I think I post Sorrel's backstory instead of sleeping

Sorrel was a part of an organization (imma gonna call it Human Supernatural Defense or HSD)that protects the human world from both angels and demons that threaten to harm the balance of things. Her duties normally include scouting out dangerous cults seeking to summon both vigilante angels or rabib demons from their respective worlds.

Sorrel also cleans up any magical residue leftover so it wont have any ill effects on the environment. She has also more than once found herself in comically horrific situations due to someone summoning a hellbeast who thought she look like a snack or some angel looking to smite her for her sins.

Druids aren't supposed to use their magic for violence but Sorrel has little issue with using some vines to keep things in line. She considers herself akin to evil witches in fairytales saying "I am the witch who lives out in the bog who would curse you for looking at her funny" and unfortunately that joke earned her the nickname of bog witch.

She wasn't really close to any of her teammates (She has teammates because you cant really send demons and angels home with hippy salad magic) they knew she was important to the team since she did a lot of humiliating and humorous things to distract otherworldly beings and having a druid exclusively work for you within the HSD was a huge deal.

Sorrel didnt get a lot of praise but it was honest work and it gave her plenty of time off to see her friend, a even shorter than her, girl with dull grey hair named Kurosu. Sorrel loved Kurosu more than anything. And not like that friend love... like she had a crush on her. The only problem was she didnt seem interested in anyone romantically. Sorrel hoped that by just being there she could maybe persuade her otherwise since if she would fall for anyone it would have to be her.

But then while she was out on a job...

She heard word that Kurosu was taken and was going to be used as a sacrifice.

Sorrel tore through the cult with such rage! Sharp bamboo shoots speared many of the cultists. vines ripped the others apart. Her team never seen her fight like that. She managed to get through and although Kurosu was injured it wasn't anything too serious.

But... Kurosu seemed a bit off since that night.

Of course this was the first time Kurosu heard about Sorrel's job. She knew she worked with magic but not to protect the human world. Of course she seems very interested in speaking with the Paladin of the group.

One night Kurosu asked her about him. She said that she loved him. That she wanted to confess.

Sorrel knows the Paladin is no match for her. He is stronger better looking and hell... he even gets fan mail. She cried after that visit.

The HSD soon got some invitations for RAD looking for students for their exchange program. The HSD board sat down and weighed their options about the exchange. They finally decided that the invitations are optional but if someone would go down there and bring back anything on the important matters of Devildom that the person would be humanity's hero.

Sorrel, still very heartbroken and very much not wanting to exist in the same realm as the man who stole her crushes heart was the first to volunteer. Actually she was the only one to volunteer... Mages typical dont join HSD because they wanna make peace with angels or demons.

And that is how she got here. Reminder Sorrel is not ment to be the MC. Also if your human is magically inclined they are more than welcome to join the Human Supernatural Defense.
