it's not as though she'd lied to them per se. she really hadn't found anything in the catacombs they'd paid to excavate.... but had evan failed to mention the cipher she'd picked up outside the cathedral ? maybe. still, she hadn't expected them to catch on and tail her all the way out to panama. the eye contact is undeniable, so she musters a coy grin and crosses the bar toward her. "funny running into you here.... didn't realize this place was such a tourist trap this time of year."
