Sometimes there are OCs that are hard to write for in the sense that you absolutely can write things for them, only for nothing to feel right despite how easy the writing flows out of your brain.

Which is exactly where I am with Mikan,,,

I had to learn rudimentary Synchro-less Harpies for her because of early arc v LDS related reasons #her follow-up capabilities are terrible because of how Harpies work. unless I actively give her level modulation cards that she usually..#.. has no reason to use. Xyz Align is useful but only when a level 4 harpie is there at the same time as Channeler and Phantom Dragon #at least in a 4000 lp environment where people aren't necesarily playing the best meta strats. she clears house with Phantom on its own #Can't target it. can't attack it. You can only be attacked directly for half over two of her turns for game. Unless you have non-targetting #It also doesn't help that she's a a downer character. Not even for a dynamic reason - she's just depressed and lethargic #so a lot of plots I could throw her down don't make a ton of sense - she wouldn't do them on her own (no energy/lack of caring to do them)#So she ends up getting pulled along by other characters - very tacked-on feeling character when writing her #I do like her a lot though. She gets used primarily for me to explore Maiami's duel school system as a concept
