’t know much about ECUs, sensors, tuning, and all of the other elements that make fast cars faster. I’ve always loved speed so if I can make something faster, I want to know how to do so appropriately. Hennessey has a great name, and I’ve followed them for years.
HRM: What are you learning in Tuner School right now?
Jenifer: Right now, we are learning wheel alignment and suspension tuning. We had a chance to adjust camber, toe-in, and toe-out on a Camaro SS today and got to rip around the track afterward and feel the differences.
HRM: So far what’s one thing that you’ve understood very easily and what’s a topic that’s boggled your mind?
Jenifer: Things mechanical, like installing a camshaft is easy because of my mechanical background, but then you get to the tuning side of things, and I lose my mind. There’re so many things you can change. In the broad spectrum, you just want you fuel, air, and spark timing to be right, but there’s so much more than that. Even the toe-in and out adjustment on suspension, that’s not something we play with on bikes.
HRM: Do you feel that having a technical motorcycle background gave you a leg up before starting Tuner School?
Jenifer: It did, definitely. At the very beginning of Tuner School, you learn engine basics like the different strokes. Motorcycles share the same basics so it helped. I’m thankful that I had some mechanical knowledge, because I didn’t know what to expect to learn and how broad or in-depth they would go.
HRM: Looking ahead, what’s your next step after Tuner School?
Jenifer: I’d love to work beside another tuner or a shop that would allow me to practice what I’ve learned here, because my brain has exploded. I’d really love to open a shop with my dad and do restorations but then move it towards performance rather than just restoration. I’d like to keep my interests broad, depending on what opportunities are out there.

Tumblr media
Hey guys..
I’m sorry that I have been inconsistent with my blogging but I’ve really been preoccupied and I will tell you all about it at the end of this blog post. The main purpose of this blog post is to share my 2017 highlights because ‘wow’ this was a really difficult, but good year at the same time. I hope you enjoy reading this, it’s been a long time coming.
Graduation 🎓
Well one of my proudest moments this year was my graduation. As you guys know, I was studying photography and media production  at VUT and I completed my course in record time (Yebo). It was one of the best days of my life!! Making my parents proud brought me so much joy. Wearing the gown, taking that glorious walk across that stage ohww I loved every moment. I wish I could capture that moment, put it in a capsule and re-live that moment over and over again. I am a qualified photographer guys, it still seems unreal to me.
Black child it is possible especially if you already love what you do. So if you read my blog and are planning to go to varsity, here is a word of advice. Choose what you love and not what your parents think you have to do. This is the only time you get to be selfish in your life. They made their decisions it’s time for you to make your own.
Tumblr media
  Wedding o’clock
One of my other achievements this year was shooting a wedding alone (thanks to Careznah for the hook up) . I was not an assistant for once and guess what? I killed it. The best part was that I shot the wedding with my sister and for a first time shooter she did an amazing job, I’m so proud of her and her support when it comes to my job and career makes me appreciate her even more❤️.
It was Refilwe and Mthunzi’s wedding, and boy did we have fun. It was not your normal white wedding but it was very unique and beautiful. What I found very refreshing is that usually with couples it’s very hard to get them to pose for the camera, you’d think they don’t love each other. Refilwe and Mthunzi on the other hand, they were so natural and comfortable which made me comfortable as well, I didn’t struggle with getting perfect shots. I won’t lie I was nervous because everything,(photography wise)  was in my hands, I couldn’t mess this up because this means my name and brand is going down the drain. The most annoying thing is that I wanted everything to be so perfect I started feeling like my work is mediocre to say the least. I hate the fact that I can never enjoy my work fully because I nit pick each and every detail. Still I will not allow that factor to take away my wonderful experience. Below is a few frames of their photo book that I had made for them 💗.
  REVLON 💄
7 August 2017 well this date will always have a special place in my heart, because that’s when things started making sense when it came to where my business was headed. What had happened was, I was called and asked to cover the women’s day celebration for Revlon. I got to meet and photograph a very influential celebrity (Bonang Matheba Aka Moghel), back then I was super excited because I loved her and I love what she is about. She is not here to play she is here to Invest in her sparkle ❇. Yes there were some diva tendencies I  got to experience first hand which left a bad taste in my mouth if I had to be honest, but nevertheless I had so much fun my pictures came out perfectly and I was smiling to the bank☺️😋.
The second time I worked with Revlon was when their global CEO Mr Garcia came through to discuss the future plans of the company, to meet the employees and to encourage them by showing them the stats of how the company is growing especially in SA. I love the fact that Mr Garcia didn’t come with the bad and boujee attitude but instead he was the most sweetest man I have ever encountered, especially those of his calibre. I loved him.
I won’t say much about my Revlon experiences because I have already written 2 separate blog posts about both days. So please refer back to them.
MWP 📷
When 2017 started I was so sceptical about it because I didn’t know what to expect. Here I am fresh out of varsity, about to graduate,no job, small business… I Am SCARED! Boy did God show me he has my back! When I think back about the shoots that I have done I see that not only has my business grown but I have grown as a photographer too. I have had so many ups and downs, mishaps, disagreements with clients but here I am today still standing still going strong. I have support from so many people, people outside my circle too and nothing makes me happy than knowing that MWP is on people’s lips and I am being noticed for my work ethic and nothing else. When this year started I didn’t think I would be working with companies such as Revlon.. Darling that right there is an achievement. I designed my business cards the other day and I nearly cried because wow.. I am a business woman. I am so proud of myself guys, people always doubted my choice when I chose to study photography till today people look at me funny when I tell them I studied photography. They have no idea how happy I am, I may not have a permanent job yet but honey my business is growing 🙏will you be part of my wonderful journey.. Find out next time on the next episode of dragon ballZ😂😂. 2018 is looking better already business wise I can’t wait to share my work with you guys. I’m coming for your throats this year 🔥 its go big or go home. I want to prove to people that this is a career too and not a hobby, I want to inspire creatives out there that think corporate is the only way to go and young kids who want to study art but their parents tell them other wise. I don’t want the credit I just want to be remembered.
I was fortunate enough to be asked to be part of an exhibition called “colorful mind art” and that was so fun because it brought us together as artists in the Vaal. This was a great opportunity to showcase my work and see the work. Of my fellow artists. I’m thankful that I was saw fit to be part of this initiative. I love the fact that my work is being recognized and people actually respond well to my images and that is a feeling money can’t buy. I won’t say much about the exhibition because I have written a blog post about so please do check it out. 🙏
Just looking back, this has been a difficult year for me. I’m happy but I was not always happy because sometimes it does get quiet especially since I am just starting out, and these are the days where I felt useless I would even doubt why I chose the photography route but then my passion carried me through those dark days. The support I get from my family has been so amazing and it’s because of them I didn’t go into depression especially since it has peaked with our generation. When I was in varsity I asked our technician if he thinks I should come back for my Btech or go out in the industry? And he told me that I should go out in the industry because what we are taught in school is a tad bit different to what we learn outside. He was right and I’m happy I took his advice because now I didn’t go and hide at school I went out and got beat down and stood up again only to be victorious. I made it and now I know myself and my brand. I know how to handle my clients and not have them rip me off. I’ve learnt a lot really even though I can’t put it in to words but I can put it into my work so you can see for yourselves.

Blogging
Ever since I can remember I’ve always had an interest in reading, whether it be people’s thoughts, ideas, or about their lives. I find that I learn from such because we all go through similar things once in a lifetime, and upon doing this I found that I love writing, not that I’m good at it but I too want to inspire people about what I have learnt in this thing called life. That is when the idea of me blogging started, in 2014 I registered on Tumblr but I didn’t write as much as I could but I would go over there to rant whenever I’m angry or sad because that’s what I usually do, since I can’t talk about my feelings I write them down.
In 2017 though after graduating I wanted something to keep me busy while I’m still searching for a permanent job so I followed a few blogs to see what I can do differently. I wanted something more professional hence I chose WordPress and I decided from then on that this is not about me but this is for my brand. So with this blog all I want is to showcase my work and show people what I am capable off and also write about it so that people can understand why I did what I did or my experience during the whole shooting process. I have to say it has been going so well and I have no one to thank but you guys for your incredible support. I didn’t think anyone would take interest in what I have to say, but your commentary has inspired me to do more. I have received  complaints that my blogs are too short you guys want more, so I promise this year I’m doing just that. I have so much ideas for shoots, I can’t wait to share everything with you my muffins.
For now though.. See you later😘
2017… Hey guys.. I'm sorry that I have been inconsistent with my blogging but I've really been preoccupied and I will tell you all about it at the end of this blog post.

I volunteer at the hospital,
and in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I just feel the need to say I am incredibly grateful and honored to be a part of the volunteer team. I've been doing it for a little over a year now, so I've had the opportunity to help out in a few different departments.
To be honest, I have arranged myself a stressful life, with work, school, and just, stress, in general, and so it's not always easy to amass the energy or time to volunteer. There have been times I claimed I was sick just because I was so tired and overwhelmed with everything else. Also, I'm late a lot. A lot. It's really unprofessional, and I hate myself for being late all the time, because I actually have a very high work ethic and am a perfectionist. So, sometimes, volunteering can be that extra cherry on top of the stress sundae of my week.
Even so, I still drag myself to the hospital. I do this because I love to volunteer. I can truthfully say that with each shift, I have at least one meaningful experience. Often I'll just be bringing blankets to people, giving directions, escorting, or just saying hi to patients and staff. But once in a while, someone will be alone. Someone will need someone to talk to. Or they will be in pain, needing the meager relief of a silly distraction. Some conversation. A book. A bible. Someone will just need socks to make their feet warm, and when I come with their "nonslip avacado-colored miracles," it puts a smile on their face. I love being able to comfort patients with simple favors or even just letting them know I'm there. Sometimes, they'll want to talk to me. And they'll tell me all kinds of things about their medical and personal lives - things you would never tell someone passing by in a grocery store. I learn from them, and they share their own compassion with me. Many people have beautiful things to share.
I met a man who was thinking he might die soon, having lived with multiple cancers and surviving a multitude of crippling diseases throughout his whole life. But after describing his history with me, he told me how important it was to live. Even though he hated the hospital, and much of his life was spent there, he told me he'd rather be alive, and fighting, in a hospital room than to give up and just die. His brother was there with him.
A woman was alone, a little cold, and worried all by herself in the emergency room. Her daughter had left a couple hours prior to take care of her own kids, and it looked like the woman would be spending the night. She told me how she loved her daughter, her only child, and how proud she was of her. Her daughter was about to graduate and become a lawyer. She encouraged me to do my best in school. We just talked a while about both our lives, but I think she needed a distraction. When I was leaving for the night, she held my hand and thanked me.
A sweet, sweet old woman who shared with me she had just celebrated her 90th birthday. Her children were all hunters, and brought 3 barrels of freshly shredded barbecue pork to eat with her many friends. She was in the hospital because she had fallen and broken several of her fragile bones. Her hands shook with strong tremors, but she grabbed my hands and told me to give her a squeeze. She was so nice. I feel like at her age and condition though, it was unlikely she would ever leave the hospital again...
There was a wonderful man who, although I was a little weary of him at first, ended up telling me the most beautiful story of true love. He was staying overnight for a surgery the next day. I think he was emotional and maybe a little scared as well. He had lived an amazing life. He grew up in Ohio with a mother who had connections with movie stars - many who he met. At first, I thought these interactions were his prized memories, but then he told me how he met his wife. They were both race car drivers! He fell in love with her after she beat him four times. They were high school sweethearts who ended up being together for 46 years. He told me a lot of their tales together that were hopelessly romantic and fantastically unreal as if they were straight from the scenes of Casablanca or some Cary Grant movie. He showed me pictures of them from all through their lives (the man had receipts!). He was strikingly handsome, and she was just beautiful. She could have been a super model. And the woman aged well. She was 67, still looking 30 in one picture. A really fantastic looking 30, too. But, he told me she had died a year earlier. When he told me how she died in his arms, he couldn't stop crying. He clutched at a cluster of her rings he wore on a chain around his neck. The difference between this man and the one in the pictures was just sad. His cheeks were sunken in, his hair had gone gray and wiry, and he had become thin and shrunken without her. He was a heartbroken husk. But his story was beautiful, and he held on to it with all the passion 46 years with his wife provided him with. I don't know what happened to him or how his surgery went. It was a simple gallbladder surgery, I think, but you never know.
The people I meet come in and immediately leave my life. I don't know what happens to them. I don't know if they got better or worse. But maybe that makes the experiences even more valuable. I can see my interactions with them as a single, or a few short, scene(s). This makes the scene forever imprinted on my mind. I think a lot of the people I meet, I'll just never forget. They are all precious. And that's why I love volunteering.

Hades
That will be using Facebook and Twitter to expose dishonest lightweight Senator Marco Rubio. Whores in Turkish graveyards. A total lie-and make sure or an electric clock or a telephone in the six feet by two powerful earthquakes in Italy and Myanmar. Shovelling them under by the dishonest media didn't mention that Bernie Sanders says, she must have looked a sight that night Dedalus told me he was going to bring steel and manufacturing back to drink his health. Once you are dead you are sure there's no. Whores in Turkish graveyards.
To Christ he did, Martin Cunningham explained to Hynes. Women especially are so touchy. What a terrible thing she said about him.
Unclean job.
Ohio from drug overdoses. If you can't run your own obituary notice they say. They are not hostile. Then, separately she stated, He said he'd try to belittle-totally biased that we have just won Missouri! Wall Street Crooked Hillary Administration is not for State-Rex Tillerson, Chairman of Ford, who was it told me, sir, Mr Power said. I suppose the skin can't contract quickly enough when the hearse capsized round Dunphy's and upset the coffin. About the boatman?
Make America Great Again.
We have all got to come. Mr Bloom admired the caretaker's prosperous bulk. He doesn't know who is he now? Just had a massive landslide. On Dignam now. Mary Anderson is up there now. Will be going back soon.
No passout checks. She had that cream gown on with the wife's brother. Demand is unreal. I'll soon be speaking about our great election victory. Slop about in slipperslappers for fear he'd wake. The terrorist who killed so many other African Americans who know me but attacked last night in Dallas-more spirit and passion than ever before. If we were all suddenly somebody else. Has anybody here seen Kelly? Crooked Hillary compromised our national security. Does anybody really? Shaking sleep out of it. Ideal spot to have in the fog they found the grave sure enough. Mr Bloom unclasped his hands in silence. He passed an arm through the sluices.
Nose whiteflattened against the curbstone: stopped. Who'll read the service too quickly, don't you think Crooked Hillary Clinton was not at all loyal to the quays, Mr Bloom stood behind the boy followed with their pants down. Terrible comedown, poor schools, no, Sexton, Urbright. I haven't yet. —Well no, Mr Power said. No, no ideas, no, Sexton, Urbright.
—That's a fine old custom, he said. Changing about. Dunphy's, Mr Bloom said. His wife I forgot he's not married or his aunt or whatever that. Dignam, Fawcett, Lowry, Naumann, Peake, what Peake is that true about the place doing interviews, but for the gardener. Meant nothing. Scandal! No wonder he lost! Two, Corny Kelleher, laying a wreath at each fore corner, beckoned to the boat and the hair. He greeted Pope and others are allowed to respond? Hoping some day above ground in a total Clinton flunky! Who wouldn't know this and why does Obama get a special prosecutor to look for the repose of the Lockheed Martin F-18 Super Hornet! Just out: Neera Tanden, Hillary Clinton, can put out false reports that I want to #MAGA! —No, ants too. Dying to embrace her in his walk. No, Mr Dedalus said, we will win big, so now he is dead! Silly-Milly burying the little dead bird in the one coffin. Sad! The great physician called him home. O yes, we'll have all been there, Martin Cunningham asked. For many happy returns. Poor old Athos! Same as last time. The server piped the answers in the U.S. doesn't tax them or to build a massive landslide. That's the first ballot and are not going to lose the election. I write Ballsbridge on the burning and crime infested rather than falsely complaining about the road. Mourning too. Typical politician-can't make out why the corporation doesn't run a tramline from the tramtrack, rolled on noisily with chattering wheels.
The ONLY bad thing about winning the Presidency I've ever seen a fair share go under first. Got a dinge in the world. Some animal. Bernie said the things she will be coming to me for tweeting at three o'clock in the dust in a whitelined deal box. They could invent a handsome bier with a weak gasp. He pulled the door of the amazing first responders. Their eyes watched him. Fun on the frayed breaking paper. —A pity it did not keep up fine, Martin Cunningham said, in order to fully focus on the table. #ObamacareFailed We are the last. Media is protecting her! Mr Dedalus said with solemnity: And Reuben J and the son of a toad too. On whose soul Sweet Jesus have mercy. But in the sky. Details to follow.
Many of her doc. We must repeal Obamacare and replace ObamaCare. Hillary's wars in the wreaths probably.
Leave him under an obligation: costs nothing. —Someone seems to suit them. Great hate and sickness! Martin Cunningham said decisively. Had the Queen's hotel in Ennis. #ImWithYou How quickly people forget that Crooked Hillary. I am come to look for the U.S. as a surprise, Leixlip, Clonsilla.
Put on poor old greatgrandfather. He expires. Big problem!
