Halsin and Jyothikaâs reunion was pretty funny honestly
Jyothika did not expect to run into her ex; yeah she heard the archdruidâs name was Halsin but what were the chances it was the Halsin she dated?
You know, the very same Halsin she once vowed to âhunt down and make his life hellâ because he broke her heart by running away because she was trying to pressure him into marrying her. And he didnât have enough maturity and experience yet to tell her he didnât want that (also her parents terrified him and he didnât want to deal with that)
(Keep in mind Halsin was a young 79 year old elf when he âran awayâ so he had yet to grow into the mature and considerate man he is now )
Halsin meanwhile did not recognize Jyothika when they met again because she looks so diff from the âspoiled pampered princessâ image she had going for her when they were dating. Her vibe is also completely changed, itâs less arrogant and less confident, and more motherly and stern (sheâs always been kind and caring though, itâs why he dated her in the first place)
So when they meet again, Halsin is very thrown off (and just a tad fearful) to be running into Jyothika again
Meanwhile Jyothika is indeed pissed off to see Halsin again but she also had a goblin camp to destroy? So priorities had to come before confronting the exâŠ
âŠwho then pisses her off again by being a mature, kind, and considerate man who apologizes for being so cowardly back then lol. Because of course he had to turn into a decent man who couldnât give her five justified minutes of being mad at him lol
Anyways she agrees to help Halsin out, there is definitely sexual tension between them ( perhaps even more now than before, now that Jyothika has turned into more of a nature loving wanderer who prefers the beauty of the outdoors than being in a city. Also she likes talking to animals so thereâs that too) but Jyothika is also very interested in/falling in love with Bhavan by the time Halsin returns
Also she is pretty monogamous and Halsin isnât, so thereâs that too. And they both respect that about each other
That being said, Halsin does become a permanent fixture in Bhavan and Jyothikaâs lives, one that they visit regularly until death (which honestly, Bhavan and Jyothika both have drow life spans by the end of bg3 soooo toss up who goes first between the three of them)

Shaitaan (2024): A Nightmarish Encounter
Shaitan (2024) is based on an original story. The film revolves around a family whose daughter falls under the influence of black magic performed by a stranger, and they work to prevent trouble and figure out the stranger's motivation.
Plot Summary:
Kabir Rishi, a chartered accountant, and his wife Jyoti reside in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, with their children, Janhvi and Dhruv. Seeking a break from their routine, they embark on a vacation to their farmhouse in a remote hill station. There, they encounter an enigmatic stranger named Vanraj Kashyap.
Vanraj offers Janhvi a laddu in exchange for her paratha. Little do they know that this seemingly innocent exchange will set off a chain of eerie events. After consuming the laddu, Janhvi becomes eerily obedient to Vanraj's every command, like a puppet on strings.
As the family enjoys their time by the farmhouse pool, Vanraj's presence unsettles them. Jyoti, curious yet wary, finds Vanraj standing at the farmhouse door. He claims his phone's battery is dead, but his intentions remain shrouded in mystery.
Vanraj's interactions with Janhvi escalate. He talks about her boyfriend and college, all while disturbingly manipulating her behavior. When Dhruv enters the picture, Vanraj instructs Janhvi to threaten him on the swing, causing fear and confusion.
The family soon realizes that Vanraj possesses dark powers, and Janhvi is under his spell. As they grapple with this supernatural menace, they uncover Vanraj's motives and embark on a mission to stop the possession. Their battle against good and evil unfolds against the backdrop of the picturesque hill station
Cast:
- Ajay Devgn as Kabir Rishi
- R. Madhavan as Vanraj Kashyap
- Jyothika as Jyoti Rishi
- Angad Raaj as Dhruv Rishi
- Janki Bodiwala as Jahnvi Rishi (reprising her role from the original Gujarati film)
In this battle between light and darkness, the Rishi family confronts malevolence, black magic, and Vanraj's insidious designs. "Shaitaan" weaves a chilling narrative that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats, questioning the boundaries between reality and the supernatural.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS COMPLETELY MY OPINION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING FEATURES.  I feel the need to say this again because last time too i got a message but x,y,z film has x,y,z issues . I've said it before and i will say it again  It is all a mixed Bag, Mixed Genres, Mixed reasons to suggest them right from the quality to acting to cinematography to story to critical acclaim to some just for PURE ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES.  I makes these lists because I feel these features deserve love and appreciation and because some made me feel Proud and some just for pure entertainment factor .Â
Iâve Added the Info with the title about where you can watch (save myself a bit of time by not hyperlinking them This time since most of them are on prime and Netflix- pretty Straightforward right) +all features listed have subs
Asuran | Dhanush,Manju Warrier| Tamil [Prime] : A Must Watch- Fair warning not for the weak Hearted, Has some Very Graphic scenes Dark and Gripping Saga about 2 families at war with each other. Vetrimaran has so smartly Merged the sociopolitical issues in the otherwise revenge story.Easily one of Dhanushâs Best Performances if not his finest yet(it is imo and i urge you all to see this to see how Lower classes are treated. It was the best Film of year 2019 Hands down for me. this one Gave me sleepless nights ,shook me like anything and i still shiver when i think of some of the things that have happened here. IF you want to see a BLOODY GOOD MOVIE watch this one.Manju is equally Fabulous as the grief stricken mother trying to keep her other family members safe.
Thambi|Jyothika, karthi|Tamil[Netflix] :From the Director of Drishyam(the original) An edge of seat thriller about a lost brother and her sisterâs quest of finding him with humor and family drama included. After Drishyam another Fab family Thriller, Karthi has done a superb job and has shouldered the film well. i wish there was more Karthi and Jyothika Bonding though, Jyo is Good as always too but this one belongs to karthiÂ
Helan | AnnaBen,Lal| Malayalam[prime}: A very Well done Survival Drama about a girl stuck in a freezer at work place, Major Shoutout to the cinematography and ofcourse anna whoâs so vulnerable int he situation yet has this fierceness in her act.
AlaVaikunthapuramloo|Allu Arjun,Tabu,Pooja Hegde| Telugu [netflix] Now this is what you call a complete family entertainer. After ages an allu arjun film which is so enjoyable and entertaining and has an interesting story too. Itâs basically about a poor PA switching his child with the Bossâs child and what happens next.My only complaint is why donât we have more of tabu and Bunny together. full on paisa vasool movie.Heard Karthik aryan is doing remake. plzz are you kidding me with this[so offended]
Sillu Karupatti|tamil| *sara arjun and a bunch of new People lol[Netflix]Â Ahhh every story in this compilation of short stories is so real and So Beautiful. This one makes you beleive in Actual Love. Watch it esp for PinkBag(the first story and the 2nd one i forgot the name of)
Varane Avashyamund|Dulquer salmaan, shobana, kalyani priyadarshan|Malayalam[Netflix] This is the one that makes you miss home..leaves you smiling and you donât realize when youâve started feeling like you are part of the same apartment complex. again why so little of DQ and shobhana though?:( but yeah if you want to watch a feel Good film watch this one
Kaithi|Karthi|tamil {hotstar} Kaithi is a tense, impressively shot action thriller It;âs about A prisoner on parole, whoâs on his way to meet his daughter, is enlisted by an injured police officer to protect a few cops. With the entire lot of gangsters in the place after them, can the prisoner save the day? Watch it for some Awesome Action sequences and For Karthi in probably his career best performance. Watch it before bollywood ruins it . i heard they are casting some shit actor for it. so yeah you probably wanna watch it with karthik. i was moved by the father daughterâs bond even though they were strangers to each other
Uyare|parvathy, tovino thomas,Asif Ali|malayalam[netflix]: a poignant tale of courage and survival. Parvathy is On some other High as pallavi. itâs about an Acid Victimâs determination to be what she wanted to be to find her place in society. Brave Act and a Freaking awesome Movie
Virus|parvathy, tovino thomas, soubin, rima Kallingal|malayalam[prime] This one is quiet relevant in the times of Pandemic too. A film full of compassion about containing a virus before it ruins too much based the nippah virus outbreak in kerala recently. Also what An ensemble, Props to asshiq for managing to get that cast on board and then making a brilliant film.
Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal|dulquer salmaan,Ritu Varma|rakshan|tamil[netflix] Two cons fall in love and decide to mend his way and settle down with their girlfriends. But a couple of curve balls, one in the form of a determined cop, are just waiting in store. It works for itâs Twists I Mean Who expected someof those twists and Turns?? Watch it for itâs unapologetic nature and Dulquerâs Performance.
Chhapaak|deepika padukone, vikrant massey|Hindi [hotstar] Hah! another Acid Victim survival Film. Yup But this one is Not entirely Fictional. This one is Based on a real victim. Equally Compelling and Amazing. Deepika is simply At her best as malti.Â
Thappad[tapsee, pavail gulati, ratna pathak shah|hindi[prime] A Must Must Must Watch. If I want you guys to watch anything on this list for sure it is This and asuran. This one is What you call a film on true feminism Which speaks about Domestic abuse but thatâs not it it has underlying themes of Sexism, unequality . i have raved so much about it. it is SUch a strong take Shown in a rather tender way minus any big lectures yet itâs hardhitting and soul stirring. WATCH IT LADIESÂ
Oh my Kaduvale|Vijay Sethupathy, ashok selvan, ritika singh|tamil[einthusan] itâs a Romatic Fantasy FIlm and again what a twist that was barely have seen a desi fantasy film handled & presented  this well and being his enjoyable. Sweet, simple and feel good. watch for the super fun cameo by Sethupathy hehe
Kombalungi Nights|fahadh faasil, shane nigam, anna ben, soubin saher|Malayalam[prime]Â The film revolves around four brothers who share a love-hate relationship with each other. Their relationship progresses to another level when Saji, Boney, and Franky decide to help Bobby stand by his love. I didnât wanted this one to be over. Experience it i wonât say much caz whatever i say wonât be enough so iâd rather not waste yours or my time hehe.Â
Donât forget to tag me or share with me what you think of them if you end up watching. my askbox is always openâ iâd love to hear your thoughts

Photo Diary: Top photos of Manju Warrier that prove she is still the doyenne of Malayalam cinema
Actress Manju Warrier made her first appearance in 1995 in the film Sakshyam which had Murali, Gopi Suresh and Gauthami in the lead roles. The film was smashing hit and Manju became an exalted personality in Malayalam cinema. Soon she started getting many offers which she embraced with open arms. Her next few films were with big-ticket actors like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Jayaram and Suresh Gopi.
Recommended read:Â Dileep on his divorce with Manju Warrier: In the name of God, I must say Kavya Madhavan had no role in it
Manju Warrier is a trained dancer and is a well-known name in dance groups. Manju has been performing on stage since her childhood days. She was conferred as Kalathilakam in Kerala Youth festival more than once. The dancer/actress performs on stage even today besides acting.
Manju Warrier got married to actor Dileep in 1998. The couple has a daughter named Meenakshi. Dileep and Manju called it quits in 2014 after being together for 14 years. Manju had quit acting after she got married and was away from the arc lights for more than 15 years.
Manju made a comeback in films in 2014 with How Old Are you which also featured Kunchako Boban, Kanika, Lalu Alex and Amritha Anil in key roles. How Old Are You was later remade in Tamil as  36 Vayadhinile which, coincidentally, is Jyothikaâs comeback Tamil film too. Since then, Manju has acted in more than 10 films and has a handful of movies that she is working on.
Manju is quite popular on social media as well and keeps in constant touch with her fans. Her photos are adorable and keep her on top. Manju sets an example for many that age is not a drawback to actresses and proves that it is just a myth in South Indian films.
We present to you top photos of Manju Warrier which prove that she is still the queen of Malayalam cinema:

Beauty to Impress Men is Slavery
Oh, how sweet⊠Challenging women if they can step out without powder on the face like men...
You create a whole bunch of beauty standards for women â must be fair, must be slim, must have dewy skin, must not have body hair, must not have cellulite, must not have stretch marks, etc.
Then you ask if women can go out without powder on their face like guys after creating this extreme insecurity, a billion dollar profiteering market for the insecurity and of course the unbridled right of you to ridicule women who donât fall within your beauty preferences.
I still remember you fuckers telling Sherin to wear makeup/put powder when a photo where she looks dark surfaced. Priya Prakash Warrier was trolled massively for sporting a makeup/powder-free face in which her brown pimple marks were visible.
Mention Sai Pallavi or Rashmika Mandanna as ânatural beauties,â and I will ask ottha ngoppa. The only reason both are considered beautiful without powder and makeup are: 1. They are fair as fuck.
2. SPâs pimple marks are pink.
Even SP expressed insecurity about her makeup-free look.
Who is Fair & Lovely (now Glow & Lovely â same shit, different name)âs biggest target?
Why did they put black powder on Anggavai and Sanggavai?
Why Gabriella Karuppazhagi unable to get a heroine role? Which Miss India/Miss Malaysia was ever dark-skinned? Do beauty pageants accommodate all body shapes? Why you make fun of Tamanna for having small breasts? What, you expect all women to be Aphrodite so that you wonât show your assholery at our appearances?
Fuck all these manmade, male voyeurism centric beauty standards.
By saying women are beautiful, men enslave women. By focusing so much on beauty = marriageable criteria, spending time and money on beautifying themselves, women lose the focus on being independent, knowledgeable, smart, and bringing gender equality.
This is what patriarchy and men want â for women to focus on beauty and their fairytale wedding and not being free and aware about what will benefit us in the long run â like wear what is comfortable and spend time developing ourselves e.g. take online courses, play sports, invest, travel, work overtime, work for that promotion, lead projects, devise future plans like buying a house, doing PHD, etc.
No, you donât like this type of women coz they are headstrong and know exactly what they want â you canât enslave them. You only want beautiful women who focus all their time and energy on beauty maintenance. Then you complain about these high-maintenance women â well, you wanted a beautiful wife/gf, not an independent and prudent one so, suffer your fate man. Your fault. If sheâs a gold digger, swiping your credit card to buy Loreal White Perfect, itâs your fault. It was you and your fucking mother who wanted a girl who is Segeppi like Samantha and Jooru like Jyothika. YOUR FAULT.
You want a white beautiful doll to flaunt, she wants an idiot who is rich and will lavish her with luxury. This is also a reason why many rich Malaysian Indian guys date Chinese girls and then complain after a breakup what a fake, gold-digger with a used-up hole and a bitch she was and then look for another fair-skinned girl to date. So, as men, realise how beauty standards you slap on women fuck you in the ass now. Guys (rich or financially unstable) only want conventionally beautiful women. Of course, an entrepreneur would like a woman like Pranitha to marry. Youâre angry coz beautiful women wonât choose you coz youâre not loaded. You have become the victims of your own patriarchal system.
If women leverage these beauty standards and become hustlers online â influencers and myonlyfans, these guys canât take it too. They slut-shame these women and say that it doesnât take any effort to do this type of work and call women fake and thatâs why men should take their dates swimming.
Then, you canât tolerate women above 30 looking young and fit. Trisha is aunty for men her age. Lol, why this insecure â ageing is a natural process. If you have a receding hairline, look at Vin Diesel and the Rock. If you have a potbelly, hit the gym. Watch what you eat. Minimize drinking beer. Calling Trisha aunty wonât make your body morph like Vijayâs body. Work out like her and stick to a healthy diet plan and you can have Vijayâs body.
Yes, focus on health and fitness rather than beauty. Womenâs beauty is associated with a tenderness that will kill any fighting spirit within. Samunthrika lakshanam can go to hell. Instead of beautifying and keen on wearing jewellery and gold, do what develops you as an individual. Itâs perfectly fine if you dress to the nines and wear makeup for self-gratification. I upkeep a layer cut for my hair and my mom used to ask for who you are keeping the shape? For myself. I want to enjoy looking at my shapely hair. I wear coloured lip balm under my mask. I am not doing it for any man; I do it for me. Itâs lockdown but I still keep my body fit and eat fresh, organic, home-cooked food, banana trunk core, banana flower, young jackfruit, kalamansi, ponnangani keerai, sorrel, and soursop, all grown in the community garden. For whom? For my health. Not for the male gaze.
You see, a woman fixated on beauty will buy gold jewellery if she has RM 1,000 at hand and wear it and think of it as an umbrella for rainy days. Then she'll pester her husband/bf for designer clothes and totes, jewellery, and beauty products. A financially smart woman will put the RM 1,000 in her bank account. Save more and when it reaches 10 to 20K, put in FD. The latter scares the shit outta mairandis coz they canât call such women gold diggers and she doesnât need no man to pay for her expenses.
So, before challenging women if they can go out without powder on the face like men, reflect on how men shame women whom they think are lazy cos they donât give importance to beauty. And if a woman wears makeup and as a result looks beautiful, you call her fake. Women will be as they are and focus on self-development rather than beauty if you STFU about their appearance.
First, you stop your hypocritical shit. Then, I will cease from fucking your ass with 2 dildos at once in the form of an essay.

Looking at Jyothika and her current relationship with Selune
So Selune is straight up ashamed that Jyothika exists. Jyothika was created during a moment of pure rage and wrath, that Selune willingly gave into, against Shar. She created Jyothika to kill Sharrans, specifically dark justicars, to wipe out Shar cults and to spread âthe glory of her nameâ
Jyothikaâs father was part of a sect of Selune worship that believes wiping out all Sharrans is the greatest gift to give to the moon goddess. That a dead Sharran is a good way to worship Selune. It was seen as controversial by other Selune worshippers in the area who fully believed what they were doing wasnât any better than the way Sharrans treated others
Her father got the honour of meeting and having a child with Selune after completing an impossible task that allowed him to temporarily enter her realm. They spent a night together and when Jyothika was born Selune gave her to her father to be raised
But as Jyothika grew up and fully embraced her purpose (Jyothika, like her father, originally enjoyed getting to fight and wipe out Sharrans), Selune realized that making Jyothika to purposefully inflict violence on others made her no better than Shar. And then when Jyothika got kidnapped and given to Shar, trapped/tortured in Sharâs realm for 200 years and was only allowed to leave when she allowed Shar to curse her, Selune realized how terrible her decision was to essentially create a âweaponâ that could be forced to turn on others
Iâm still figuring this out, but I think Selune, after Jyothika gets cursed, intervenes so that Jyothika will only âlose control and turn into a monster that kills indiscriminatelyâ if she tries to use her moonbeast form/powers. Meaning Jyothika can never use her demigod powers again
I think this was also the last time Jyothika heard Selune speaking to her, right after she left Sharâs realm. And the cryptic way Selune spoke has convinced Jyothika that Selune no longer wants to associate with Jyothika because she allowed herself to be cursed
Itâs more complicated than that. But itâs shame that stops the goddess from speaking with Jyothika again, until Jyothika finds a way to force an audience with Selune
I think this also made Jyothika a bit antagonistic/jealous towards Shadowheart who is being fought over by two goddesses. It also makes Jyothika, considering the torture she went through for 200 years, more snappy/sensitive about Shadowheartâs insults about Selune and her praise of Shar

The Goldfinch, Thappad Out In May On Amazon Prime: Check
The Goldfinch, Thappad Out In May On Amazon Prime: Check Everything
Thappad's Taapsee Pannu is regional, but only India is named the Goldfinch.
Amazon Prime Video has declared discharge dates for two up and coming movies in the Taapsee Pannu-starrer social show Thappad, and the Ansel Elgort-drove book adjustment The Goldfinch. Thappad will discharge Friday, May 1 on Amazon's gushing help all-inclusive, with The Goldfinch seven days after the fact on Friday, May 8 just in India. While Thappad shows up only two over months since its showy discharge, The Goldfinch â through Amazon's arrangement with Warner Bros. Pictures India â has assumed control more than seven months to show up on spilling. You'll require an Amazon Prime membership â Rs. 129 every month, or Rs. 999 every year â to watch the movies, just like the case for all motion pictures on the stage.
Article 15 and Mulk author executive Anubhav Sinha is in charge of Thappad, about a spouse (Pannu) whose immaculate life winds up in pieces after her significant other (Pavail Gulati), slaps her at a gathering. Thappad "rethinks and questions sexual orientation elements inside a marriage and society's acknowledgment of the well-established conviction: 'Shaadi Mein sab Kuch chalta hain [everything goes in a marriage]'." The film was applauded for its social message and exhibitions, however, it was condemned for its pace and utilization of tropes. Notwithstanding Pannu and Gulati, Thappad likewise stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi, Manav Kaul, and Ram Kapoor among others.
"I was certain I needed to be a piece of this film," Pannu said in a sent proclamation. "It is a respect to have worked with Anubhav sir on this undertaking where he moved toward a delicate theme in the most significant manner conceivable. I have been a dissident naturally since youth, and, that reflects in my selection of movies. The most recent a half year have been exceptionally fascinating for me. From doing stand-up satire on Amazon's unique arrangement One Mic Stand to this unfathomably nuanced job in Thappad, I have had the chance to truly extend my scope of work. I am excited that watchers would now be able to watch Thappad on Amazon Prime Video."
The Goldfinch is the adjustment of Donna Tartt's 2013 book of a similar name, about a youngster (Elgort) who clutches the eponymous work of art from the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MoMA) as expected and in memory, after his mom is slaughtered in a fear monger besieging at the New York City historical center. Finn Wolfhard, Sarah Paulson, Luke Wilson, Jeffrey Wright, and Nicole Kidman structure the capable supporting cast. The Goldfinch was panned by pundits and wound up as a film industry catastrophe, with evaluated misfortunes around $50 million (about Rs. 381 crores).
These follow the Joaquin Phoenix-drove Joker, the Vicky Kaushal-starrer repulsiveness spine-chiller Bhoot â Part One: The Haunted Ship and Greta Gerwig's ritzy period show Little Women, all discharged in the previous week on Prime Video. While every one of these movies had a dramatic discharge â shortened on account of Thappad â Amazon is purportedly in chats with the Jyothika-starrer Tamil-language court dramatization Ponmagal Vandhal to bring the movie legitimately to spilling, given auditoriums are closed across India because of the continuous coronavirus pandemic.
Thappad is out May 1 on Prime Video around the world. The Goldfinch is out May 8 on Prime Video in India. The two movies will be accessible with Hindi-and English-language sound, separately, as those were the main dramatic rendition of the film.
